Pressure parts and non Pressure parts Attending Breakdown works, Up keeping of Main Boiler & Aux Boiler :

Opening of required area Man Hole doors for inspection / carry out routine / break down works from inside Boiler / to facilitate providing furnace inspection / working plat forms, sky climbers in Boiler 1st & 2nd pass from 10 m to 95 m elevation and closing of Man Hole doors as per the instruction of Engineer In-charge

Charges for identifying the Boiler Tube leak, numbering the puncture tube, inspecting the near by area tubes for any secondary damage. Air cleaning / Water washing the Tube Puncture area to facilitate boiler Tube rectification works. Also inspection and identifying any tube leak in other areas of Boiler during Hydro Test

Transporting, Leading & lifting of platform materials including sky climber material such as power cables, hoist to 12.5 m & transporting of ropes to 88 m elevations and providing temporary platform inside furnace at 12.5 m level ( width of the Furnace 20.7 m) to facilitate assembling of Sky climber inside the Boiler. Removing the platform material & transporting Ropes, sky climber material and storing after completion of work

Assembling and dismantling of Sky climber such as sky climber maintenance platform, Electrical Hoist / air motors, ropes and power cable / air connections for one time in 11 mtr inside the Boiler .

Charges for shifting the sky climber inside the furnace to access the Platen super-heater coils / Super Heater Divisional Panelete assembly.

Charges for operation of sky climber as per the requirements to assist for various inspection such as Boiler cleaning, tube thickness survey, Burner corners, L-SOFA, H-SOFA, Furnace spiral wall tubes, Vertical wall tubes, Wall Blowers, SH divisional & Platen assembly etc., and for attending tube leak, tube membrane/fin welding etc., during the maintenance work period

Transporting of tools and plants such as welding machine, cutting gas cylinders, cutting set, Argon gas cylinder, TIG set, grinding machine, tube cutting & chambering machine, welding rod pre-heater, 24 volt lighting set, Pre Heating & PWT/SR equipment, DP Kit, consumables like special welding electrodes, TIG filler wire etc., Cutting of defective portion of tubes, edge preparation, new tube spool piece fit up in position, welding with IBR welder, Welding the HP joint with full TIG / root by TIG welding and balance by arc as per the IBR specifications.

Charges for cleaning the surface area of Fin / Membrane by soft grinding, surface preparation and HP welding

Skin casing and Refractory works : 'This work involves removing the skin casing, refractory by Cutting, the existing skin casing sheet wherever required, welding with new / same skin casing sheets, after arrest the ash leakage by applying refractory. This including the cost of consumables scaffolding arrangements and T&P’s.

Transport, Erection of scaffolding and working metal platforms outside the Boiler where ever required to facilitate to carry out inspection / repair works and dismantling the same after completion of work, transporting back to storage area.

Removal and re-fixing of Aluminum / G.P sheets / G.I. Corrugated sheet over Boiler sides to facilitate inspection / Boiler tube renewal works.

Removal and renewal of insulation mineral wool mattress at Boiler area to facilitate inspection / Boiler tube renewal works.

Renewal of Mixing Sphere, Flash tank, Drain tank man hole doors gasket including supply of gasket.

Attending to minor repair works in Boiler safety valves by dismantling, cleaning, inspection and changing / lapping of spare parts and fixing back with out change of spring load setting.

Attending to defects in sample coolers like chock releasing, SS coil puncture, body patch welding etc.,

Attending to minor defects in Dozing pumps, Drain pumps, Feed Pumps in Main Boiler & at Aux Boiler areas.

Up Keeping of all Boiler Floors, Buck stays, Columns, Beams, Steam Separators, SST, Collecting & Mixing spears, Flash Tank, Steam & other lines by air blowing / Sweeping and disposing thro' debris chute and removing the same from 0 m floor to low lying areas as per the instructions of Engineer in-charge. Cleaning of all Valves, pumps, equipments etc., Cleaning of Oil at Oil operating floor, Burner corner areas, Oil Gun cleaning bench areas, pipe racks in Boiler area, APRDS area, up keeping of Aux Boiler floors and etc.,

Attending to any minor defects / inspection in Aux Boiler such as opening manhole Doors, soot blowing defects , Valves defects, Air damper defects, IAC & SAC lines leak, HSD leak, Boiler drums, flash tank defects, Steam / water leaks attending related to Aux Boiler lines or any other routine, preventive works, inspection during Hydro test, assisting for Boiler preservation as per the Instructions of Engineer In-charge.

