SITE CLEARANCE Clearing scrub jungle including uprooting of vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 1 km outside the periphery of the area cleared with all lead and lift, loading and unloading, hire charges of machinery and equipment, transportation charges, labour charges and all other incidental charges etc., complete as per direction of the Engineer in charge. Note: The rate quoted is inclusive of removal of top soil along with vegetation; grass etc. for taking the pre levels in the area.

DISMANTLING/DEMOLITION Dismantling/demolishing the existing seven (7) numbers of G.I Steel Roof old structures of different sizes mentioned below by removal/demolition of Trusses, purlins, Tie runners, roofing Sheets, doors, windows, brick walls, floor etc., including foundation by suitable mechanical means without damaging the salvageable materials, all as per relevant specifications and as directed including transporting materials and dumped in the designated dumping place with in a lead of 4 kms or as directed including barricading, defastening, cutting, handling, etc, all as directed including all labour, cranes if any with suitable capacity wherever required, equipment, tools, plants, tackles, scaffolding, safety ladders, safety belts, safety helmets, transport, fuel etc., complete. All salvageable material shall be kept in safe and handed over to the Employer as per the Engineers instruction. Removal of boulders / stones / PCC blocks of different sizes including iron ore spillage if any in the dredging area up to 00.00 CD including all labour, transport, tools tackles, plants, equipment, machinery, fuel etc., complete Note: 1. The removed items shall be transported and stacked properly at an identified location anywhere inside the port limits within a lead of 5 Kms. The rates quoted for this item shall include the cost of loading, handling, transporting and stacking of the boulders / stones 2. The Contractor shall engage cranes of suitable capacity and boom length for easy handling and placing at the required place. 3. Quantity for payment will be based on stacked measurement on ground. 30% shall be considered as voids and deducted from the stacked volume. 4. The Size of the Boulder/Stones/PCC blocks are a. 50kg to 250kg-20% b. 250kg to 2500kg-50% c. 2500kg to 5000kg-30% 5.The size range and percentage of materials mentioned herewith are approximate only.

Removal of the Accropodes of different sizes from the proposed dredging area without damaging the units all as per relevant specifications and as directed including all labour, transport, tools tackles, plants, equipment, machinery, fuel etc., complete Note: 1 The Accropodes shall be transported and stacked properly at an identified location anywhere inside the port limits within a lead of 3 Kms. The rates quoted for this item shall include the cost of loading, handling, transporting and stacking of the Accoropodes. 2 The Contractor shall engage cranes of suitable capacity and boom length for easy handling and placing at the required place. 3. The details of the Accropods are -9.6 Tonnes(Approx) Accropodes – 100 Nos. -12 Tonnes (Approx) Accropodes – 75 Nos. -15.12Tonnes(Approx) Accropodes – 25 Nos

Dry Excavation: Cutting, loosening and removing all type of materials such as sand, silt, silt mixed with clay/roots boulders weighing upto 250kg individually etc. as available at the location of the proposed Dock basin area adjacent to GCB2 and/or along the approaches to GCB2, from the existing level upto 0.00m and transporting, dumping (to the required height as directed by the Engineer/ Employer) and levelling at the designated area located anywhere in the port lands (inside or outside port boundaries) within a lead of 4 km including cost of all labour, materials, tools and plants, fuel, loading, unloading transportation, consumables etc., all as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note: The rate specified is deemed to include transportation cost for a lead of 4 Kms between 3- 4kms.

Removal of isolated submerged boulders / stones from sea bed below 00.00m CD , if any in the dredging area including all labour, transport, tools tackles, plants, equipment, machinery, fuel etc., complete Note: 1 The removed items shall be transported and stacked properly at an identified location anywhere inside the port limits within a lead of 5 Kms. The rates quoted for this item shall include the cost of loading, handling, transporting and stacking of the boulders/stones. 2 The Contractor shall engage cranes of suitable capacity and boom length for easy handling and placing at the required place. 3 The Contractor shall engage suitable skilled labours including divers if any for the work. 4 Quantity for payment will be based on stacked measurement on ground. 30% shall be considered as voids and deducted from the stacked volume.

Deploying required type of dredgers (TSHD/CSD/Backhoe or other suitable machineries/crafts etc) as per the work methodology proposed by the tenderer subject to approval of Engineer and carrying out capital dredging in all type of soil including sand, silt, clay, boulders etc (boulders and cobbles up to size of 400 mm to be included as dredging quantity along with this item), as existing at site of work from the existing sea bed level to ( - ) 16.0 m CD in the GCB 2 area, approaches to the GCB in Harbour basin, MLT II and IOCL Captive Jetty area including side slopes and below the deck portion of GCB 2 to the required width all as shown in the drawing and as detailed in the condition of contract/specification including disposing/dumping the dredged materials evenly in the locations specified in the drawing Including cost of conducting all types of surveys ( Pre, Post and interim surveys, Third Party Surveys),cost/hire charges of survey launch, all plants, labour, fuel materials, consumables, etc. complete and as directed by the ‘Employers Engineer.’

Environmental Monitoring Cost as per the details specified in the Bid document. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of men, material, equipment, tests, fuel and transportation.
