Preparing the Structural Member surface with scrapping the old paint & rusting with scrapper, wire brush, sand paper with cleaning the surface and spray painting the same with two coats of coal tar epoxy paint over a coat of inorganic zinc silicate primer of approved quality up to a height of 12m, etc. complete including all staging, scaffolding, labour, machineries, all equipments, safety of workmen, all taxes but excluding GST, materials, fuel, brushes, tools, port entry fees etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling steel work in built up section up to a height of 12m in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc including dismembering and stacking the same at work site with supply of all labour, materials, T&P, machineries, staging, safety of workmen, scaffolding, all taxes but excluding GST, Port entry fees, all transportation, loading & unloading charges etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying the structural steel of TATA/ SAIL/ RINL or any approved make for vertical members/ horizontal member/ bracing or for any other usage as a structural member as specified by the Engineer in-charge, fabricating, welding at the locations or as directed and hoisting joists and fabricated structural members and placing in position with proper alignment to the existing net barrier structure up to a height of 12m as directed with engaging heavy machineries for lifting, shifting of structural members or any other use including transportation, handling, cutting, welding the materials/ structural with hire & running charges of welding machine and its accessories, all labour, testing charges, materials, cutting/drilling holes, fuel, tools and other equipments, tackles, gate entry fees, taxes, tollage, staging/ scaffolding, safety of workmen wherever necessary, etc. excluding GST complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. [N.B. : (i) Payment shall be made as per IS Code, (ii) No wastage shall be paid, (iii) Invoice of material procurement must be deposited]

Supplying fabricating and fixing knitted high strength new wind screen mesh up to a height of 12m, stretched to the extent possible to avoid any sag or crease, firmly fixed in between the steel framework erected. M.S flat 50mm x 4mm shall then be placed over the knitted fabric at an interval not exceeding 1000mm in the horizontal and vertical directions. The existing frame work and the steel strip with the knitted fabric fixed in between shall be bolted firmly with 6mm. dia. G.I. bolt and nuts with washers at spacing not exceeding 300mm while placing the fabric in between frame and M.S flat. The fabric shall be folded all around by at least 25mm so as to act as stiffener. If required the fabric shall be joined together with stitching by double folding the fabric and make stitching with the lubricated, twisted polyester thread as per manufacturers specifications and as directed including all labour, materials, all testing charges, fuels, tools, nut & bolts with washers, scaffolding, transport, handling, fabrication, stitching, tying, port entry fees, all taxes, excluding GST etc all complete but excluding the supply, fabrication and erection of steel and M.S Structures as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. N.B. :(1) Every consignment shall be supported by manufacturer’s certificate, as this is a pre-requisite for acceptance. (2) Payment for knitted fabric will be made for only for the area covered by such fabric. NO payment for folding or overlapping and wastage of fabrics. [NOTES : (I) If the knitted fabric strips are stitched together, this should be done using a double fold and stitching should be done using lubricated, twisted polyester thread of required thickness & (II) The fabric shall be stretched as per the manufacturer’s specification before fixing to the frame to avoid any sag or crease] (III) In case the specified M.S section is not available in market, the nearest alternative section may be used after approval of the Engineer-in-charge. Technical Specification of Knitted Fabric Net (1) MATERIAL:-high strength HDPE monofilament yarn and UV stabilized fabric. (2) Size and weight:-minimum 4 gauge thickness and minimum 275 gm/sqm with eyelet or selvage at both ends. (3) Colour- Green/ Black or any other approved by Engineer in-charge. (4) Shade factor(Light Transmission)-60% Maximum. (5) No of stitches in any one direction :- 3nos/cm. (6) Tensile load before UV exposure machine direction :-350-370 N/mm, Transverse direction :-1010-1020N/mm. (7) Tensile load after UV exposure machine direction :-340-350 N/mm,Transverse direction :-970-1000 N/mm. (8) Resistance :- withstand at 1000C . (9) Elongation before UV exposure machine direction :-minimum 10%, Transverse direction :-minimum 20%

