Automatic main failure (AMF) change over features :The facility of automatic switching over to D.G supply and back to mains supply in the event of failure of mains and restoration of mains supply respectively may be incorporated for all sections of the panel by providing all required auxiliaries such as control contactors, line voltage monitors, timer units, relays etc.

SITC of floor mounted auto-manual power factor correction system panel of 400 KVAR capacity having 3 phase, Mixed Die Electric/ APP /utra heavy duty type (total power loss not exceeding 0.35 W/ KVAR) power capacitor in 15 steps and provided with two number fixed capacitor of 20 KVAR capacity and remaining with Electronic Thyristor switching with 7 % detuned harmonics filter consisting of 7% Detuned Copper Reactors, 440V 50Hz for all capacitors to supress switching of inrush current and reducing harmonics to improve capcitor life.

All ACB of DG Sync panel shall have Icu=Ics=Icw=100% for 1 sec., Ue = 415V, Uimp = 12KV with MODBUS communication with RS485 feature for communication purpose. All ACB releases shall be suitable for zone selectivity ZSI, all necessary wiring to enable ZSI shall be made within panel between upstream & downstream breaker. ACB protection release shall have fault history record at least 15 trip data. ACB protection releases wherever asked will be communicable type in DG sync. panel. ACB release shall be password protction & protection release shall have 4-line display to read/access voltage, current, p.f & energy parameters.
DG SYNCHRONISING PANELS (3Nos.X750 KVA )
Main DG Synchronising Panel suitable for DG for paralleling , AMF feature, Auto Synchronization, Auto Load Sharing, load demand start, Load Management (Distance between DG and DG Sync. Panel will be approx. 30-35 Mtr).
SITC of Main DG synchronisation panel. Panel will be TTA- IEC 61439, cubicle & modular type, made of 2mm thick sheet steel for frame work and covers, 3mm thick for gland plates, totally enclosed, minimum IP42, floor mounted, free standing, dust proof, vermin proof, front operated, electrical panel fabricated, painted and manufactured exactly as per specifications laid in this document and will be complete with the main and auxiliary bus bars, interconnection, cable gland plates, earth terminals, earth bus and will be powder coated finish with 70 micron thickness. The ACB panel shall use all draw out 3 position withdrawable type breakers suitable for 415 V AC, 3 phase, 50 Hz, 4 wire supply system and will have fault level of 50 KA. The panel will be made as per detailed specifications and drawings forming part of this document i/c fan for ventilation purpose as per OEM recommendation.
The DG Sync. panel will comprise of the following :

Three pole neutral contactor of rating not less than 400 A .-3 No.( Neutral contactor size will be same for all DGs of 750KVA)
DG shall have auto / manual synchronising.
Microprocessor based three element adjustable over current with time delay & adjustable shortcircuit with time delay, adjustable earth fault release with time delay along with RS 485 port. This will give all electrical data to BMS alongwith ON/OFF/TRIP status to BMS complete as required. - 1 Set.

