Description of Work / Item(s)

Detailed Surveying of the cable route and submitting the report and drawing for the location of joints bays,etc including cost of all equipment,T&P,etc., Complete.

Removing the block topping of any thickness by wedging,chiseling by using chisel,hammer, power hammer and pick axe for forming cable trench and duct and road crossing of required width and depth as directed by the engineer at site including the cost of providing sign boards,dancer lights,indication arrangements wherever necessary,lead,lift labour and tools and plants etc., complete.

Earth work excavation in all soils including hard stiff clay,stiff black cotton soil,hard red earth,shales,murram gravel,stoney earth mixed with small boulders,gravelly soil and slush and silt under water requiring the aud of basket and vessels for forming cable trench and cable duct at road crossing of required width and depth as directed by the engineer at site including cost of signal boards,danger lights,indication arrangements wherever necessary and providing shoring and strutting arrangements wherever necessary all lead,lift,labour,tools and plants etc., complete.

Providing shoring and shuttering using necessary country wooden planks 40mm thick and 8 cm to 10 cm dia casurina,vertical posts at every 300mm c/c of 1.80m height duly anchored 300mm into the ground for firm support including placing and making the two rows of plants of top and bottom and one middle row of casurina with strut arrangement at top so as to afford easy laying of cables.The rate shall also include necessary storage charges for casurina and country wooden plants at suitable place so as not to affect the traffic and movement of public transporting them to work spot lead lift besides the cost of materials etc., complete.(anyother improved method of shoring and structting is also acceptable to TANTRANSCO.But at no extra cost to TANTRANSCO.

Transport and clearing the Excess Excavated earth and debris then and there immediately to avoid any hindrance to normal flow of traffic and public beyond a distance of 5KM from the work spot as per the direction of engineer-in-charge including loading unloading charges etc.,complete.

Supply and laying wooden platform for public convenience to cross over the trench including cost of all transportation making and placing wherever required,labour lead and lift etc., complete as per the direction of Engineer at site.

Refilling with fine sand in layers well consolidated as per standard specification including cost of filling lead,lift,labour for filling well ramming consolidation etc., complete.

Laying PCC 1:2:4 using 20mm HBG metal for bottom portion of the trench for providing PVC pipe for road crossing ducts in proper and alignment and level as per standard specification including cost of all materials lead,lift,labour,for laying concrete curing etc., complete and as per std specification.

Supplying and 200mm dia PVC pipe 6kg (make Finolex or Astral aquasafe pipes)including labour for transporting the pipes,cutting and jointing the pipe,laying in position,tying with 7/20 SWG GI wire inside the pipe and closing the ends with end cap including cost of pipe,specials,labour,lead,lift,T&P etc.

Supply and 140mm dia PVC Pipe 6kg(make Finolex or Astral aquasafe pipes) including labour for transporting the pipes,cutting and jointing the pipe,laying in position,tying with 7/20 SWG GI wire inside the pipe and closing the ends with end cap including cost of pipe,specials,labour,lead,lift,T&P etc.

Supply and laying of warning grid tape of size 500 width as per specification including transporting,cutting and pasting the same with required adhesive etc.,complete

Providing barricade arrangements with necessary 8cm to 10cm dia vertical posts and horizontal runners (vertical posts at every 1.00M c/c for an over all height 1.5M,driven 300mm into the ground +1.20M projected above GL in 3 rows of every 300mm c/c suitably tied with coireic,including cost of all materials,cutting to size,taking pits,shoring them of a place away from the work site so as not to affect the flow of traffic and movements of public transporting to work site including lead,lifts,etc,complete. The barricade have to be removed and refixed twice,for cutting the trench and secondly for removing the dumped earth for laying the cable and the bidder rate shall provide for such operation.

Placing of the steel barricade of size 2.4M width & 1.2 M height for the trench on vehicular movement side inclusive cost of rent,transportation,labour for loading,unloading & fixing the same in position and removal of the same etc., complete

Supply and laying RCC cover slab of size 100cmX30cmx5cm carefully at site including labour for loading,unloading,stencilling and placing in position carefully as required at site,cost of slab,all labour,lead,lift,T&P,etc.,complete as directed by the engineer at site

Laying of 1x1200sq.mm 230kv XLPE UG cable by means of which over rollers(should be supplied by the contractor and the rate is for ckt mts,ie, for 3 runs of cables). Provision of HDPE pipe of 315 MM dia wall tk 10mm tk (PE63 grade-PN 2.5),6 kg per Cm2(make finolex or Astral aquasafe pipe)with splgot and shocket end by trench less method 2.5 M to 3.0 m below the ground level without affecting any highway installations and other service lines. The rate includes provision of drive pit,entry pit,exit pit as required and removing the soil from the pipe,cost of jointing the pipe fusion method tying and providing 7/20 SWG GI wire. inside the pipe and closing the ends by ends cover etc, complete or by any other suitable method as the site condition may warrant as approved by the engineer at site.