Exterior painting two coats to wall surface with acrylic based weather coat paint with one coat primer of approved quality & shade having resistance to fungus, fading, including scraping, cleaning, brushing, washing the old paint, as and when required, removing the flakes applying uniformly two coats including cost and supply of all materials, labour, T&P, taxes, transportation, staging, scaffolding, port entry fees, etc. complete but excluding cost of GST as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil with initial lead & lift with dressing, leveling & compacting the foundation bed, breaking the clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm, disposing the material at a designated place and keeping the required quantities for back filling with cost of labour, T&P, port entry fees, transportation, loading at one end & unloading at other end, all taxes, excluding GST all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Back filling in foundation and plinth with excavated materials with all lead & lift including watering and ramming with dressing, leveling & compacting the material around the structure, breaking the clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm laying in layer not exceeding 0.30m. with cost of labour, T&P, Port entry fees, taxes, compacting the same but excluding GST all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge .

Engagement of 5HP Diesel Pump sets and placing those pumps at required locations inside prohibited area for dewatering of stagnated water by pumping including fuel and consumable, providing required length of suction and delivery pipes with supply of all labour, T&P, engagement, hire & running charges of Pump, transportation charges, tollage, Operator cost, Port entry fee with barricading the same area if required etc. including all taxes excluding G.S.T all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (No idle charges will be paid. Pumps will be engaged as and when required).

Shoring and shuttering for foundation trenches, pits etc. with supply of 38 mm thick non sal planks for poling boards and 10 mm thick non sal planks for walling and 125 mm dia non sal bullah for strutting including putting close the wooden planks sheets for protection of excavated earth pit and providing props to support the compound wall up to the required extent with supply of all labour materials T&P, taxes, port entry fees etc all complete but excluding cost of GST as directed by EIC . NOTE : This work shall be carried out adjacent to Port compound wall. Contractor shall provide necessary props to support the compound wall and shoring and shuttering to the excavated portion so that there shall not be any damage to the compound wall. In case any damage occurs to compound wall the same will be rectified by the contractor to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge at their own cost.

P.C.C(1:3:6) of using 20mm. & down C.B.G chips of approved quality in foundation & plinth including mixing hosting, laying to proper level & slope compacting, curing, watering charges etc. complete including cost & supply of all materials, labour, T&P, taxes, port entry fees, etc. complete but excluding cost of GST as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cement concrete (1:1.5:3) using 12mm to 20mm size C.B.G. chips for all floors, foundation & plinth etc. of approved quality mixing, hoisting, laying, compacting, curing with cost and supply of all materials, labour, T&P, taxes, port entry fees, etc. all complete but excluding GST as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE : Supply, fabrication and placing the reinforcement for the work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule. While concreting the column pedestal necessary anchor bolts of required specification shall be fixed for which payment will be made as per Item No-14 of this schedule.

Supply TOR/TMT steel manufactured by SAIL/TISCON/ VIZAG Steel of Fe 500 confirming to IS-1786 including cutting, straightening, bending, binding & placing the grills in position for RCC works binding the grills with binding wire of 18 to 20 gauge including supply of steel, labour, materials, transportation charges, T&P, taxes, port entry fees, etc. all complete but excluding GST as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. NB: No payment shall be made for extra weight than theoretical co-efficient.

Providing rigid smooth leak proof centering & shuttering made of steel/ply, plank of approved quality for R.C.C. structures and deshuttering and removing the same after due period with supply of all materials, labour, T&P, taxes, port entry fees, etc. all complete but excluding GST as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supplying high strength M20 bolts of class 8.8, 700mm. long anchor bolts as shown in the drawing conforming to relevant Indian Standards with suitable Hexagonal nuts with washers and fixing in position the same in column pedestals while concreting including welding the bolts to the column pedestal reinforcement including all materials, labour, tools, all taxes, port entry fees, equipments, transportations, fuel, etc. completed as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
