REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT OF CERTAIN BUILDINGS IN THE AOR OF AGE B/R-II AF STN PALAM UNDER GE (AF) PALAM DELHI CANTT-10

Dismantling of roof/ terracing tiles/ brick tiles including existing treatment from roof such as tarfelt, cement plaster of any description and any thickness, mud phuska including flashing and junction of parapet up to 4th storey building and cleaning existing roof top surface by brooming, wire brushing and removing the debrish from site to outside MoD land complete.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar works including removing the debrish from site to outside MoD land complete.

Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes of any dia including all fittings (any size or pattern) and cleaning of pipe for refixing complete all as specified.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles and removing the debrish from site to outside MoD land complete.

M&L for disconnecting existing tanks exceeding 250 ltr but not exceeding 500 ltr, setting aside, cleaning and hoisting reconnecting and re-fixing in position complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note :The rate of necessary GI nipple of any size, long threaded barrel nipple shall be inclussive in the quoted rate of this item).

Dismantling of water tanks exc 250 & n exc 500 Ltrs capacity complete.

Taking up or down 15mm dia steel tubing with connections complete in walls, ceiling, floors etc including cleaning for re-fixing complete all as specified.

Taking up or down 20mm dia steel tubing with connections complete in walls, ceiling, floors etc including cleaning for re-fixing complete all as specified.

M&L for providing cement concrete, 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in roof padding to maintain the slope with water proofing compound @ 200ml/bag of cement or as per manufacturer's instruction complete.

M&L for 10 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with WPC @ 200ml/bag of cement or as per manufacturer's instruction over green concrete surfaces. (Note : Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately).

M&L for preparation of plastered/concrete surfaces of roof and applying the under mentioned course of roof treatement all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.:- (a) Surface shall be throughly wire brushed, cleaned, washed, dried up properly and apply evenly a bituminuous primer coat conforming to IS @0.4 ltr /Sqm over concrete / plastered roof surface. (b) Applying evenly a tack coat of bitumen 85/25 grade @1.20 kg/ sqm. (c) Laying of 3mm thick APP membrane sheet (min weight 3.6 Kg/Sqm) consisting of a core of 160 gms/Sqm polyster non woven fabric mat protected on both sides with a high quality polymeric asphaltic mix again protected with thermo fusible HMHDPE FILM on dried primed surface by torch application method. APP membrane will normally be laid in length at right angle to the direction of slope. The over lap shall be minimum 100mm on longitudinal direction and 150mm on the transverse direction including cuttings, grooves etc. (d) Membrane bonded completely to the substrate & the over laps are then scaled/fused by flame. (Note : (i) Water ponding test atleast for 72 Hours shall be carried out after final layer of roof treatment by the contractor. (ii) The contractor shall submit 10 years warranty against the roof treatment and security deposit @ 2% for 10 years from the date of completion of work. (iii) The contractor shall submit test certificate of APP Membrane (iv) The work shall be carried out by authorised applicator of manufacturer.)

M&L for fair cutting, chiseling, pinning in, n.exc 10cm width or girth on exposed surfaces of brickwork/ concrete work and making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges after insert APP membrane and properly sealed by tourch application complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

M&L for factory made cement concrete tiles 25cm x 25cm x 25mm thick machine pressed, set & pointed in neat cement slurry as in roof with grey cement and no pigment over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 complete.

M&L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in kerb/ gola along the wall complete.

Supply only liquid Water proofing compound

S&F for 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls including suitable clamps after every one meter of interval complete all as specified.

All as per item No 16 here-in-before but 75 mm bore pipe.

S&F in repair PVC (SWR) bends of radius 110mm dia fixed to PVC pipe.

All as per item No 18 here-in-before but 75 mm bore.

M&L for brick work with Sub class 'B' bricks (old Size Bricks), straight or curved on plan to any radius built in CM 1:6 complete.

All as per item No 20 above but except bricks (old serviceable bricks to be used).

M&L for 15 mm thick cement plaster on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:6 including finishing surface even and fair without using extra cement but with water proofing compound as per manufacture's instructions complete.

S&F for 500 ltrs capacity rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top) three layers, hoisted and fixed in position complete.

S&F for ball brass valves 20 mm bore, high pressure with polythene float and fly nut complete screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed.

M&L for GI tubing, 15mm bore `medium grade` with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors etc.

M&L for GI tubing, 20mm bore `medium grade` with all fittings and fixed completeto walls and ceilings or laid in floors etc.

M&L preparation of old decorated external wall/ceiling surface, making the surface smooth and applying one coat of cement base paint on walls complete all as specified and directed. ( Note for item No 1 to 27 :- The site shall be handed over to contractor in piece meal (minimum 2 buildings at a time) for execution of work. After completion of said buildings, another buildings shall be handed over to contractor for execution of work and the work of roof treatment and allied items to be carried out within 2-3 weeks after handing over site failing which a penalty of Rs 5000/- per building/ block per week shall be recovered from the contractor's dues).