Up keeping and Routine maintenance of Air Pre Heater A & B

Charges for up keeping, routine maintenance of APH A & B and its allied equipments, such as thorough cleaning of equipments, lubricating, checking of oil level, topping up of oil, cleaning of filters, tightening of all fasteners, checking of cooling water flow, changing of perished gaskets, oil seals etc., checking and ensuring the function of APH soot blowers, checking and adjusting of sector plate and radial plate, inspection and correction of fluid coupling alignment, attending defects in APH drive gear box including replacement, monitoring of APH system round the clock and ensuring the trouble free running of Air Pre Heater system A & B including lead, lift, etc.,

Charges for attending primary or Secondary air leakage or air ingression in APH's duct portions, expansion bellows, static seals, centre section plates, Hot SA ducts, wind boxes etc., including lead, lift etc.,

Attending Preventive / Breakdown maintenance work and rectification of minor repair works in ESP and its accessories including up keeping of ESP CERM & EERM floors

Charges for condition monitoring of ESP fields, checking the operation of collecting & emitting rapping mechanism (CERM & EERM), maintaining oil level and attending minor oil leak in ESP CERM & EERM Gear box: This work involves condition monitoring of ESP fields, checking CERM & EERM operations, maintaining oil level by top-up to normal level and attending minor oil leak in ESP CERM & EERM Gear box as directed by the Engineer in charge. Including the consumables and T&P's.

Charges for rectification of field short: This work involves opening of CERM Floor inspection doors, thorough inspection of collecting and emitting electrodes of ESP fields. Renewal of defective emitting electrodes and aligning gap between collecting electrodes by U guide and welding / Plate bending and ensure the emptiness of respective ESP Hoppers) as directed by the Engineer in charge. Opening of hopper bottom manhole doors for inspection. Conduct Test charge for fields and normalizing to the satisfactory operation. Including the consumables and T&P's.

Charges for manual opening and closing of Guillotine gates of ESP inlet and outlet: This work involves arrangement of tools & plants for closing electrically in - operative gates and operate manually to isolate the pass to facilitate and to attend the field short while ID fan / Unit is in service as directed by the Engineer in charge. Opening and normalising the gates after completion of field rectification work. Including the consumables and T&P's.

Charges for inspection of ESP internals and attending minor repair works in single pass: This work involves thorough inspection and checking the operation of all collecting & emitting rapping mechanism and attending minor repair works during unit shutdown/isolation of any single pass of ESP. Including the consumables and T&P's.

Charges for renewal of CERM / EERM Gear Box oil seal: This work involves removal of CERM / EERM gear box from its bed and removal of coupling from the gear box output shaft, dismantle the end cover and replacing the worn out oil seal, reassembling the end cover plate, re fixing of coupling and normalising the system. Including the consumables and T&P's.

Charges for releasing of defective CERM Gear box assembly and repositioning new / reconditioned gear box assembly: This work involves disconnecting and releasing of defective CERM gear box assembly from its position at 13 mtr elevation and shifted to zero mtr elevation .Leading and Lifting the new / reconditioned gear box assembly from zero mtr to 13 mtr elevation for fixing of original position and normalising the system to complete. Including the consumables and T&P's.

Charges for releasing of defective EERM Gear box assembly and repositioning new/reconditioned gear box assembly: This work involves disconnecting and releasing of defective EERM gear box assembly from its position at 30 mtr elevation and shifted to zero mtr elevation .Leading and Lifting the new/reconditioned gear box assembly from zero mtr to 30 mtr elevation for fixing of original position and normalising the system to complete. Including the consumables and T&P's.

Charges for welding of eroded and weaken welding joints in ESP internal structural frames: This work involves complete inspection of welding joints in collecting & emitting electrode structural frames, ESP inner casing wall and welding of eroded weaken joints (metal filling by welding). Including consumables and T&P's.

