SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I [ ROAD WORKS]

Repair to pot holes, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming, including supply of road metal/ aggregates, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Preparing of existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bitumen primer @ 5.00Kg/10Sqm using paving bitumen VG-10 over black top surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC), 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content of paving bitumen by weight of total mix using VG-30 grade bitumen, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using mechanical paver and rolled using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note: The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following element:- (i) In case of variation in the binder content as per approved design mix in comparison with the binder content as specified above, the variation in qty of binder content on lesser side shall be adjusted through supply only rate of Bitumen VG-30. However, variation on the upper side shall be carried out by the contractor without any price adjustment.

Providing and applying road marking paint by laying of hot applied thermo plaster compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beds @250gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beds as per IRC 35. The finished surface to be levelled uniform and free from streaks and holes etc complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam with 4 % binder content of paving bitumen by weight of total mix using VG-30 grade bitumen, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity, consolidated thickness of 75 mm or less, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Yellow two side road stud as per IS specification installed in asphaltic surface by drilling hole 30mm upto a depth of 60mm and bedded in a suitable adhesive of epoxy mortar and fixed with a suitable dia bolt in drilled hole etc complete all as specified and as directed. (Model No.RPM 290 ILC 2Y of 3M or equivalentas mentioned in PS)

M&L for Solar road stud having 3 LEDs of colours red/ yellow to a side (total 6 Nos) housed in a tough pressure die casted aluminium alloy of any size (120 x 130 mm), (100 x 130 mm) and (125x125mm) of height 20mm with built in stem-nail 30mmx 50mm long for fixing with epoxy. LEDs, solar cells, battery & light sensor well protected in side under tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet roof.
