Eligibility Criteria

The contractors can request for E-tendering documents on Payment (non refundable) for each work towards the tender processing fee. While applying the contractors can pay the tender processing in the e-procurement portal using modes-viz. through ICICI bank / credit card / direct debit / National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT)/ Over The Counter (OTC).

The contractor should pay Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) in the E-procurement portal using any of the payment modes viz., credit card / direct debit / National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) / Over the Counter (OTC). The validity of the EMD shall be for a period of 180 days from the date of opening of the tender. The EMD amount accepted in the form of electronic cash (not through DD) will be maintained in the Government Central Pooling Account at ICICI Bank until the contract is closed. The EMD amount to be paid through Electronic Cash only.

The bidder quoting below the amount put to tender should can and upload the FDR for the difference amount for each work separately, drawn in favour of Executive Engineer, CADA M&G projects, Dn No.3 Chikodi. Obtained from the Nationalized bank and the same FDR should be produced at the time of opening of tender. The FDR should have a validity from the date of application to close of contract. Do not upload/ produce the clubbed FDR for more than one work. Work wise separate FDR is compulsory.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The Contractors can access and complete the e-tender documents from 24-09-2026 to 08-10-2026 up to 17.30 hours

The Submitted bids will be opened on 12-10-2026 at 10.30 hrs onwards in the office of the Executive Engineer, CADA M&G projects Div No. 3 Chikodi

The contractors should have experience in executing the similar nature of work in any one of the financial year of preceding Five years (2021-22 to 2025-26) to an extent of not less than 50 % of amount put to tender.

The intending bidder should have achieved in the last 5 years i.e from 2021-22 to 2025-26, minimum financial turnover in all Classes of Civil Engineering Works usually not less than amount put to tender in at least two financial years for other works & a minimum financial turnover of not less than the amount put to tender for at least one financial year For SC or ST or CAT-I or CAT-II A reserved works. The Annual Turnover certificate with UDIN from chartered accountant to be uploaded

The following certified copies duly attested shall be scanned and attached to E procurement tender. (i) Contractors Registration certificate enrolled under KPWD/ Govt. Department and renewed till date. (ii) Annual Turnover Certificate of last five years 2021-22 to 2025-26 duly certified by registered Chartered Accountant with UDIN. iii) Work done Certificate (Item Wise quantity Details) or Performance certificate Issued by an Officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer. iv) GST registration certificate and recent month GST filed statement (Scanned copies of the same should be uploaded) v) A Copy of the latest income tax return filed and Balance sheet. vi) Liquid assets or availability of credit facilities of not less than Rs.6.35 lakhs, respectively for individual work (Credit lines or letter of credit or certificates from banks) for meeting the fund requirement etc.(usually 30% of the amount of contract). vii) Employees provident fund (EPF) registration certificate and recent month challan paid copies including past 6 Months viii). Valid pan card ix) Scanned copies of the FDR for the Difference Amount Quoted.

Corrigendum / Addendum will be published in the E- Procurement website for all modifications / Corrections if any.

The rates shall be exclusive of GST (for service of this contract). GST will be paid to the tendered amount separately as per prevailing rates. The increase in GST shall not be paid in the agreement/extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible.

The intending contractors should note that, if any of the lands (either in part / parts or in whole) required for the work is not yet acquired by the Department, it shall be the responsibility of the contractor to take possession of such land and start the work by consent of the owners before commencement of work at no extra cost to the Department and no claims whatsoever relating to non availability of land would be entertained

If any of the dates mentioned above happens to be a General Holiday, the next working day will holds good

Conditional tenders are liable to be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tenders shall have the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

As per the Government order No. LT/300/LET/2006 Bangalore Dt:-18-01-2007 a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount of the contractor will be deducted towards cess and will be credited to the Karnataka building and other Constructions labour welfare fund.

Any bidder who is otherwise technically qualified withdraws from the bidding process at any stage before a final decision is taken on the tender, the EMD of such bidder shall be forfeited, the name of such bidder shall be removed from the category list of contractors at least for a minimum period of one year in DEPARTMENT/KPWD ,besides making such bidders liable for blacklisting.

The bidders have to produce all the original certificates or documents as uploaded during evaluation of bids strictly within seven days from the date of opening of tender.

The payment of bills for these works will be made as and when letter of credit received under the same Head of Account from Govt. of Karnataka.

Typo-graphical errors if any will not be the ground for any claims by the contractor.

If many bidders quoted lowest same price to the work and the award of work will be done by toss/ lottery system or by obtaining no objection certificate in this regard by other contractors who have quoted the same price

The work shall be tackled and completed within prescribed tender period.

The bidder should adhere to all terms and conditions as mentioned in the tender notification and applicable bid documents

The successful bidder has to follow the prevailing Government orders strictly regarding Royalty Charges.

The tenderers are instructed to abide by the instructions and conditions contained in the Standard tender documents KW-1/KW-2/KW-3/KW-4 as applicable to bidder

All materials required for the work, shall be procured by the tenderer himself as per the applicable government orders and samples of such materials should be carried to quality tests for testing at his own cost before use on work as per the directions.

The tenderer should execute the work as directed by Engineer-in-charge of the work. The tenderer should submit photos in 3 stages (before, during the execution and after completion of work) along with the bill.

The tenderer should maintain the work during the defect liability period strictly.

Relaxation to the contractors belonging to SC, ST, CAT-1 & CAT-2A will be as per the applicable government order/orders.
