Ssurface dressing n exc 15 cm deep in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

75 mm thick WBM(Compacted thickness), with coares aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed. .

Preparing black top / WBM/ Concrete surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc then applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1, grade confirming to IS 8887 at 3 Kgs/10Sqm) using emulsion pressure distributer on the preparedbituminous/ Concrete/ granular surface, complete all as directed.

Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concerte, 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (VG-30 Paving bitumen) any penetration content as in semi dense asphaltic concrete rolled with 8 to 12 tonne tandem vibratory roller and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical paver machine etc,complete all as directed.

Preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick center lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n.exc 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint (including reflectorizing glass beads@250 gms per sqm as per IRC-35-1997)of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactures instructions complete all as directed. Unit rate quoted by the contractor include for provision of red signals to keep off trafic from work, cleaning road surface and working during odd hours when traffic is light. 2. The line marking shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing any signs of scratch marks or surfaces underneath, if necessary the surface shall be remarked after removal of existing treatment untill the desired result is obtained.
