REPAIR/RESURFACING OF CERTAIN ROADS AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT BD BARI MIL STN

M&L Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with wire brush/brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or by mechanical blower to remove all loose dirt etc to black top surfaces, and applying evenly a priming/tack (Viscosity grade paving bitumen of Grade VG-10) @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm to road surface bituminous asphaltic semi dense concrete consolidated thickness 30 mm with stone chippings graded aggregate with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix, (viscosity grade paving bitumen of grade VG-30) and 4% stone dust conforming to required specification for filler as per IRC-95, 1987 (filler) by weight of mix, prepared in hot mix plant, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surfaces by mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 10 tone power roller completed all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Repair to potholes, any depth ,not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming, applying tack coat with (Viscosity grade paving bitumen of Grade VG-10) @ 10.0 Kg per 10 Sqm of surface putting in & including premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 Kg/sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surfaces by mechanical paver and using with 8 to 12 tonne power roller (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings),completed all as specified and as directed.

Premix bituminous macadam laid / rolled and compacted using 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber, with broken stone graded aggregate with 4% of paving bitumen binder of viscosity grade VG-30 grade by weight of toal mix (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less) completed all as specified and as directed.

M&L Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required completed all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Marking lines 2.5 mm thick, dashes arrows etc of any description n. exc 10cm width/girth on road surface using hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS-3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturere instruction completed all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed

S&F Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Mandatory/ Regulatory sign boards of 900 mm diametre with support length of 3750 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing M.S. message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours).Backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc.completed all as specified and as directed.
