TTPS Operation Circle MPM II ACP Reconditioning of released chiller unit from Compressor A at Unit IV V AC Plant

Charges for dismantling the both side end covers by removing / cutting the bolt & nuts. Removing all copper tubes 19mm OD length 3.048mtr, Qty 600 Nos., cutting and removing the end tube sheet plates at both side size OD 780mm dia thick 32mm materials MS and baffle sheets.

Charges for cleaning of inner & outer surface of shell of chiller by sand blasting, removing all erosions, grinding of welding portion, cleaning of grooves the fixing portions of baffle plates, painting the inner & outer surface of shell by anti corrosive paints, the rates including all consumables T&P hire charges etc., as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

a)Charges for fixing / welding of tube sheets end plates OD 900mm thick 38mm Qty 2Nos. material MS after providing tube fixing holes Qty of holes 1200Nos. dia 19mm by drilling and grooving or reaming as per the direction of engineer in charge. b) Fixing the end tube sheet plate (2Nos.) at both sides OD 900mm thick 38mm qty. 2Nos.

Charges for provision of groove on the outer side of copper tubes (OD 19mm thick1mm Length 3048mm) for improving the heat transfer, including the cost of materials, T&P and consumables.

Charges for fixing of tubes 600Nos OD 19mm thick 1mm in baffle and tube sheet end plates including baffle plates, end plates reaming and testing of tubes as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Charges for fixing the end covers at both sides of the chiller after providing suitable gaskets and fixing the HT bolt & nuts (size 24mm X 100mm) tightening the bolt & nut admitting water after inside of the shell and special testing for 7Kg /cm2 and also admitting the N2 in the copper tubes total number of 600 at a pressure 300PST and kept out checked condition for about 48hours, after confirming the withstanding of the pressure by N2 gas and water should be released from the chiller as per the direction of engineer in charge. (The rates are including the consumables like N2 gas, T&P hire charges and also pressure testing equipments etc.,)

Materials Under Contractors Scope:- Tube Sheet end plate material MS, OD 900mm, Thick 32mm [After deduction of scrap value]

Materials Under Contractors Scope:- HT Bolt size 24mm X 100mm

Materials Under Contractors Scope:- Gasket [steam gasket] thickness 3mm

Materials Under Contractors Scope:- Transporting of chiller unit from TTPS to Chennai including to & fro cost and insurance cost
