Supplying & installing of non-corrosive, Spray Applied Cementitious Fireproofing Vermiculite consisting of factory controlled premixed cement with minimum dry density of 350 kg/cum. Spray shall be done in one or more coats of approved make for two hour fire protection rating on structural steel members/sections of different shapes and sizes at all locations. The coating should be asbestos free & non-gypsum based (gypsum based fire proofing material not acceptable). The thickness of fireproofing to be dependent on Hp/A or W/D or A/P as case may be & as calculated by manufacturer & approved by Engineer Incharge. Minimum thickness of fire protection coating to be applied on structural steel of different shape and sizes shall be 17 mm and above irrespective of as calculated by manufacturer to achieve two hour fire protection and to withstand thermal shocks upto 550 Degree Centigrade .Structural steel surface members shall be manually cleaned by wire brush to ensure all it is free of oil, grease, loose mill scale, dirt, dust or other materials that would imp to the surface before the application of the fire protection coating. The fire protection coating of specified thickness shall be achieved by applying the material to structural steel surface by spraying method after mixing the material in recommended quantity of water to achieve the targeted density. The material shall confirm to fire protection requirements of either UL 263 or ASTM E119 or EN. The contractor shall furnish test report from International Test Laboratory of material before execution of work. Item includes cost of all tools, tackles, machineries; scaffolding, proper storage of material etc. required to complete activity & nothing shall be paid extra. Actual surface area of structural steel members shall only be measured for payment. Contractor shall furnish certificate for material & workmanship and fire protection rating for two hours. Approved makes: Bovia 279 Soprema, M II of Isolatek Newkem, Monokote Z146 of Grace, P400 of Promat or equivalent. Fire protection work
Fully Bonded Sheet Membrane : application below raft and footings & Grade slab Waterproofing of Under Raft Slab /Base Slab : Supplying & installing Colphene BSW / URDIN FBM / Elotene 4500 or approved equivalent by the Design Engineer, positive side waterproofing treatment for “Raft Slab/Base Slab” as per manufacturers specification by using minimum 4.5mm thick , Pre applied, flexible, fully bonded sheet membrane before casting of the base RCC slab. Fully bonded sheet membrane does not require dry PCC/blinding concrete and can be installed on wet/damp PCC as long as PCC is free from ponded water. Fully bonded sheet membrane should have sufficient high puncture resistance of >1210 N (as per ASTM E154) & does not require protection screed protection also & steel reinforcement can be laid directly over the robust membrane allowing faster construction. Fully bonded sheet membrane shall be chemically resistant in all types of soil or water and is unaffected by ground settlement beneath slabs. The fully bonded sheet waterproofing membrane shall have following typical properties : 1) Peel Adhesion to Concrete > 1500 N/M (per ASTM D 903) 2) Tear Strength MD > 600 N (as per ASTM D 5147) 3) Resistance to Hydrostatic Head > 110M (as per ASTM D 5385) 4) Puncture Resistance > 1210 N (as per ASTM E 154) Fully bonded sheet membrane shall be laid over the entire area and returned on to a vertical slab formwork. No Screed Protection Required for Fully Bonded sheet Membrane Allowing Faster Construction The membrane shall be installed with minimum standard 100 mm selvedge laps. Selvedge shall be Duo Selvedge, 55mm self adhesive and 45mm thermofusible film over entire area and turned up on to a vertical timber formwork/blockwork , as per recommendations/drawings. The membrane shall be laid over the concrete blinding having uniform surface, necessary overlaps between the membranes , firm rolling onto the surface to get a tight seal, etc. complete all as per manufacturer’s recommendations, etc. complete with all lead and lift for all materials and labour and as directed by engineer in charge. Fully bonded sheet membrane shall have minimum 100mm DUO SELVEDGE, one self adhesive & other using heat gun. Duo Selvedge will ensure complete lap sealing with lap adhesion of >1500 N/m and provide an intimate bond to the underneath of the poured concrete used as base/ raft slab to resist water migration. Membrane should be supplied with original manufacturer's Material Test Certificate (MTC) & CE marking & membrane should be installed in strict accordance with original manufacturer's instructions and contractor should produce method statement from original product manufacturer. The fully bonded sheet membrane shall consist of a multi layer composite film which consists of high performance SBS and polyester reinforcement and a trafficable weather resistant carbon crystals layer all complete as per manufacturers specifications.
