CLEANING/MAINTENANCE OF OVERHEAD RESERVOIR, UG SUMP, RISING MAIN DISTRIBUTION AND OTHER CONNECTED ASSOCIATED WORKS UNDER AOR OF UNDER GE (AF) SRINAGAR

Amount

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 M wide and n.exc 1.5 M depth and getting out for laying of cable / pipe etc in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing of excavated soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for Item 1 to 3:- Excavation & earthwork required for taking down / laying / re-laying of GI / CI / DI pipe shall be measured under thease items.

Taking up 150 mm bore CI / DI water mains (including all fittings) by disconnecting, spigot and socket ends and flanged ends including proper taking off complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Taking up 100 mm bore CI / DI water mains (including all fittings) by disconnecting, spigot and socket ends and flanged ends including proper taking off complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and lay in trenches 150 mm bore ductile iron pipes, socket and Spigot ends, ISI marked Centrifugally Cast (Spun) Ductile Iron Pressure pipes conforming to IS:8329/2000 classification K-7 rating, suitable for push-on-joint (Rubber gasket-D jointing) with cement mortor lining inside the pipes and outside zinc coating with Bituminous finish coat as per IS:8329 / 2000 including provision of EPDM rubber joints conforming IS: 5382 of 1985 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. ( Excavation and earthwork measured and paid separately)

Supply and laying for CI pipes of 100 mm bore diameter with Spigot and Socket ends centrifugally cast, Class LA, in any length laid in trenches all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge Note:- (i) Run lead joint will be measured & paid seperatly.

Refixing only 150 mm bore cast iron water mains (including all fittings) with Spigot socket ends or flanged ends , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Old pipe retrived vide BOQ item No 4 shall be reused. (ii) Run lead joint will be measured & paid seperatly.

Refixing only 100 mm bore cast iron water mains (including all fittings) with Spigot socket ends or flanged ends , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Old pipe retrived vide BOQ item No 5 shall be reused. (ii) Run lead joint will be measured & paid seperatly.

M&L for Run lead joints for 150 mm bore spigot & socketed type cast iron Pipes and caulking the joints properly , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for Run lead joints for 100 mm bore spigot & socketed type cast iron Pipes and caulking the joints properly , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for repairing old run lead joint by burning & removing old run lead from 150 mm bore spigot & socketed Cast iron pipe, in any position, filling the same joint by reusing 50% old run lead and balance new run lead, caulking the joints properly to arrest leakage etc, including necessary earth work, excavation as required, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for repairing old run lead joint by burning & removing old run lead from 100 mm bore spigot & socketed Cast iron pipe, in any position, filling the same joint by reusing 50% old run lead and balance new run lead, caulking the joints properly to arrest leakage etc, including necessary earth work, excavation as required, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and fix 200 mm size sluice valve, long body type of pressure rating PN-1.6 with stainless steel spindle, both end flanged, ISI marked complete with cast iron wheel, nut, bolt, washer, rubber packing etc., confirming to IS-14846-2000 including taking down old valve complete.

Supply and fix 150 mm size sluice valve, long body type of pressure rating PN-1.6 with stainless steel spindle, both end flanged, ISI marked complete with cast iron wheel, nut, bolt, washer, rubber packing etc., confirming to IS-14846-2000 including taking down old valve complete.

Cleaning of OHT (Overhead tank) approx 18 m stagging removing sludge / sand / dirt manually by wash out through outlet to a distance not less than 50 m from the OHR, cleaning the OHR from inside with bleached water and washing with sodium hydrochloride liquid drying and applying one coat of lime wash internally, spraying anti bacteria liquid , complete all as specified and writing date of cleaning on outer wall in yellow/black paint in a box 60 cm x 30 cm and directed by Engineer-in- Charge for following :-

Cleaning of UG raw water sump and removing sludge / sand / dirt manually / by sludge removing pump and apply one coat of lime wash internally including disposing the sludge outside MoD land at LALGAM PUMP HOUSE complete all as specified and writing date of cleaning on outer wall in yellow/black paint in a box 60cmx30cm and directed by Engineer-in- Charge for following :-

Cleaning of UG clean water sump and removing sludge/ sand/ dirt manually/ by sludge removing pump to a distance not less than 50m from the sump cleaning the sumps with bleached water and washing with sodium hydrochloride liquid, drying and apply one coat of lime wash internally complete all as specified and writing date of cleaning on outer wall in yellow/black paint in a box 60cmx30cm and directed by Engineer-in- Charge for following :-

Cleaning of filter bed of size 6 metre x 2 meter x 1 meter deep with pressure water jet, removing rubbish / debries / deposited mud / other foreign materials etc, cleaning entire internal surface with brush, cleaning the choked holes repairing the hole by applying cement slurry and finaly cleaning the filter bed with fresh water complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Cleaning and preparation of old decorated surface of filters tanks (area 125 sqm approx) and applying two coats of white wash on wall surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Dewatering the floculator of size 5.33 m dia and 4m deep for cleaning the mud and slushy water manually or by using pumping set and disposal of the same at 50 mtr away from the filtration plant including cleaning of wall, floor and bridge structure after chipping, scraping of structure and scraper blades angle iron with wire brush and steel patti and emery paper including painting to steel surfaces with a coat of black bitumen paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Removing mud / silt from 5.5 meter dia & 4.5 metre depth Sedimentation Tank, Clarifier, Channels and drains etc. and disposal of the same to a distance not exc 50 meter from the staring point, cleaning entire internal surafce carefully with appropriate tools and washing whole tank with alum ferric grade-II water and thereafter with bleaching powder complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix 150 mm size cast iron Non return valve heavy duty ISI marked including flanged joints with packing materials, nuts, bolts, etc including taking down old valve complete.

Supply and fix 100 mm size cast iron Non return valve heavy duty ISI marked including flanged joints with packing materials, nuts, bolts, etc including taking down old valve complete.

Supply and fix 150 mm size cast iron foot valve with one side flanged end including rubber insertion sheet, nut bolt washer including taking down old valve complete

Supply and fix 100 mm size cast iron foot valve with one side flanged end including rubber insertion sheet, nut bolt washer including taking down old valve complete
