Comprehensive maintenance for a period of twelve months of following capacity fully automatic engine start system Fire Fighting Pump sets installed at Fire Fighting Pump House with cleaning, Oiling,Greasing, topping, calibration, repairs to Main Pump Electric driven, Jockey Pump electric driven,diesel engine driven pump and including replacement of spares parts like Air vessels of various capacities, Batteries 12V 180 AH, Gate Valves of various sizes, Non Return Valves, Pressure transducer, Pressure switches, Gauges, Rewinding of Electric motors, v Belt of any size of diesel engine, pipe with fittings, check the level of coolant in radiator, repairs to leakage in radiator etc. Gaskets & Oil seals, bushes, servicing of the water pump, adjustment of fuel firing, repair to self starter, Battery & top up of Electrolite solution, arresting the oil leakage and topping up of engine oil, operator interface device OID display,replacement of unserviceable oil level tube provided on the fuel tank for checking of oil level. The same has to be calibrated and level marked on the tank, Repair of wiring control panel of DG set of suiatable size of copper wire including repair/Replacement off toggle switch, Motor Control Center with Switch Gears, etc & Complete Hydrant System, Water Sprinkler Syatem, Fire Suppression Foam system connected accessories spreaded all over the techical area of C-130J Complex all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge through Flash Point Control , Kolkata/Earth Environ System or Through Authorised maintenance service Centre having four years of experience in Fire Fighting maintainance schedule or Through MOU signed between contractor and Authorised maintenace service as approved by Engr -in-Charge and Garrison Engineer as directed. (Spare parts to be measured and paid here in after under Prime Cost Sum and respective items) :

Checking noise, vibration and temperature of the pumps in their working state. (ii) Cleaning, Checking electrical Control Panel (MCC) of the fire pumps. (iii) Checking of Engine Driven Starter Panel, Servicing of Fire Diesel pump At the interval of 06 Month. (iv) Checking of Volt Meter; Amp meter; Starter etc. (v) Checking of batteries, fan belt, temperature gauge, Fuel gauge etc. of diesel generator fire pump. (vi) Greasing of pump shafts. (vii) Overhauling of all Pumps (if required – at additional cost). (viii) Cleaning of all pumps and its accessories. (ix) Checking & servicing of Strainers, Gate / Butterfly Valves, Non return Valves, Air Vessel, Pressure Gauges, Pressure Switches and other related accessories therein. (x) Checking of Diesel Tank flow pipe condition, Display pipe condition. Building and Field: Equipments & accessories: (xi) Checking, Oiling and servicing of all fire hydrant outlets, sluice valves, butterfly valves. (xii) Checking, Oiling and servicing of all Installation Control valves, Flow Switches.

(xiii) Replacing of gaskets & Washers (if leakage/faults are noticed) (xiv) Checking & cleaning / servicing of Delivery Hose coupling Lugs, coupling washers, Binding state . (xv) Checking & servicing of Hose Reel System – including its operating Valves and Nozzles. (xvi) Flushing / draining of Sprinkler system pipelines. (xvii) Testing of sprinkler bulbs – if required. (xviii) Cleaning of NRVs, foot valves, strainers, FB Inlet, Suction inlet etc – if reqd. (xix) Checking & Servicing of Deluge Valves. (xx) Checking & Servicing of Foam Generator. (xxi) Checking & servicing of Foam Bladder Tank with its accessories & Fittings. (xxii) Checking operating Deluge system through QB Detector activation. (xxiii) Checking & servicing foam spray nozzles. Note:- Replacement of all minor parts and spares such as gasket, oil grease & gland packing, polish paper, distilled water for battery terminals, cotton cloth and all types of washers of valves but other than major assemblies like Foam Generator, Foam Bladder Tank, Deluge Valve etc. would be done at no extra cost and as and when required. Cost of consumables like Disel, Oil Filters, Coolant, Engine Oil etc. required for diesel engine operation are excluded in the quoted rates. [B] FIRE DETECTION & ALARM SYSTEM: (xxiv) Checking & operating all Detectors, Manual Call Points, Hooters / strobes, Panels - namely: Fire Alarm Panel, Repeater Panel, Foam Discharge Panel. (a) The rates of Contractors shall be inclusive of provide the following comprehensive services arising out of wear and tear of the normal usage of all the fire fighting pumps and connected accessories:-

(b) Preventive and Corrective Maintenance : The authorised service representative of OEM or OEM certified agencies shall visit the site once in a quarter for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on all the units installed at site. This includes maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and electronic parts / sub-assemblies. The preventive maintenance report will be as per the manufacturer's instruction and as specified in Particular Specification. The contractors can claim payment on quarterly basis. (c) Breakdown Maintenance : The authorised service representative of OEM or OEM certified agencies will carry out all breakdown maintenance after receiving information (written or oral) from GE(AF) Panagarh officials or their representatives, The OEM's authorised service representative or or OEM certified agencies will carry out the required repairs of the units and inform office about the status of site. No payment shall be made on this account of any breakdown service during comprehensive maintenence period. (d) Breakdown maintenance calls will be attended within a maximum of 48 hours of the receipt of the complaints. (e) The Contractor will employ trained service engineers / technicians certified for the service under this Non comprehensive maintenance period. (f) The Contractor will also maintain service reports for all visits & breakdown visits & copy of the same will be submitted every month. (g) The cost of the above are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (h) The bidders are requested to visit the work site before quoting. (j) Providing successful demonstration of fire alarm system/ fire sprinkling system (mock drill) quarterly as directed by Engineer in Charge (k) Providing successful demonstration of Alcohol Resistant Water base Aqueous Film Forming Foams (AR-AFFF) based Fire Suppression System (Mock drill) quarterly as directed by Engineer in Charge (l) Providing successful demonstration of fire hydrant system (Mock drill) quarterly as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material and Labour for scrapping of old painted surface of Fire hydrant /fire hose box , pipe of any size on ground/wall ,ceiling of aircraft hanger and painting with one coat of red oxide and two coats of synthetic enamelled paint of Exst Colour colour complete with all fittings etc all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of brick massonery valve pit internal dimension 90x90x90cm with subclass B bricks in CM (1:6) and 15mm thick plastering in CM (1:4) inside the chamber and on the external portion exposed above ground level, 3mm thick MS sheet cover welded arouds with ms flat iron of size 40x6mm and ms angel iron frame of size 40x40x6mm with locking arrangement and painting with tow coats of syhthetic enamel paint over acoat of red oxide primer including necessary earth allas specified

Prime Cost Sum. The prime cost is to be used as directed by the Accepting Officer vide condition 1(v) and 5 of IAFW-2249 of General Condition of Contract forming part of the tender documents. (a) Provide a prime cost of Rs 300000.00 for supply of spare parts of various plants/units as mentioned under BOQ srl No 1 here-in-above after dismantling and ordered convening BOO by the Accepting Officer. The materials shall procured directly from the OEM aurhorised dealer or as directed by Engr-in-Charge. The contractor shall have to submit GST enabled original printed bill for claiming payment. (b) Contractor quoted rate shall be included for overhead and profit and all taxes and insert amount to cover all. However, quoted amount shall not exceed 15% (Fifteen Percentage) of estimated amount. In case, the contractor quoted amount is in excess of 15% of the estimated amount, the same shall be restricted to 15% and the amount quoted shall be corrected accordingly to work out the contract sum.
