Opening of the steam boiler ,dismounting of the burner gun assembly ,removing the front door ,fittings ,back plate etc from it by employing chain block. The job then involves throughly removing soot and carbon deposits inside,combustion chamber etc by using wire brush, scrapers and blower . The inside of the boiler circuits will be cleaned by circulating through it a solution of de-scaling compound, sulphamic acid powder of approved make and water continuously for 24 hr with the help of descaling pump while maintaining a PH of 1-2. The solution is to be circulated from a tank/barrel/trays.All consumable items viz. Brushes, detergent, diesel/kerosene oil, dhoti cloth required shall be arranged by the contractor.The job also involves checking ,cleaning and setting of Blowdown and Mobray control system. All other accessories of the boiler shall also be opened and cleaned similarly. The steam boiler shall be again reassembled ,tested and commissioned after servicing. The job includes replacement of all seals ,gaskets, asbestos rope. Asbestos felt, asbestos sheet, defective nuts, bolts,damaged packings etc. as shall be required for sucessful operation of the boiler .The tools and tackles required for the job and any other consumables shall be provided by the contractor.

Complete cleaning,desooting and decarbusing of fire tube by using wire brush, scrapers and blower.The job includes replacement of front ,rear door and fire boxes gaskets etc.

Providing and replacement of castable refractory and insulating bricks work .The job includes complete removal of old damaged refractory and thorough cleaning of refractory surfaces /bases.Angle Iron hooks/holdfasts shall be firmly welded to the refractory base whereever necessary and collar of the top plate shall be repaired as per sample.Refractory & insulating bricks shall be laid in "fire Crete Super' brand castible refractory cement.

Repairing of tube ends cracks by way of cutting,welding and grinding .The job includes cutting and removing of old leaky and damaged portion ,cleaning and filling of surfaces and welding .All tools ,tackles,IBR Welder ,skilled manpower etc are to be arranged by the contractor.

Providing & fiiting of seamless fire tube (IBR approved) in the steam Boiler .The job includes cutting and removing of old leaky and damaged tube,cleaning and filling of surfaces and fitting new tubes by alignment and welding .The are to be tested at hydraulic pressure equivalent to 1.5 times to 2.5 times the operating pressure All tools ,tackles and skilled manpower are to be arranged by the contractor.Tubes shall be of Boiler grade material as per BS 3059 (Part-1)/BS 3059 (Part-1I).The contractor shall have to submit necessary certificates as asked by concerned Executive Engineer/ AEE or his representative ( Tata/Jindal)

Servicing of burner block assembly .The job also involves dismantling & cleaning of the burner gun, nozzle, diffuser plate, electrodes,photo cells and allied items . The main burner block and other accessories of the block shall cleanined by using petrol and flushed with soft brush. The burner block shall be again reassembled ,tested and commissioned after overhauling. The job includes replacement of all seals ,gaskets, asbestos rope. Asbestos felt, asbestos sheet, defective nuts, bolts etc. as shall be required

Providing and fitting of fusible plug as per sample .The job includes removing old one ,cleaning of surface,etc.All tools,tackles,skilled manpower etc are to be arranged by contarctor

Servicing,repairing and caliberation of Safety valves of the Steam Boiler as per IBR act/regulation.The contarctor has to supply caliberation and test certificate after completing the work as per IBR act .The job includes all neccesaary to carry out repairing and caliberation of safety valves including below (a)Dismantle the safety valve after taking the initial spring compression reading. (b) Take the measurement of the upper reading position with respect to the guide. (c) Clean all the parts after complete dismantling. (d) Lap the lapping rings with master plate. (e) Lap the disc, seat with lapping ring. (f) Lap the stem at the mating surface in the disc. (g) Provision of necessary arrangement for cutting and maintaining the correct seat profile. For this purpose special jigs and fixtures are required. (h) Check the condition of the lower and upper adjacent ring pins. (i) Check the straightness of the spindle in a V block. (j) New spindle is to be used if any major deviation is found in the straightness of the existing spindle. (k) Disc collar, lift stop collar and overlap collar are to be fixed in the new spindle (l) DPT checking of seat bushing area (m) Assemble the valve as per the measured dimension. (n) Checklist is to be maintained as per the instruction of the site Engineer (o) All the valves are to be set as per the set pressure (p) The set pressure recorded as per the testing equipment should confirm to the original setting. (q) In case of any deviation the set pressure is to be adjusted by tightening or loosing the spring adjuster. (r) The amount of adjustment for getting the set pressure is to be recorded. (s) The record of testing to be submitted to the Engineer-In-Charge.

Servicing of feed water Pump assembly .The job also involves dismantling, cleaning and servcing of the pump parts including impeller, casing, diffuser, bearing seats,etc . The Job includes checking of motor bearings,greasing ,alignment ,replacing gaskets etc.The includes assembling all parts of feed water Pump ,connecting its suction and delivery,connecting input and output power connections and testing it on full load.All tools and tachkles are to be arranged by the contarctor