1 No. REF differential relay with separate CTs, 1 no. reverse reactive power relay, 1 No. Sychrocheck relay, 1 No. negative sequence relay, 1no. field failure relay, 1 no. under voltage, 1 no. over voltage, 1no. under frequency & over frequency relay, 1 no. low-set standby earth fault relay in neutral circuit with separate CT. All these relays will remain common both in auto and manual mode.
Annunciation for LLOP, HWT, over speed & oil temp (annunciator shall reset itself) U/V, O/V, U/F, O/F, O/C, E/F, field failure relay, RPR, stand by earth fault , REF relay and RTD and BTD annunciation. All engine annunciation will come from DG controller located near engine.
Engine should trip on LLOP, HWT, oil temp, O/V, O/F and breaker should trip on other faults.
Initially U/V & U/F will be bye passed till oil pressure is picked up.
Generator start /stop facility through push button from panel alongwith lub oil priming pump starter with cyclic timer.
Whenever D.G. stop through PB, load shall be disconnected first.
The PLC based controller shall be suitable for controlling 3 D.G. sets in group of 750 KVA. It should be able to synchronise D.G. sets and control the ACB's as per the attached switching ON/OFF operation schedule. The Panel shall be complete with suitable capacity in built UPS. It should also have suitable nos. of IOs to close/ open LT Breakers.
Bus Coupler :
4 Pole EDO 1250 amps, 50KA ACB with microprocessor based releases having O/C ,S/C ,E/F protection ,with communication modus and 4 line LCD display , with Icu=Ics=Icw=100% for 1 sec.. The breaker shall have local ON/OFF/TRIP indication and ON/OFF/TRIP contacts shall be wired upto terminal strip for BMS monitoring.-2 No.
Outgoing feeders:
ACB, 2500A, 4 Pole EDO ACB, 50KA with Icu=Ics=Icw=100% for 1 sec., microprocessor based protection release with O/L, S/C, E/F protection & 4-line LCD display of current RMS value. SUB HEAD-VII: DG SETS: 750 KVA DG Set SITC of ‘Silent Type’ Diesel Generating set along with having Prime Power Rating of 750kVA, 415 volts at 1500 RPM, 0.8 lagging power factor at 415V suitable for 50 Hz, 3 phase system & for 0.85 Load Factor . All engine shall be suitable for paralleling and equipments like QDCT etc. shall be inbuilt to make smooth synchronisation.DG shall have necessary generator control module / controller and shall be complete in every way with RS 485 module.One no Microprocessor based 1250 A ,4 Pole EDO ACB, 50KA with Icu=Ics=Icw=100% shall be provided for 1250 A BBT termination with in the DG canopy and this should be internally connected to alternator through suitable size OEM recommended single core copper cables. DG shall consisting of the followings: Diesel Engine : Diesel engine of 4 stroke water cooled, electric start, of suitable BHP at 1500 RPM suitable for above output of alternator at 40 Degree C, 50% RH & at 1000 Meter MSL and conforming to BS 5514, BS 649, IS 10000, capable of taking 10% over loading for one hour after 12 hours of continuous operation. The engine will be fitted complete with all the required accessories. Engine mounted Instrument Panel fitted with and having digital display for following : (i) Start-stop switch with key. Providing & fixing for MS support structure for exhaust fume pipes from DG Sets (Exhaust pipe to be measured and paid for separately) /bus duct for bottom support along horizontal and vertical runs upto the height (as per CPCB norms) including cutting, welding etc and applying two coats of red oxide and two coats of synthetic enamelled paint of colour and shade as directed by client/Architect/consultant. The design of the support structure shall be done by the contractor and shall be suitable to the exhaust pipe height as per CPCB norms approved , also to get the approval from the consultant/E-I-C. before execution etc. as required. Work include all necessary civil work.
Providing and fixing of 50mm thick mineralwool/ glasswool/Rockwool insulation (of 46 kg per cubic meter density) around the exhaust pipes of 750 KVA DG set ( 250 mm. dia exhaust pipe) including cladding with aluminium sheet of 0.60mm thick and covering from outside complete as required suitable for DG exhaust pipe .

SUB HEAD-VIII- UPS SITC of 2X30KVA online load sharing UPS system of following ratings with computer communication possibilities consisting of standard software, double conversion system suitable for providing power supply to computers/servers, medical equipments, corridor lighting delivering at least 30 minutes backup, suitable for incoming 415 volts, 3phase +10% -15%, 50Hz supply and three phase output voltage, including, rectifier/dual converter, bypass switch, inverter, filter. Bypass & static transfer switch for automatic switch over, providing static bypass module, high switching frequency microprocessor based with built-in technical protections like short circuits, over load, high / low voltage cut off protection of load from source inclusive of bypass facility without giving any break of power, maintenance bypass switch. The UPS should have IGBT based rectifier and IGBT based inverter. The UPS should also give minimum >93.5% efficiency in online mode at full load and shall have input THDi less than 3%. output power factor: more than 0.9; THDv not exceeding 3% ; output voltage tolerance: less than 1% (for static load); With Inbuild Isolation Transformer. Microprocessor/ software controlled annunciation, protection (including against input phase reversal), & menu run diagnostic module, associated cabling, connection, termination, erection including associated foundation/ masonry or RCC work for mounting on base channels etc. complete as required & as per spec. VRLA Battery Banks, Battery cabinet and BCB consisting of 12V, SMF Type suitable for UPS System for 30 mins backup for individual UPS including interconnection with suitable size copper cable between UPS and battery bank. (Note: 1 Set means - 2 No. 30 KVA UPS along with 2 set of 30 min Battery back up bank.)
