S&F cover of pressed steel overhead water tank made out of MS sheet 5.0mm thick, MS flat, angle iron of suitable size by cutting welding providing hinges, handle, hold fast and grouting including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide, zinc chrome primer after preparation of new steel surfaces including taking down old unserviceable cover complete all as specified and as directed.

Developing tube well with air compressor of suitable capacity till sand/mud free water of potable quality to be obtained and to achieve maximum discharging capacity of 30000 GPH complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Compressor with accessories and fuel shall be arranged by the contractor.

M&L for cleaning and washing RCC overhead reservoir 1.5 lakhs gallon capacity internally installed at different locations at Dinjan, cleaning by brooming and rubbing with coir brush, taking out of silt/mud and washing with bleaching powder and water including applying one coat of lime and writing capacity of tank, date of cleaning, next due date complete all as specified and as directed .

All as per item No. 17 above but of capacity 1.00 lakh gallon.

M&L for brick masonry valve pit of size 90cm x 90cm x 90 cm (internal dimensions) including concrete work and construction of similar size valve pit with one brick thick wall in cement mortar (1:4) on 100mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded broken stone aggregate) as in foundation lean concrete, including PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in benching and coping and 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) internally and externally upto 15cm below ground level valve pit cover made out of 40x40x6mm angle iron frame all round fixed by means of 4 Nos holdfast 150mm long made out of flat iron 40x6mm embedded in PCC block (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of size 230x200x100mm including hinges welded with angle iron frame and MS cover 3mm thck sheet, MS handle of suitable length and size welded with MS cover and suitable locking arrangement and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including demolition of unserviceable/damaged valve pit complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint any description over 10cm in width or girth not otherwise described with colour as approved complete all as specified and as directed

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and pavings not exceeding 15cm thickness below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation of pipe supports/platform etc including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Note : Cost of temporary stagging/working platform as involved for the above operation each deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the tenderer.

M&L in replacement of bracing, supports, cleats, clamp, etc as per existing size and thickness fabricated from stuructural steel such as angles, flat, channel, etc as required of pressed steel tank and staging at 12mto 15 m height including cutting, drilling holes, welding as necessary to suit the site requirement and including two coat of lead free black bituminous paint suitable for drinking water internally and one coat of aluminium paint externally after preparation of steel surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in replacement of factory made pressed steel plate of size 1.22m x 1.22m x 5mm thick placed on existing position at 12 m to 15 m high staging of over head water tank including necessary jointing/connecting materials such as lead wool, rubber gasket, bituminous compound with & including (new) mild steel bolts, nuts, washers, etc as required at site to make the joints perfectly leak proof all as per manufacturer's insturctions and including painting with two coats lead free black bituminous paints suitable for drinking water internally and one coat of aluminium paint externally after preparation of steel surfaces complete and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Buildsworth or equivlant make as approved by GE)

Fixing only serviceable pressed steel plate obtained from item No. 41 above after necessary repair, adjustment, cleaning, washing etc and connecting with new jointing materials such as lead wool, rubber gasket, bituminous compound etc as required to make the joints perfectly leaf proof and testing for water tightness of the tank including 2 coats of black bitumenon paint internally and one coat of aluminium paint on external surfaces complete as directed the Engr-in-Charge. Note : (a) Old serviceable bolts & nuts obtained from item No. 41 above shall be reused after cleaning. (b) New bolts, nuts & washers wherever required as a replacement of old one as directed by the Engr-in-Charge shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply only" under relevant item.

Supply only machine made fully threaded bolts, nuts and washers made with hexagonal or square head at one end and screwed the other end or both ends to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, (dia of bolt 5 to 10 mm and length n.exc 5 cm) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repairing of old joints of plates in position by unscrewing the jointing bolts, taking out jointing materials such as lead wire/tapes, lead wool, gasket, bituminous compound and replacing as per existing size, gasket, lead wool, bituminous compound suitable for portable water and MS cleats wherever required and using nuts, bolts, washers etc complete to make of existing defective joints perfectly leak proof as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Note : New nuts, bolts and washer shall be paid separately as supply only under relevant items.

M&L in replacement of pressed steel plate of size 1.22m x 3.75m x 3mm thick including taking out jointing bolts, nuts, washers, etc from 10000 gallons over head pressed steel tank installed at 12 to 15 m high staging for repair, cleaning, replacement of unserviceable plates, etc and removing unserviceable plates from site and keeping serviceable plates, bolts & nuts in safe custody for reuse in the work all complete as required and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. (Note : Cost of temporary stagging/working platform as involved for the above operation in deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the tenderer)

S&F factory made pressed steel plate of size 1.22m x 3.75m x 3mm thick, placed on existing position at 12 m to 15 m high staging of over head water tank including necessary jointing /connecting materials such as lead wool, rubber gasket, bituminous compound with and including machine made (new) bolts, nuts, washers, etc as required at site to make the joints perfectly leaf proof all as per manufacturer's instructions and including painting with two coats of lead free black bituminous paints suitable for drinking water internally and one coat of aluminium paint externally after preparation of steel surfaces complete as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.
