REPAIR / MAINTENANCE TO RANGE, TARGETS AND OTHER MISC WORKS AT DDK RANGE AT AFS KALAIKUNDA

M & L for Making good disturbed surface of earth by spreading and leveling n.exc 30cm deep existing surface of earth complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Cross ploughing not less than 30 cm deep in any type of soil and leveling including demetaling (separation of pebbles) of the existing earth surface using suitable earth, ploughing equipment (mechanical equipment) to form a loose/porous soil complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and filling sand (fine) in and including HDPE bags not less than 40 Kg in each bag including stitching and placing all around the sand pit complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Screening to existing sand at target area, under shoot area, over shoot area and sand berms to a depth n.exc 30 cm including removal of stone / pebbles and shifting the complete screened sand to the original location including racking out the sand in original location complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Repair/ reinstallaing of the existing damaged pin made up of earth of PBT/LBT to the required height of 3.60 mtr for PBT and 5.50 mtr for LBT to form a cone including making good the disturbed surface all complete and as specified. Note:- i) Earth for making cone if additionally required shall be brought from target area or 1.0 Km to 1.5 km form the target area complete all as specified and as directed. ii) Excess earth required for making pin shall be paid extra under relevant item.

Repair to berm of LBT & PBT by spreading, depositing and levelling 1.50 wide, 30 cm height with approved earth complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note:- i) Earth for making berm if additionally required shall be brought from target area or 1.0 Km to 1.5 km form the target area complete all as specified and as directed. ii) Excess earth required for making berm shall be paid extra under relevant item.

M & L for spreading of lime powder @ 0.50 Kg/Sqm complete all as directed by Engineer -in-Charge . Note: (i) Spreading of lime powder will be carried out in morning before commencement of firing and in evening after completion of firing as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old surfaces of walls and applying two coat of cement base paint including scraping, rubbing, washing complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing services for hiring of Mechanical Excavator for filling of caters/ditches of any depth with available earth at sorroundings, lifting and placing of soil, levelling of earth, filling approved earth (approved earth will be measured and paid separately under respective item) in depressed area etc as directed by Engineer-In-Charge including licenced driver, fuel etc as and when on required on hour run basis. Note:- When the run is not a full hour or in multiples of an hour but involves a fraction of an hour the amount payable for that fraction shall be proportional to the number of quarter hours involved. (ii) The unit rates of item of work will be inclusive of all the other charges for the machineries including registration charges, road tax, insurance charges, maintenance charges, cost of fuel, lubricants, salary of driver, washing charges, any repairing/replacement of spare parts charges and various other taxes and levies, if applicable, fines, etc. (iii) Reporting duty place is DDK range under GE(AF) Kalaikunda. There will be no dead hour/mileage. The hour age for the purpose of "vehicle run" and "hours of duty" shall be reckoned from the strating of the job to finishing of the job. No hour will be allowed to drivers for lunch/breakfast/dinner/garaging or for drawl of diesel etc.

Rough excavation by mechanically means (Mechanical Excavator ) not exceeding 1.5m deep and getting out in any kind of soil and removing excavated material exc 1000 m but n exc 1500 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5 m above the starting point. Note:- i) Exact quantity of required earth to be filled in depressed area (under BOQ Srl No ) shall be calculated from level sheet (to be taken before and after filling with level instrument) after 10 percent deduction of consolidated fills. The cost of surveyor, level instrument and level sheet shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.ii) The rates for removal of spoil include for loading into and unloading from barrows, carts, baskets, etc or mechanical transport vehicles.
