Excavation in foundations, trenches etc. in all kinds of earth work including spade work, pick work, jumper work blasting work including where blasting is prohibited and chiselling/wedging out of rock etc. upto all lifts stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 metres clear from the edge of the excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layer when required into plinths, sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth within all leads and lifts as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement:2 Sand:4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth including carriage of material within all leads and lifts.

Steel work welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting hoisting fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint in gratings, framed, guards, bars ladders and railing, brackets and similar works including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts.

Random rubble masonry / polygonal rubble masonry (uncoursed / brought to courses) with hard stone of approved quality in foundation and plinth in cement mortor 1:6 (1 cement :6 sand) in breast walls and retaining walls including carriage of material within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying chequred tiles of approved size, shade and design in flooring treads of steps laid on a bed of 12mm thick cement mortar 1:6 (1cement: 6sand) finished with white cement including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.

Painting two coats (excluding priming coat) on new steel and other metal surface with enamel paint to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of dirt, dust and other foreign matter, sand papering and stopping including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts :-With enamel paint other than white.
