For soil

Cement concrete 1:3:6 using graded stone aggregate 40 mm max. size including consolidating, finishing, curing etc. complete excluding formwork, all complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.

Providing, centering and shuttering using timber planks/steel plates including strutting and propping etc. at all height and removal of the same for in situ reinforced concrete and in plain concrete work. All complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.

Foundations, footings, base of columns plinth beams, flooring, machine foundations, bed blocks, window cills, copings and mass concrete

In columns, mullions, pillars, posts, struts

Sides and soffits of beams, beam haunchings lintels, cantilever, girders, bressumers, soffits of suspended floors, roofs, balconies, chajjas etc.

REINFORCED cement concrete of M-20 grade using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm max. size including machine mixing, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete but excluding formwork, shuttering and steel reinforcement, all complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.

In foundations, footings, plinth beams, base of columns, flooring.

In columns, mullions, pillars, posts, struts

In beams, slabs, lintels, bed blocks, chajjas, canopies, shelves, walls and window cills.

Providing and fixing reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete using TMT bars of preferred make having minimum yield strength of Fe 500 or higher grade as per IS at all levels including supplying, cutting, bending, fixing, tying in position with 1.6mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire etc. All complete including cost of binding wire as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note: 1.The steel reinforcement bars shall be brought by the contractor at terms & conditions specified.TMT bars manufactured in the brand name of preferred shall only be permitted subject to furnishing of challans, valid test report issued by the manufacturer, pertaining to elongation,yield strength, Bend rebend test etc.

Note : 2. Random testing of sample collected at site shall be arranged by the contractor at their own cost.One sample comprising of three specimens shall be collected for every 25MT of bars brought at site .The representive of department shall associate with the engineer of contractor at each satge right from sampling of testing .All charges ,transport taxes etc shall be borne by the contractor.

Note : 3. the contractor shall be solely respossible all the time for watch & ward of bars/binding wires etc at their own cost.

Note : 4. 1.60 mm dia . Soft drawn annealed BINDING WIRE required for the work will have to be procured by the contractore at their own cost and will not be measured for payment .

Note : 5. Other condtion as stipulated in general condition, special conditions, additional conditions and specification shall also be applicable and no claim whatsoever on account of enforcing these provisions shall be entertained .

Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using ISMBs, Joists, channels, angles, flats, Tees etc. of minimum grade Fe 250, at all levels including welding, painting with two coat of enamel paint over a coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. All complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)

Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using Structural steel M.S. plain & chequered plates at all levels including welding, painting with two coat of enamel paint over a coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: For item no. 08 & 09 : 1. Structural steel conforming to IS: 2062 2. The contractor shall supply copy of Documentary evidence of purchase of steel, test certificates from the manufacturing firms and also testing from third party, if required to be arranged at no extra cost. 3. Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rate. 4. All holes will be made by drilling only. Gas cutting of holes will not be permitted. 5. Electrodes manufactured by preferred brand only shall be used.

Brick work in cement mortar 1:6 using table moulded chimney bricks having a compressive strength not less than 40kg/cm² in superstructure at all levels including double scaffolding, raking out joints, curing etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Half Brick masonry using table moulded chimney bricks having a compressive strength not less than 40kg/cm² in partition walls in C.M. 1:4 at all levels, with stiffeners of reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 (100mm x 100mm) size at every 900mm height including double scaffolding, raking out joints, form work for stiffeners, curing etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : Reinforcement will be measured & paid for separately under relevant item.

Providing & fixing in position Precast Cement Concrete Jalli, 75 mm thick of approved design & pattern of approx size 300 mm x 300 mm/600 mm x 600 mm using RCC 1:1.5:3 including the cost of formwork & MS reinforcement as per specifications set in C.M. 1:3, close jointed and pointed with Cement paste including finishing the surface smooth, curing, hoisting & erecting in position etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing in position 24 G G.I. Chicken wire mesh of size 15mm x 15 mm fixed at the junction of beam and wall, junction of column and wall including cutting to required size, tying the mesh to bars/nuts which are properly welded to the metallic inserts or tying with 16 G annealed binding wire, removing all undulations, tight fixing and including cost of all materials and labours etc. complete.All as per drawing, specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Cement plastering to external surfaces of walls at all heights, 20mm thick, with cement mortar 1:4 over brick walls or concrete surfaces, including finishing rough (wooden float finish) hacking the concrete surfaces, double scaffolding wherever necessary, curing & making grooves etc. All complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling Asbestos/GI sheet roofing along with ridges, hype, valleys,gutter, wooden ballies and other associate materials including scaffolding and stacking the materials anywhere in RRCAT campus etc. all complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.

Providing and fixing roof sheeting in two layers at all heights, 0.5 mm thick TCT colour coated fully screwless Galvalume sheets joined to double lock standing seam with 52 mm depth & 350-550 mm pitch or equivalent size of preferred make in top & 0.50 thick color coated multi ribbed linear panels at bottom of roof including all overlaps, mitring and expandable S.S. clips with HAT section @ 1.20 M c/c or spacing of existing purlin to join the sheets to purlin as per manufacturer's code of practice, Base material for both the sheet shall be Galvalume and have a minimum yield strength of 340 Mpa and shall conform to the physical specifications of ASTM A 446(Grade D)/ ASTM A 755(Grade 50) / A653 (Grade 50)with Galvalume coating conforming to ASTM A 792- AZ 150 ( 150 gm. Per sqm.),

including p/f top/bottom ridge, S.S. end flashing, E.T.P. closures rainwater downtakes, gutter sheets, facia etc. matching with profile panels and cutting the sheets as required including jointing screwless sheet using electric portable seamer at site and liner panels using self drilling & self taping fastneres, sealers, cost of scaffolding work at all heights including providing and fixing 50 mm thick rock wool slab insulation (48 kg/cum density) with factory made laminated aluminum facing FSK vapour barrier (Aluminum foil) on one side on top of linear panels etc. complete as per specification as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Painting plastered surfaces with two coats of Acrylic emulsion paint of approved shade and make over one coat of approved cement primer including preparing the surfaces, filling with full wall putty, scaffolding and cleaning, tools & tackles, safety appliances etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Painting the exterior walls and roof with two coats of preferred make and approved shade including preparing the surface by removing loose dust and dirt with stiff brush and washing the surface with clean water, treating the surface with antifungal chemical wherever required, filling holes with putty, scaffolding and cleaning, tools & tackles, safety appliances etc. All complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Imp. Note - a) The bidder must possess valid EPF & ESIC registration. The bidders need to deposit EPF & ESIC with appropriate authority. The reimbursement for EPF & ESIC deposit shall not be made. b) The payment of wages to labourers should be made through bank. c) The bidder must possess sufficient manpower & other resources (as detailed in SGF ) required for the timely completion of work. d) A land for the construction of contractor shade in RRCAT premises shall be provided for material storage and contractor has to make arrangement for temporary shade at the alloted space for the shade & same must be removed after the completion of the work at their own cost. If contractor is allow to use departmental constructed space, same shall be charge @ 500/- per Sqm per month and contractor has to handover the same in good condition after the storage use.
