Comprehensive Annual Maintenance including rectification of any faults of various Fire Alarm Systems installed at DMRL, ATC Devatalagutta and Anurag lab as and when occurs including checking, testing, cleaning of Smoke Detectors, Heat Detectors, Beam Masters, Hooters, Manual Call Points etc. by carrying out preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance by rectifying defects in existing system and making the entire system trouble free and efficient functioning with all accessories connected to the Fire Alarm systems complete all as directed.

Comprehensive Annual Maintenance including rectification of any faults of various Fire Alarm Systems installed at DLRL & MLCP at DLRL, area including checking, testing, cleaning of Smoke Detectors, Heat Detectors, Beam Masters, Hooters, Manual Call Points, spirit bulbs etc. by carrying out preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance rectifying defects in existing system and making the entire system trouble free and efficient functioning with all accessories connected to the Fire Alarm systems complete all as directed.

Note: (i) Spares if any required shall be measured and paid under the relevant items of schedule and cost of labour/Fire fighting Technician/ Engineer, element like Tools/Eqpt, cleaning agents etc are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) The preventive maintenance schedule shall be as follows:- (a) MONTHLY - Checking of all cards (control card, zone card, fail card, charger card etc) in control panel for their healthly working condition. Testing of all zones by checking smoke detectors at random with smoke testing of Hooters and MCPs. (b) QUARTERLY - cleaning of all smoke detectors, heat detectors, response indicators, hooters, MCPs and Beam mastars and testing of all smoke detectors with smoke and heat detectors with heat. (iii) Service report is to be generated for the above monthly and quarterly maintenance for all the systems and submitting to Engr-in- Charge. (iv) Brakedown should be rectified as and when the system brakes down.

Taking down old unserviceable hydrant hose pipe and Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Hydrant hose pipe, 63 mm dia and 2x15 mtrs long RRL type with Gunmetal 63 mm size male coupling at one end and female coupling at the other end. It should with stand a burtsting pressure of 450 psi, rot proofed, with ISI mark. Hose shall comply to IS 636

Cutting and removing the burnt out winding conductors rewinding the same with same gauge and weight of insulated super enamelled copper conductor and providing cotton insulated sleeves, varnishing, drying, refixing in position checking the alignment along with pump set connecting up with the electrical system, testing and commissioning complete all as directed.

(iv) A willingness letter from the above referred OEMs shall be uploaded with tender documents else the tender shall be treated as non bonafied and MOU from the same shall be submitted to the department within 10 days of placing of Work Order.

Outsourcing of services for attending electrical complaints lodged at MES Complaint cell from users of ANURAG & DSC Kanchanbagh by way of receiving the complaints from users and update the same as and when rectified and submitting completion report duly signed by the occupants including electrical repair work of any defective wiring in buildings, service connection cables, main switches, DB’s replacing fuses and switching on/off of street lights including checking repair and maintenance to LT/ HT over head lines, UG Cables, feeder pillar boxes, bus bars GOD’s etc connected with external electric supply during the shift periods as mentioned below on all the days including Sundays and holidays complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Attending all HT/LT installations as indicated in the above location in one shift from 0800hr to 1600 hrs - One Electrician and one helper per shift. Note for item Nos.41 & 42: 1. Contractor shall quoted basic rate, employers contribution towards EPF liability, contribution towards ESIC, contribution towards bonus, over head and profit and Labour welfare Cess (LWC) separately as applicable as per instruction in vogue in respective sub items including all Taxes, Cess, Levies as applicable including GST. 2. Any quoted rate against items/ sub items mentioned corresponds to/work out lower than the corresponding prevailing minimum rates of wages/subscription/contribution towards EPF,ESIC, Bonus and LWC shall be treated as non-bonafide and such bid shall not be considered for acceptancce the prevailing rate/wage/contribution shall be as applicable on the bid submission end date. 3. Contribution towards EPF, ESIC, Bonus shall only be payable after submission of valid & authentic document in support of proof of payment and authenticated by Engineer-in-charge.

4. The rate quoted for items of outsourcing shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Government of India/concerned state Government/Local Body, whichever is higher and also not less than applicable rates for contribution of employer towards EPF, contribution to ESIC, contribution of Bonus and LWC under respective heading/sub-items. In case the rates quoted are less than the prevalling rates/instructions under any heading(s), the bid will be treated as non bonafide/ invalid, shall be disqualified and such bids will not be considered for acceptance. In such case, the lowest bidder shall be determined from amongst the valid/ bonafide bids only. 5. Quotations with 'Nil' or "Zero" consideration (overhead and profit) shall be considered non bonafide.

6. Any variation in minimum wage, liability of EPF/ESIC/Bonus/ LWC/GST shall be adjusted for reimbursement/ Recovery as under:- (i) Variation in minimum wage including other related statutory provisions shall be adjusted in tems of condition 63 of GCC (IAFW-2249). (ii) Variation in percentage/ rate of GST and LWC shall be adjusted as per instructions in Annexure XVI of MES Manual on Contracts which deals with "Reimbursement/ Refund on Variation in Taxes Directly Related to Contract Value. (iii) Rates shall be quoted only upto two digits after decimal. If any rate quoted/ derived by the contractor works out to more than two digits after decimal, then the same shall be rounded off upto two digits after decimal. The rounding off shall be done in accordance with rules for rounding off of Numerical Values in accordance with IS: 02 pf 1960 (Revised 2016) of BIS.

7. Monthly wages shall be paid by the contractor to the workers/labour only online. Proof of statutory deductions in favour of workers/labour shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE. The contractor will be required to submit copy of valid labour licence from the labour Commissioner within 15 days of commencement of the work. If the contractor fails to submit the same within this stipulated period the contact shall be liable to be cancelled and the performance Secuirty of the firm shall be forfeited accordingly. Reference is also invited to this HQ letter No.A/37696/Gen/Pol/E2W(PPC) dated 27 July 2017 as amended vide letter of even No. dated 09 May 2018.

Note for item Nos.41 & 42: (a) In case of requirement, tradesmen provided for one area may be utilised in other areas at the discretion of the department without any extra cost to department. (b) Tools & plants shall be provided by contractor. (c) Temporary laying of LTUG cable of any size and any lenth for restoration of supply during break down / other requirement is deemed to be included in the above quoted rate. (d) Complaint register and Compalint slip books as per site requirement shall be provided by the contractor and thecost of the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(d) Uniform shall be provided by the contractor.(e) Deparmental equipments of each installation, shall be under safe custody . In case of theft of any item from installation recovery shall be made from the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-charge. (f) Group insurance for the operators shall be made by the contractor. Documents shall be submitted to the department. (g) In case of absence of operator ,double the rate quoted shall be recovered. (h) Qualification / Experience certificate (minimum 05 years) with age not more than 60 Years of all staff employed shall be submitted.

(j) The contractor should submit the ID Proof, Bank Account No of Operator/ Person Employed, payment shall be made thorough Bank A/c only. The payment shall not be less than minimum fair wages. (k) The contractor shall take over the installations from the existing contractor through the department in good running condition. (l) Rate quoted shall be deemed to include for restoration of jumpers, HT fuses using existing resources during short circuits due to wind/rain in the premises of MRS to restore the supply for incoming and outgoing feeders. (m) Rate quoted shall be deemed to include for leave/reserve of staff. (n) The contractor should pay minimum bonus as per labour law to his staff emplyed/operatos, and the cost shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate.
