Preparation & Cleaning of old surfaces of concrete by rubbing down & washing with soap water & appyling one coat of special road marking paint (water base) white, yellow or orange, black as in line, arrows, dashes letters etc. exe 10cm in width on ruanway & taxi track/dispersal area, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for repair of Expansion Joints (10mmx25mm) on PCC pavements by raking out existing sealing compound, cleaning the joints thoroughly by compressed air and priming the sides with bituminous primer and sealing joints by filling sealing compound grade B (Jet fuel resistant) as per IS:1834-1984 including removal, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for repair of Construction Joints (10mm x 25mm) on PCC pavements by raking out existing sealing compound, cleaning the joints thoroughly by compressed air and priming the sides with bituminous primer and sealing joints by filling sealing compound grade B (Jet fuel resistant) as per IS:1834-1984 including removal, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for repair of Dummy Joints/Contraction joint (10mm x 25mm) on PCC pavements by raking out existing sealing compound, cleaning the joints thoroughly by compressed air and priming the sides with bituminous primer and sealing joints by filling sealing compound grade B (Jet fuel resistant) as per IS:1834-1984 including removal, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for repair to broken / damaged portion of concrete slab or pavement by cutting damaged portion/spoiled edges of slab to rectangular cross section and removing all loose dirt and foreign materials and depositing the same to a distance exceeding 150m and n. exc 250m and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all loose dirt, dust, and foreign materials etc and filling epoxy resin mortar after application of epoxy resign primer including necessary form work required complete all as specified and directed as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Clearance of shoulders of air field by cutting grass, vegetation, shrubs, bushes, small tree using tractor with rotary Mulcher (grass cutter) on hourly basis including tractor, driver and one unskilled labour from 0800 hrs to onwards and removal of rubbish (cut grass) from the area of runway and taxi track and depositing where directed, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in- charge.

Note :- (i) Time of work hours will be accounted from starting of work actually at site and not the time of reporting of tractor at Site (ii) Contractor can be directed to provide more than one tractor with rotary Mulcher at a time as per user’s /site requirement. (iii) Log book shall be maintained by contractor for every tractor with time, date and location and shall be produced along with every payment duly signed by both parties for tech check. (iv) The cut grass shall be sweeped with brooms from near runway and taxi track immediately after cutting. (v) In case the contractor fails to provide the requisite Nos. of tractors alongwith labour with in three days of demand by the department a penalty @ Rs 1800/- per tractor with mulcher and Rs 500/- per labour shall be recovered from the contractor. vi) Cost of providing one unskilled labour per tractor shall be deemed included in the quoted rates.

Hiring of 01 Nos of JCB (Excavator cum front end loader) including POL and 01 Nos driver for excavating (inside MOD Land), loading spreading of earth material, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Hiring tractor with trolly including POL and 01 Nos driver for transporing & unloading of earth material complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces by power mechanical roller exc 8 tonne & not exc 12 tonne in cutting/filling including watering as necessary and consolidating to the required level, gradient or camber, keeping roller wheels wet, if required, filling in hollows and depressions complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