Charges for cleaning of deposited ash and debris from ESP collecting and emitting rapping mechanisms and its surrounding areas at 12m and 30m elevation respectively including T&P's and consumables.

Up keeping routine maintenance and attending minor repair works in ID FD PA fans its accessories

Charges for cleaning of deposited ash and debris from ID, FD & PA fans and Lube oil pump stations and its surrounding areas and PA, FD & FG ducts outside the boiler structure all the ducts upto chimney to be cleaned weekly twice including T&P's and consumables.

Charges for inspection and attending minor repair works in ID, FD & PA fans and its accessories as directed by the Engineer in charge including hire charges for T&P's and the cost of consumables.

Up keeping routine and breakdown maintenance works in guillotine gates biplane louver Dampers of boiler flue gas primary air secondary air ducts Boiler burner tilting of all corners SADC Dampers

Superficial cleaning such as cleaning with air hose, removal of ash and coal deposits and woolen / Insulation wastes materials, applying grease / penetrating solvents, remove dirts in pins, drive and driven stuffing boxes, chains, linkages, levers, sprocket in all the louver dampers, biplane dampers, guillotine gates, burner tilting etc., to keep them in service conditions continuously, including consumables and T&Ps.

Charges for dismantling the actuators and gear boxes assembly from the gate and bring down to '0' mtr repair bay area and dismantling the gear box from actuator, checking the internals (Gears, links, gear shafts, connectors, etc.,) and renewing the worn out parts, oil seals etc and assembling the actuator and gear box and checking the operation and lifting and fixing the original position including consumables and T&Ps.

Charges for servicing and rectification of actuator's gear box mechanism in dampers: This work involves decoupling the gear box from it's actuator, shifting to repair bay area, dismantling and checking the internals (centre column, yoke, clutch ring assembly, oil seals and limit switch drive shaft etc.,) cleaning, servicing, rectifying the fault in mechanism and assembling, coupling the actuator with gear box and checking the damper operation by manually and normalizing the system including consumables and T&Ps.

Attending breakdown maintenance works of Wind Box Secondary Air Dampers (SAD) of all boiler corners: This work involves mechanical cleaning SAD external link mechanism / flap plates inside the wind box, disconnecting link mechanism from actuators, removing of SAD flap centre shaft end seal gland nuts and packing, mechanical cleaning of gland sealing area, renewal of gland packing and reassembling the gland nut, welding of broken link, inspecting the SAD operation manually and reconnecting with actuator link mechanism, conducting trial run and normalizing the SADC operation including necessary consumables, Tools and Plants etc.,.

Attending breakdown maintenance works of boiler burner tilting Mechanism: This work involves arresting of burner titling mechanism by Chain block, releasing of Burner tilting mechanism Tie rod link from Power cylinder and actuating the tie rod links up / Down by using chain block and arresting the burners compartment assembly to the required tilt position by using lock pins and reconnecting including consumables, Tools and Plants.

Manual opening of one No Actuator gear box failed inlet or outlet Guillotine gate of ESP or ID fan or outlet Guillotine gate of FD or PA fans by welding the hook at the top of the Guillotine gate frame, arresting the Chain block at the top of the Guillotine gate frame in the hook by mean of sling, lifting the Guillotine gate by chain block for full open condition and arresting of lifted Guillotine gate with frame by mean of Slings and releasing of chain block

Operation and up keeping of Boiler Goods cum passenger lift RHS LHS for 24 hrs in a day

Operation of Lift /day: This work involves operation of 1 x 800 MW Unit Boiler lift LHS or RHS which ever Lift is available for Operation or as per the site requirement and as per the instructions of Engineer In-charges from 0 mtr to 88 mtr elevation on 24 hrs basis and Rescue the passengers if any breakdown or power supply failure.

Up keeping of boiler lift & head room : This work involves cleaning the car inside, Sill and machine room, motor, rope brakes, etc., as directed by the field Engineer

Cleaning of car shaft components: This work involves cleaning, greasing and oiling the car door shaft components
