Periodic Maintenance of Towers at Hupari II RTT Uchagaon RTT 18 M Durgmanwad 40 M NB and replacing tower memebers of Gaganbawada 60 MTTH Tower in Kolhapur District 2nd Call

Unmounting & Dismantling unoperational GSM/MW/UHF antenna from the towers with the help of the pully, ropes and other necessary equipments carefully, without disturbing the operational GSM telecom infrastructures mounted on the tower , dismantling attached pole mounts, other fixtures,carrying upto exchange bldg premises with a lead of 50 m and stacking carefully as per the direction of the Engineer in Charge.

Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete

Supplying at the site of work the Hot Dip Galvanised MS members ( missing members ) of Tower Structure, Working Platform, Safety Cage, Ladder, Wave Guide Rack, Antennea Fixture etc. of required sectional shape and size including Drilling Holes for fixing Nuts & bolts etc. all in conformity with the approved drawings of BSNL and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge . All members shall be made out of primary source of structural steel of approved make: viz. SAIL, TISCO, RINL or equivalent make etc.

NOTES:

1. All tower materials shall be hot dipped galvanized. The tower materials, fabrication and galvanizing shall be as per relevant BIS and TEC specifications.

2. Measurements: Weight of individual member shall be worked out on the basis of linear measurements and standard coefficients. Nuts, bolts and washers shall be measured for payment separately.

a) for tower materials -angles,ladder, wave guide,earth strip etc.

Supplying skilled beldar for cleaning /removing birds nests, bee hives,etc.from the tower structure etc all complete as per the directions of the Engineer in charge.

a)40 m USO/NBLW/NBFL Tower

b) RTT Tower upto 15 M Height

Maintenance of ground based tower as per following, Fixing of missing/dislocated members, earthing strips, members of working platform, runway etc. Tightening of nuts to required torque of tower , all components which include antenna fixtures, cable feeder rack, resting and working platforms with hand rails, wave guide rack, wave guide rack support, ladders etc., including fixing all missing GI members, galvanized bolts, nuts and spring washers, etc with cutting/welding, drilling holes wherever required all complete as per approved drawing in all respect as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Rate includes cost of all operations involved in tightening of nuts, hoisting and fixing missing nuts and bolts, dismembering the bent or deformed members and reshaping/straightning the same in workshop and refixing the reshaped members including hire charges of tools, plants and machineries, insurance premium of labours, etc and nothing extra will be paid. ( cost of missing members, nuts, bolts, spring and plain washers etc supplied shall be paid for aeperately. ) ( The contractor has to submit insurance coverage certificate of labours, site supervisors etc. before starting the work and contractor has to take utmost safety precautions to avoid any mishappening on site) Note.: Agency has to arrange skilled labours for checking of nutbolt tightening and other works by Engineer in charge.

a) 40 m NB/USO tower

b) RTT Tower upto 15 M Height

Supplying at the site of work the Hot dipped Galvanised Steel Plain Nuts, Check Nuts, Bolts, Plain & Spring Washers of grade 5.6 and as per IS- 12427 required size as per the structural drawing of the tower including threading the bolts for the required length all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing LED aviation obstruction lamp (with minimum 55 LED Bulbs) at top of tower (at all heights involved )of Saraj, Binoy, Aviads, Litten or equivalent make with light dependent resistance sensor (day and night automatic timer) with necessary MS brackets, clamps etc., complete, all as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying & laying of 2x1.5 Sqmm armoured copper conductor Cable "Armoured ISI PVC Insulated & sheathed cable" of approved quality and brand including copper terminations/ Lugs etc. all complete as per directions of Engineer- in-charge. Sheath earthing for the armoured cable shall be done at minimum of two points on the tower as per the standards specified.

Providing and fixing copper Lightening arrester of 1500mm length, 25mm dia, hollow tube and of wall thickness not less than 1.60 mm including tinning the bottom portion of the spike for a length of not less than 150mm and connecting to the G.I. strip of size 50 x 3mm of earthing by means of clamps and 2nos 10mm dia brass bolts and nuts all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The lightening spike shall be fixed to the tower with Teflon sheetto avoid direct contact with the tower.

Providing and fixing lead strips of size 50X50X1 mm at joints of GI earthing strips as per direction of Engineer In Charge.

Providing & fixing Ebonite PVC Insulator for GI Strip 50 x 3 mm securely fixed to tower members with 2 Nos 150 mm long Nylon cable self locking zip ties as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.

Supplying skilled beldar for cleaning of the entire the tower structure with the nylon brushes etc of all fungus, algaes & other foreign matters i/c removing creepes if any etc all complete as per the directions of the Engineer in charge.
