Annual Maintenance Contract for Carpentry works in AMD Complex, Shillong for one year (From the date of commencement of work order)

Providing and fixing PVC Door Frame of size 50 x 47 mm with a wall thickness of 5 mm (+- 0.2 mm), made out of single piece extruded PVC profile, with mitred cut joints and joint with 2 nos. of PVC bracket of size 190x100 mm long arms of cross section size 35x15 mm & self-driven self taping screws, the vertical door profiles to be reinforced with 40x20 mm M.S. rectangular tube of 0.8 mm, including providing EPDM rubber gasket weather seal throughout the frame, including jointing 5 mm PVC frame strip with PVC solvent cement on the back of the profile. The door frame to be fixed to the wall using 8x100 mm long anchor fasteners complete, all as per manufacture's specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

35 mm thick factory made Solid panel PVC Door shutter, made out of single piece extruded solid PVC profiles, 5 mm (+-0.2 mm ) thick, having stiles & rails (except lock rail) of size 95x35x5 mm, out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered ( on both sides), having one side thickness of 15 mm integrally extruded on the hinge side of the profile for better screw holding power, including reinforcing with MS tube of size 40x20x1 mm, joints of stiles & rails to be mitered cut & joint with the help of PVC solvent cement, self-driven self-tapping screw & M.S. rectangular pipes braket of size 190x100 mm of cross section size 35x17x1 mm at each corner. Single piece extruded 5mm thick solid PVC lock rail of size 115x35mm, out of which 75mm to be flat and 20mm to be tapered at both ends having 15mm solid core in middle of rail section integrally extruded, fixing the stiles & rails with the help of solvent and self-driven self-tapping screw of 125x11 mm, including providing 5 mm Single piece solid PVC extruded sheet inserted in the door as panel, all complete as per manufacture's specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing 30mm thick panelled or panelled and glazed shutters for doors, fixing with butt hinges of required size with necessary screws, including cost of panelling, including cost of 3 Nos. butt hinges of 5 inches long, 12 nos. screws, 2 Nos. tower bolt of 3 inches long, 2 nos. bow handle of 3 inches long etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing 30mm thick glazed shutters for windows / ventilators using 1st class local wood, fixing with butt hinges of required size with necessary screws, including cost of 4mm thick glass pane, including ISI marked MS pressed butt hinges bright finished of required size with necessary screws etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows shutter including chowkhats, arhitrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within 50 meters lead.

Providing dressed and rebated wood works in frames / chowkats of windows, ventilators and doors; framed and fitted in position with nails, spikes, nuts, bolts, grouting the wood frame in position with cement concrete, etc as required and directed complete. Pooma wood.

Providing and fixing panelled kitchen cupboard shutters including mosquito net, heavy duty iron hinges, iron fittings, etc complete with pooma wood.

Providing and fixing fly proof galvanized MS wire gauge to windows / clestory windows / kitchen cupboard using wire gauge with average width of aperture 1.4mm in both directions with wire of dia. 0.63mm all complete with 1st class local wood beading.

Replacement of 4mm thick Plain glass panes (weight not less than 10kg/sqm) including all cost of wooden fillets, materials and labour.

Replacement of 4mm thick Frosted glass panes (weight not less than 10kg/sqm) including all cost of wooden fillets, materials and labour.

Providing and fixing of 5mm thick plain glass for table top including polishing of edges (weight not less than 12.5 kg/sq.m) including fixing, materials, labour.

Taking out existing wooden door shutter or window shutter, repair by cutting, painting etc. and re-fixing of repaired door shutters to existing door frames, including replacement of hinges with screws, etc. as required, all complete as perdirection of Enginer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing alumuniumdie cast body tubular type universal hydraulic door closer (having brand logo with ISI, IS:3564, embossed o the body, door weight upto 35 kg and door width upto 700mm), with necessary acessories and screws etc. complete.

Providing and fixing chromium plated plated brass 100mm mortise latch and lock with 6 levers and a pair of lever handles of approved quality with necessary screws etc. complete.

Providing and fixing IS:12817 marked stainless steel butt hinges of size 125x64x1.9mm with stainless steel screws etc. complete.

Providing and fixing IS:12817 marked stainless steel butt hinges of size 75x47x1.8mm with stainless steel screws etc. complete.

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.m and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of ngineer-in-charge with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand).

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper, having VOC content less than 50gms/ltr, of approved and manufacture, including applying additional coats whereever required, to achive even shade and colour. Two coats on top of water tinnable cement primer.

Finishing walls with acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shade, including scaffolding. Two or more coats applid over a coat of exterior primer.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved and manufacture to give even shade. Two or more coats over a coat of primer.

Note-1: General Notes 1.For their own interest, contractors are advised to inspect the site with prior permission before quoting their rates. 2. All the dismantled /demolished materials shall be dumped at one place as decided by the department within 150mtr lead. 3. All the samples of materials which are to be used shall be approved by the department in advance. 4. The contractor shall comply with the provision of the Payment of Wages act 5. Rates quoted shall be inclusive of all cost of materials, labour, carriage, taxes, GST, labourcess, water charges, elctricity charges, signorage charges, wastages etc.. 6. Rates quoted shall be excluding the amount of EPFO and ESIC contributions. EPFO and ESIC contributions are reimbursable on production of valid proof of payment made by the contractor as per CPWD norms.
