Supplying, installing, testing & commissioning of factory assembled Diesel Engine driven generating set coupled with alternator AC to Give continuous output of 50 KVA/40 KW at a power factor of 0.8 lagging, 415 volts, AC, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ, 1500 RPM, directly coupled with diesel engine water cooled, mounted on common base frame complete with in built fuel tank (service tank) of adequate capacity with fuel line, accessories, PCC foundation work as per manufacturer's instructions, vibration damper pads, micro processor based relay panel for automatic starting on mains failure, control panel showing all parameters of engine & alternator, sound proof canopy & other accessories etc. and confirming to the under-mentioned technical specifications confirming to BS:5514 & IS 10000 complete in all respect with following accessories, parts all as specified & directed. (a) DIESEL ENGINE : 4 cylinders , turbo charged air cooled at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions BS 5514, IS 10000 conforming to with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in 12 hrs of continuous operation with the following accessories Make:M/S Kirloskar Engine model No- 4R810TA G1 and equivalent in Cummins/Ashok Leyland / Greaves Power (i) Radiator with blower fan or heat exchanger with guard. (ii) Pipe coupling for engine cooling system piping (iii) Corrosion inhibitor coolant (iv) Paper element filters-(i) Fuel (ii) Lube oil (iii) By Pass (vi) Fly wheel housing and fly wheel to suit (vii) Engine bearing mechanism in fly wheel housing (viii) shut off coil with safety for LLOP /HWT./ Over speed. (ix) Dry type air cleaners and vacuum indicators . (x) Residential silencers. (xi) Stainless steel exhaust flexible bellows. (xii) Motor driven priming pump. (xiii) 12V Electric starter Motor (xiv) Battery charging alternator. (xv) Exhaust piping made out of STIC C class MS Pipe inclusive of all accessories and hardware , necessary support as per manufacturer’s recommendations to sustain back pressure with rain cap (xvi) Mineral wool insulation 2 inch thick covered with aluminium sheets of 30 gauges for the entire length of exhaust pipe. (xvii) First fill of oil coolant and diesel during commission and 12 hours testing. (xviii) Interconnecting copper cabling of adequate capacity between batteries and controller. (xix) Fuel pipe. Fuel Tank_ 8 hours full load diesel storage capacity inbuilt fuel tank with mounting brackets factory fabricated made of MS sheet with level indicator fuel inlet , fuel outlet , air vent, drain plug,inlet arrangement filling from exterior of canopy etc. (t) Battery :- 120 AH,12 Volts maintenance free battery of Qty-1 Nos with leads and terminal. Make-OEM Specified (xx) PCC Foundation :- Civil work and PCC foundation for installation DG Set as per manufacturers instruction.

(b) ALTRERNATOR : 50 KVA/40 KW at 0.8 PF lagging, 415 volts, 3 Phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz at 1500 RPM self excited and self regulated with AVR brushless excitation band of voltage ± 1% of rated voltage from no load to full load insulation class H, IP-23 self ventilated and conforming to BS 2613 , IS 4722 suitable for above mentioned diesel engine complete all as specified and directed . (c) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE : Factory made acoustic enclosure (canopy) having size not less than 2500mm lengthX1150mm widthX1535 mm height for the above 50 KVA DG set to reduce noise level to 75 db (A), measured at 1.00, meter distance @75% load auditable frequencies as per guidelines of CPCB & comprising of following-: (i) Sound proof insulation 100mm thick Rock wool (Density 65 Kg/cum) (ii) Outer body: Not less than 1.6 mm thick CRCA. (iii) Door 1.6 mm thick CRCA (iv) Inner surface: 1.0 mm thick powder coated & perforated CRCA / GI sheet (v) Common base frame: ISMC 250

Notes :- (a) Any civil work required for installation of DG set LT panel at site shall be deemed to be included into item quoted rate (b) Contractor shall submit the detailed specification, particular Model, Make and literature alongwith Drg. For approval of Accepting officer before placing of order. (c) The width (Internal depth) of AMF Panel should not be less than 450mm. (d) The capacity and the make of DG Set, switch gear, accessories and other items to be incorporated into AMF Panel board shall be as mentioned in Sch 'A' / in the list of makes attached and be got approved on the Drg including with internal wiring diagram of LT panel. Before placing the order. (e) The contractor shall inform GE for pre-despatch inspection at factory premises. The factory inspection and testing shall be carried out by the nominated rep. of accepting officer. The inspection & testing at work site after installation arrangement shall be made by contractor and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by contractor. Testing shall be carried out using 3phase electric load panel only.

Supply, laying in trenches/ducts/along wall/through pipes etc, testing and commissioning LT cable, XLPE insulated, galvanized steel strip armoured, 1100Volts grade with multistranded aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 25 sqmm,4 core including making cable connections by providing necessary aluminium lugs duly crimped properly and stainless steel glands,nuts,bolts and washers etc complete in all respects, as specified and directed. Note (i) The cable shall be in one length unless otherwise directed by the GE. (iii) Make - ( ISI Marked) of ( Havells/polycab/KEI/Finolex)

Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600mm x 6.3 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 Mtr below ground level with the top edge of earth plate at depth not less than 1.5 Mtr below ground level connected to galvanised iron strip 24 X 4 mm by means of bolts, washers ,watering pipe 20mm dia, medium grade GI pipe, with welded funnel and wire mesh and 40mm dia medium grade GI pipe with fitting as protection pipe for strip from plate electrode to test point / plant / machineries etc. including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-I having outer dimension 60cmx60cmx60cm and internal dimension 30cmx30cmx30cm, precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover slab of size 350x350x50mm reinforced with 8mm dia deformed bares @15 cm centre to centre both direction and 10 mm dia MS handle of suitable size charcoal or coke and salt in alternative layers, necessary earth work in soft/loose soil all as show in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part I and testing complete all as specified and as directed.
