The valve shall be complete with Mild Steel flanges conforming to Table 17 of IS:6392–1971 or latest revision, including all necessary nuts, bolts, washers, and specials conforming to the relevant IS codes with latest amendments. The work shall include cutting of existing pipes wherever required and welding in three layers (leak-proof) strictly in accordance with IS:816–1969 (latest amendment) to ensure sound and durable joints. The work shall include laying, dressing, clamping, and fixing of the cable on wall, floor, cable rack, or trench as per site requirements, including cutting, jointing, and termination with properly crimped aluminium lugs, ISI-marked cable glands, and end sockets, ensuring neatness and secure connections. All supports, clamps, and accessories shall be provided as required for a safe and durable installation. Providing, supplying, and fixing G.I. Bend of 150 mm nominal diameter, conforming to IS:1239 (Part 1)–2004 (latest revision with up-to-date amendments) for medium-class G.I. pipes. The work shall include cutting of existing pipes wherever required, bending and welding in as per site conditions, and making leak-proof joints by welding in three layers strictly in accordance with IS:816–1969 (latest amendment) to ensure durable and watertight connections. All welded portions shall be thoroughly cleaned and painted with two or more coats of high-quality anti-corrosive paint over a suitable primer to prevent rusting. The item also includes providing all necessary nuts, bolts, washers, and specials, if required, for proper installation. The work shall be executed complete in all respects including all leads, lifts, labour, tools, and materials, strictly in accordance with the relevant IS Codes and to the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
