REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE AND LOAD TESTING OF HOT/EOT CRANE AND MOTORISED DOOR INSTALLATION AT HEMRL UNDER GE (I) RnD PASHAN

Material and labour for Disconnecting and removing damaged gears, bearings etc of main drive gear assembly for servicing, repair including loading / unloading and transporting to nearest work shop including refixing connecting commissioning and testing in position after carry out necessary repair/ replacement and following items all as specified and as directed Notes: (i) S&F both side ball bearing with existing size and make as per numbers specified by OEM including dismantling taking out old unserviceable bearing gear assembly complete. (ii) Repair/Replacement of worn out gear assembly (iii) Replacement of both side oil seals & used gear oil of approved make and grade. (iv) Dismantling/taking down of any part of the crane which is not accessible from the upper surface of the crane, the contracor shall arrange suitable ladder/scaffolding and the rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. Note : Contractors are advised to visit site before quoting the rates.

Comprehensive maintenance consisting of normal repairs, Periodical and preventive maintenance and attending day-to-day break down / complaints of following equipments complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (a) Manually operated chain pulley block any type of capacity 0.5 Ton to 5 Ton = 12 nos

All as per item No. 2 here in before but for Electrically operated over head travelling (EOT) cranes of capacity 2 Ton up to 5 Ton

All as per item No. 2 here in before but for Electrically operated over head travelling (EOT) Flame proof cranes of capacity above 7.5 Ton up to 20 Ton NOTES FOR SCHEDULE A ITEM No. 2 to 5 (i) Any complaints regarding breakdown must be attended within 24 hours, failing to which an amount of Rs 250/- per day on subsequent days will be recovered from RARs. In case of major repair / problems beyond the scope of contract, contractor has to intimate the department within 48 hours failing to which a recovery as per clauses mentioned above will be affected. (iii) Major defects such as Long Traval /Cross Traval and hoist motor rewinding, replacment of faulty bearings, shaft and gear assy / VFD failure / Soft starter electronic cards etc does not includes in this cost. In case of major problems beyond the scope of contract the same has to intimate to the department within 48 hours failing to which are recovery as per clauses mentioned above in note (i) will be affected. (iv) Materials like MCCBs, shoe brakes, brake drums, contractors relays, steel wire sopes, etc. required for repairing will be supplied and paid separately under relevant items of schedule as supply only . (v) The quoted rate include the cleaning of cranes of different capacity, cleaning of respective tracks and busbars. (vi) repair/servicing to crane LT panels, thrusher, brakes, electric motors,gresing of steel ropes,limit switches,pendent push buttons complete on monthly basis. (vii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive all the clothing, safty equipment and other T & P required for carrying out the repairs / maintence. The contractor has to liase with the department in case of taking of electric shutdown of each machinery and has to make the machinery functional of the carrying out maintenance.

Testing at full load test, deflection test, capacity test, speed test and break test and serviceability checking of each cranes and hoist by authorized person in presence of Engr-in-Charge, JEEM and User's representative and test certificate with list of defects if any to be produced in duplicate. The capacities of cranes, hoists to be tested are as under :- (a) Manually operated chain pulley block any type of capacity 1.5 Ton to 5 Ton

(iii) The Load test report as per Proforma at 100% load for all motions from recognized persons as specified in Note (ii) above duly signed by user also. (iv) Load testing is inclusive of shifting / transporting the load place to place, unloading will be arranged by the contractor including required ropes, man power etc., for handling the load.
