Strengthening the road from Lakshmipuram road to Govindanagaram - Jangalpatty joint road Km 0/0-1/6 - in Theni Block

Clearing and grubbing by cutting, removing and disposing of all materials such as bushes, scrubs, stumps, roots, grass, weeds, top organic soil not exceeding 150mm in thickness rubbish including cutting of trees up to 300mm girth.

Picking old metalled / BT surface upto 10cm thick as directed by the departmental officers

Earthwork excavation from borrow pits for filling in all classes of soils such as gravelly soil, hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton soil, hard red earth, shales, murrams, gravel stone earth and earth mixed with 50% fair sized boulders and hard gravelly

Collection, Supply & Filling of Red Gravel from approved quarry including stacking charges and all other labour charges etc., complete as per standard specification.(100% compaction for side berms)

Providing and laying Water Bound Macadam Grading - III(63mm to11.20mm)IRC HBG of 75mm consolidated thickness consisting of clean, crushed aggregates mechanincally interlocked by rolling and bonding together with screening binding material of 0.24 cum for 10 sqm (the material passing 425 microns sieve shall have liquid limit and plasticity index not more than 20 & 6% repectively) and finished in accordance with the requirements of the specification and thickness as per approved plans or as directed by the Engineer as per clause 405 of MORD revision I(Mix -in - place method) Rate for 10sqm

Applying TACK COAT over WBM surface at 4Kg of RS-1 Bitumen Emulsion/ 10 sq.m including labour for spraying, hire charges for bitumen sprayer etc. Comp.

Providing and laying premix carpet with seal coat type A, 20mmconsolidated thickness using IRC size machine broken HBG metal 0.18cum of 13.2mm and 0.09cum of machine crushed broken HBG metal of 11.20mm with 14.60kg of bitumen for premixing for 10sqm of premix carpet and 0.09cum0.09cum of 6.70mm IRC size machine broken HBG metal with 9.80kgs of bitumen for sealcoat including cost and conveyance of all materials from approved quarry including the cost of bitumen which will be supplied departmentally and cost will be recovered at the rates specified in the special condition appended herewith and including conveyance bitumen to work spot handling charges for the same at both ends including labour charges for heating the bitumen to required temperature and mixing the required quantity of metal and bitumen using mini hot mix plant conveying the mix by wheel borrow including labour charges for spreading the mix to grades, lines and profile and consolidation with power roller rolling etc., including hire, fuel charges and running charges for mini hot mix plant, power roller rolling etc., including hire, fuel charges and running charges for mini hot mix plant, power roller and all other tools and plants employed &all incidental charges such as barricading, providing danger lights etc., complete complying with standard specification(Payment shall be made for the finished item of work after compaction)No.509&513 of MOST