Under raft slab
Providing and applying Vandex BB 75 / Ecorender Plus or approved equivalent waterproofing system in two coats @ 3 kg / sqm by trowelling method by Design Engineer. The 1st coat shall be applied to the prepared surface. Whilst the 1st coat is still “green” a second coat comprising of slurry coatings shall be applied with a stiff masonary brush or stiff broom and worked into every irregularity on the surface shall be done by means of trowelling or by spray only. Treatment to shall be carried out by trowel application using a steel trowel into hardened concrete slab surface including curing, cleaning etc complete as per manufacturers specifications. Providing & laying high density polyethylene (HDPE) dimpled protection and drainage sheet; over the waterproofing membrane on the retaining walls. The protection and drainage sheet shall consist of dimpled HDPE sheet; confirming to EN 13252, Compressive resistance 150 kPa, short width tensile strength MD/CMD - > 200 N/50mm, elongation at max load MD/CMD - > 20%, etc. complete as per manufacturer specifications. Providing and applying 2 component Smart Care coal tar epoxy / R 816 CE / TIKI CTE or approved equivalent by Design Engineer which is a two component, coating with percentage solids more than 80%, excellent resistance to affluents, Elongation of >30 as per ASTM D 638, Tensile strength > 3Mpa as per ASTM D 638, Shore A hardness of > 60 as per ASTM D 2240 and an adhesion pull off of >4 Mpa as per ASTM D 4541. 2K coal Tar epoxy has an excellent resistance to micro organsims and effluents. The consumtion shall be 4-5 sqm/litre., all complete as per manufacturers specifications.

The continuous gap between the façade and the concrete slab edge is to be filled with Fire barrier compressed to the manufacturers’ recommendation with a 2-hour fire resistant period (Integrity 120 min and Insulation 120 min ) tested as per BS476 Part 20 when tested to EN 1364 Part 4 or ASTME 2307 or any other laboratory with accreditation. Thickness of the safing shall be 120 mm minimum top to bottom with factory applied impervious foil face , with foil taped joints on site . Minimum 80kg/m3 density rock fibre insulation , 10% compression at site as per manufacturer recommendation and tested standards. Flasing / Trim / Floor Closure at Parapet level, floor level, beam bottom level and required flashings shall be provided continueously with required aluminium sheet & 1 mm thk. waterprrofing membrane. System shall have aluminium bend sheet flashing member from outside with thermal insulation as indicated in tender concept drawings. Internal & External concealed flashings shall be 1 mm thk Aluminium sheet. External & internal exposed flashing shall be 2 mm thk. aluminium sheet. The extruded aluminium sections of Alloy 6063 T5 / T6 & tolerances confirming to DIN / EN standard from approved extruder. The structural profiles shall have minimum 2.5 mm wall thickness. All the internal & externally visible surfaces shall have high Durability (Akzonobel) / Super durable (Jotun) Powder coating of 60 - 80 micron confirming to AAMA 2604 with minimum warranty of 15 years. The non visible aluminium surfaces shall have minimum chromatizing treatment. Design, Fabrication, Supply and install required structural steel frame work in line with design drawings made out of MS pipe sections / I Beams / Channels / Plates of approved make make of first quality confirming to IS standard. The steel design shall accommodate thermal stresses resulting from thermal expansion due to surface temperatures. The steel structure shall be finish with the following, i. Surface Preparation – Blast cleaned to Sa 2.5 confirming to BS EN ISO 8501-1 ii. Primer : Zinc Rich Epoxy 75 micron iii. Barrier : Epoxy Mio 125 micron iv. Finish : Polyurethane – 50 Micron (Only for exposed steel)

Perfomance Testing (Off Site Test ) Untize glazing system shall demonstrate performance for air seal / water seal / structural /seismic requirement . The system performance test shall be mandatory to verify the design performance meeting the requirement. The performance test shall be carried out at NABL accredited laboratory having fully automised data acquisition system with provision to capture all values directly in the test results sheet . The sequence of test and standard shall be ASTM E 283, ASTM E 331, ASTM E 330 , AAMA 501.1 , AAMA 501.4 Sequence of testing and criteria shall be as per tender Specification. No fabrication / installation at site shall be allowed without successful completion of laboratory performance test.
