CERTAIN REPAIR / MAINT OF SEWAGE SYSTEM INCLUDING CLEANING OF SEPTIC TANK AND REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF SEWAGE LINES MANHOLES AND RELEVANT WORKS OF FATEHGARH CANTT

M&L for clearing blockage WC (E Type & I Type) by opening inspection door bend, Gully trap/floor trap, sewage line to first man hole by Roding/pressure to clear blockage. Note : a) Contractor/Rep of the contractor has to collect the complaints on daily basis from Incharge of complaint cell. b) The blockage shall be cleared on the same day of the reciept of complaint. c) In case of non attendance of complaints of blockage by the contractor on the same day, a penalty of Rs 500- per complaint per day will be recovered from the contractor.

M&L for pumping out mechanically liquid or semi liquid sludge/solid waste from manholes, sewage wells or septic tanks of any size including making an open trench for disposal of liquid waste. After completion of the work the entire area shall be disinfected with bleaching powder and covered with soil, complete all as specified and directed. Note :-During cleaning of sewage well or septic tanks, the contractor shall make alternate temporary pumping arrangement for uninterrupted sewage disposal.

M&L for cleaning of existing manholes, septic tank and sewage well by closing the existing sewage system at the last manhole and providing temporary katcha drain for flow of sewage water. Removing man hole cover and dewatering the liquid waste by mechanical pumping. Removing the solid sludge by mechanical system up to the bottom of septic tanks and sewage well at any size and depositing the solid sludge in to a near by pit of suitable size excavated adjacent to the septic tank / sewage well. Covering the pit with excavated earth after filling the sludge and maintaining proper hygenic conditions. Opening the man hole after cleaning of septic tank and relaying the man hole cover complete all as specified and direcrted

Cleaning of chocked sewer line by diesel driven vehicle mounted hydraulic operated high pressure suction- cum -jetting sewer cleaning machine fitted with pump having 4000 litres suction capacity, and 6000 litres water jetting tank capacity including skilled operator, supervising engineer etc for cleaning and partial desilting of manholes and de-checking of sewer lines. Dechocking and flushing of sewer line from one manhole to another by high pressure jetting system of 2200 PSI for sewer line ranging from 150mm dia upto 300mm dia for all depth complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for Construction of Soak Well of size 2.40 m dia (d) & 3.00 m Effective Depth complete all as specified and as shown on drawing No. TD/576 sheet No. 1/2 & 2/2 dated 16 Jun 1989.

Demolition and breaking up of 150mm bore drain pipes (salt glazed stoneware) in cement mortar including bedding & haunching and taking out from trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for 150 mm bore drain pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150mm bore salt glazed stoneware drain pipe class 'SP 2', ISI marked, laid in trenches, on concrete bed to required slope, jointed in CM (1:1) and tested complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, for 150 mm dia SGSW pipe including making good to pipe and rendering , cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or ¾ section) in cement concrete (1:2:4 ) type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate finished smooth and reforming benching as required complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches n.exc. 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for shaft, wells, cesspits manholes pier holes etc n.exc. 10 sqm on plan and n.exc. 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed
