Operation and Maintenance of Advanced STP consisting of Motors / pumps/ valves for Rotating Biological contactor, Settling tank, filter feed sump, Filters, Treated water storage tank pumping distribution, etc., including monitoring all pumping system, greasing / lubricating the valves / bearing, pumping the treated water to OHT, Checking and mixing of Bio culture / Alum / Chlorine, Cleaning the screen chamber, slow sand filter and other equipment's in water supply pumping and distribution system, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Replacing the following filter media by removing the existing stained filter materials for Rapid sand, Slow sand and Activated carbon filters including removing the old materials, cleaning the filters, filling the new materials, disposing the retrieved materials, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and mixing the following chemicals / materials of approved make for operation of Advanced STP including stacking safely as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Bio Culture

Alum ( Aluminium sulphate)

Dry chlorine powder (Bleaching powder with 33% and above of available chlorine content)

Providing and fixing Oil / ball Bearing UC 215 - 48 TR for Rotating Biological Contactor of approved make as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Painting all types of metal surface with Two coats of PU finish paint of make MRF (Metal coat) or other approved make over a coat of epoxy zinc phosphate primer of make MRF (Metal coat) or other approved make and using thinner 1110 Ep for epoxy primer and thinner for finish for metal coat paint including preparation of surfaces, applying primer coat, applying metal paste wherever required, making surface smooth by sanding, applying two coats of PU finish paint, scaffolding etc., all complete at all lifts as per manufacturer instructions and specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Collection and conveyance of sewage sludges settled in Raw sewage collecting tank, settling tank and filter feed sump situated at Advanced sewage Treatment plant in Anupuram Township to outside of the township by using sewage lorry of capacity not less than 5000 Litres per trip including cost of men, materials, machineries and suitable safety gears as required for this work, etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. [Note: Suitable precaution shall be taken while collection and disposal of sewage sludge to avoid asphyxiation.]

Labour charges for cleaning the over head water tanks located a height of 45 metres above the ground level by closing the incoming valve of water line, draining out the existing water in the tank, thoroughly cleaning the inside of the tank by brushing with brush and bleaching powder completely, removing the dirty materials, closing the scour valve and releasing the water into the tank after thoroughly. cleaning, refixing the manhole cover in position etc. including cost of bleaching powder, all tools and plants etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note:- The labourers engaged for cleaning the water storage tanks/reservoirs/sumps shall be got medical certificate by DAE Hospital before attending the work.)

Residential buildings over head tanks

Attending Mechanical/Electrical related complaints for advanced STP submersible pumps, motors, gears, valves etc., including checking the checking cable connections, belt winding, oil seal repairs, checking the all bolt and nuts, greasing with lubricating grease of HP (or) IOCL applying premium quality industrial gear oil, etc., all complete maintenance as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: 1) The Contractor shall be engaged one skilled person for this work. 2) One operation involves one or all activities of descriptions mentioned above for a net working time of 8 (eight) hours in a day. 3) Weekly maintenance shall be carried out.
