The design of Tower shall be carried out in accordance with provisions covered as per IS:802 of 1992. ii. Steel section in conformity to IS:808-1976 are to be used in Towers ectension and steel setting template conforming to IS 2062-1992. iii. High Tensible steel as per IS 8500 is permitted for fabrication of Towers. iv. Structural steel angle section manufactured accordingly to IS 808-1976 and tested according to IS 2062-1992 having yield strength not less than 250N/ Sqmm and stress value of high tensible eteel ( Fe 490 & Fe 540) according to 8500-1992. v. Straightening shall be done so that it does nnot injure the materials no hamerring permitted. vi. the cut surface shall be clear, smooth, reasonable square. vii. Holled in the members shall either be drilled or purchased to jig and shall not be formed by flame cutting process. viii. Bending of mild steel angles shall be bent odd. ix. Fasteners, Bolts , Nuts & Washers shall confirm to IS 6639-1972 & IS 12427-1988. All bolts, nuts, washers shall be galvanized. x. All taxes ......... and stabe shall be fully galvanized conforming to IS 2629-1966 & IS 4759-1968. The section must withstand test as per IS 2633 1972. For fastuers it shall conform to IS 5358-1969. Spring washers shall be galvanized as IS 1573-1970 xi. All galvanized tower stell and stab angles shall be handled and transported to work site by the contractor with care to avoid damages.
