CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINES, MANHOLES AND REPAIRS TO SEWAGE SYSTEM AT AF STN MADH ISLAND UNDER GE AF THANE

Rates against items from 2 to 6 shall include the following provisions:- (i) The contractor shall ensure cleaning, clearing, and disposal of sludge/sewage-contaminated water (solid/semi-solid/liquid) from sewage lines, manholes, etc., as detailed in the items. All sewage lines and related components shall be maintained in a blockage-free and smoothly functioning condition for a period of 330 (Three Hundred Thirty) days, as per the completion date mentioned in Work Order No-1. To ensure timely resolution of complaints: (i) The contractor shall Deploy at least two dedicated personnel on-site daily on all working days for the purpose of attending complaints related to sewage maintenance. (ii) Complaints shall be collected from the office of the AGE B/R Madh Island at 9:00 AM and attended to promptly including providing required assitance to deployed labours to resolve the complaint. (iii) After resolution, complaint slips shall be signed by the user occupant and countersigned at the AGE B/R Office to confirm satisfactory completion. (iv) No complaint shall remain unattended for more than 24 hours. (v) In case of non-deployment or absence of the dedicated personnel, or if complaints are not attended within the stipulated time recovery of ₹500 per complaint per day shall be levied. Additionally, if the absence of personnel leads to unattended complaints or repeated delays, the Engineer-in-Charge reserves the right to issue a discrepancy notice. Upon three such notices, the contractor shall be liable to deploy an additional standby personnel at no extra cost to the Government, for the remaining contract period. (vi) Any damage caused during cleaning/clearing to manhole covers, gully trap covers, CI access doors, CI/PVC pipes and fittings, 'P' traps, or floor traps shall be rectified by the contractor using new materials, without any additional cost to the Government. (vii) Pipeline length shall be measured from center to center of manholes. Note : The qtys of cleaning is considered for 11 months cleaning work , will be done on quarterly basis as per plan given and regular complaint will be attended simultanously.

M&L for Cleaning and desilting of sewage lines /drain pipes of size upto 150mm bore, laid at any depth by pumping out /removing liquid waste/sewage ,plugging the ends pipes or diverting the flow into drains if necessary, removing silt, sludge etc, sprinking bleaching powder on the silt to avoid bad smell including all precautionary and safety measures, etc and removing the same(silt,sludge &other waste material) in outside of MoD land and depositing the sludge in a pit (including digging of pit) and covering the sludge with earth including removing and refixing of manhole covers from chambers , complete all as directed. Note: The above qty is considered for one year cleaning work will be done on quarterly basis as per plan given and regular complaint will be attended simultanously.

-ditto- all as per item No 2 herein before but size of pipe exceeding 150mm bore but not exceeding 300mm bore.

M&L for Cleaning & desilting of manholes depth not exc 2 mtr by pumping out/removing liquid waste/sewage & plugging the ends sewer pipes or diverting the flow into drains if necessary, removing silt, sludge etc, sprinking bleaching powder on the silt to avoid bad smell including all precautionary and safety measures, such as safety belts, lighting arrangements face mask etc and removing the same (silt, sludge & other waste material) in leak proof trucks outside of MD land all as per existing rules and regulations of civil authorities and cleaning the manholes with fresh water etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note: The above qty is considered for one year cleaning work will be done on quarterly basis as per plan given and regular complaint will be attended simultanously.

M&L for Cleaning the chocks/blockages in AC/CI/PVC soil waste/rain water pipes of any dia fixed on walls upto 10 m ht , by removing cleaning eye and refixing the same after cleaning the pipe, making good damaged cement joints, dia of pipe not exc 150mm dia upto two floors and including necessary scaffolding if required.

M&L for Cleaning blockage of Gully trap, Nahani trap, Floor trap etc including depositing sludge in a pit (including digging pit) distance not exc. 100 m from bldg and cover with earth along with spreading of bleaching powder complete .

M&L for Cleaning blockage of IWC/EWC etc including depositing sludge in a pit (including digging pit) distance not exc. 100 m from bldg and cover with earth along with spreading of bleaching powder complete .

Dewatering of sewage sumps, septic tanks by using vehicle mounted dewatering pumps including Opening of cover, de-watering and taking out sludge from septic tank/soakage wells of any size and removing sludge out side MoD land and cleaning the septic tank/soakage wells and placing cover in original position after dewatering , complete all as directed.

Demolition of cement Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, complete all as specified.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc., or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes etc., not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5 metre in depth and getting out, in any type of hard dense soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc., but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles including removing of rubish, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition and breaking up of drain pipes 200mm bore (Salt glazed ware/AC pipe/reinforced concrete pipe/PVC pipe ) set in cement mortar including concrete bed & haunching (if required) and removing away complete from site, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 200 mm bore reinforcement concrete pipe, Class NP2, laid in trenches and jointed in CM 1:1 and tested on concrete bed or directly on hard grounds, jointing and testing, complete, all as specified and as directed by Enginee-in- Charge. Note:- Excavation, earth work and concrete bed shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of this BOQ.

M&L for plain Cement Concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes 200mm bore, laid to falls including packing under and forming cradles to the pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster, of any description on brick or stone or cement concrete walls/ceiling including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2, using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and asdirected by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in coping, channels/benching of manholes, drains, laid to shape and slope and surfaces finished even and smooth using extra cement, complete all as specified and asdirected by Engineer-in-Charge.

Extra tor forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mi- tred/stopped ends etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with subclass 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius, built in cement mortor 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick, on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 by using water proofing compound as per manufacturer instruction and surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- WPC will be measured and paid separately.

Supply only integral water proofing compound, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading , leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in any type of soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (Reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition), including removal of broken material from site, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (20mm graded stone aggregate) as in apex stones,etc including chamfers, weatherings throating etc and setting in mortar 1:4 (for manholes etc.), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for TMT steel bars 8mm dia and over in reinforcement, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including Mild Steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair PVC (SWR) Nahani trap plain of dia 75mm with grating including jointing with solvent cement ,complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of building materials i.e debris and earth obtained from demolition or excavation including loading and unloading and stacking at the destination to outside of MOD Land , distance upto 60 KM as per BMC guidelines complete all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.
