VVSPL-LOWERING AT CH153.5KM ELERU CROSSING

HDD inst 18"&12.7mm CS — ying of of 18 inch diameter&upto 12.7mm thick pipeline and 6 inch diameter conduit pipeline for OFC including supply & laying of 2 n HDPE ducts inside 6 inch dia, 6.4mm thick of A106 Gr B/API 5L Gr B/IS 3589/IS1239 or equivalent ERW pipe and blowing of OFC success lly across Yeleru River by HDD method in all types of soils including hard rock. HDD Contractor shall carry out pre-construction sur y & verify river banks and establish the proposed HDD length on ground before execution of the work. Taking over free issue material .e. pipeline from HPCL for pulling,Handling, hauling, shifting, Pretesting of pipes as & when required for laying. Cutting, grinding bevelling, matching uneven pipe thickness by grinding / jacking, jack up for correcting pipe ovality, cold bending (min. 40D Radius) f corrosion coated pipes, fit up, welding, NDT, UT of new bevels for 50 mm wide pipe strip, Radiography, weld repairs, re-radiograph weld joint radiograph interpretation by Level II qualified inspector & report, weld joint corrosion coating including surface prepa tion, holiday testing, corrosion coating repairs, & long radius bends. Scope includes all materials, tools, tackles, machinery, equi ent, consumables, power,fuel, water, dewatering, temporary & enabling works, watch & ward, manpower, supervision. Employing Third pa y inspection service for radiography film witness, field joint coatings and UT testing to check laminations as per STC. All works fo 24-hour hydrostatic testing of the carrier pipe string and same shall be qualified and witness by Third party inspection agency as p STC. Watch & Ward, safety precautions for protection of normal public & traffic, providing temporary diversion & access for inspect n of utility. Scope includes pipe string preparation,hydrotesting, post hydrotesting& gauging of pipeline.

NOC from authorities — ntractor shall collect approvals, permissions from irrigation department, Roads&Buildings dept, Local Bodies, telecom and other auth ites applicable at the crossing to cross or work on their utilities. All the NOCs shall be submitted after restoration of the sites d utilities.Approvals required from Irrigation department, Roads& Buildings dept, Local govt bodies, Revenue department,Electricit department, telecom department, mining dept and applicable authorities whose utilities & lines are crossing the pipeline and needs t get the approval. Payment will be released 15% per the applicable approval from the concerned authority and on submission of NOC fro the authorities after completion of the job. Utilities shifting, replacement,repair, restoration and all works required for their cr sings will be under the scope of the contractor.

Land on entry point — ntractor shall take the land on lease to the extent as advised by HPCL at entry point for placement of Rigs, Bentonite storage,makin the approach roads in the field, office, fabrication, consturction etc., and liaisoning with farmers to complete the job in all resp ts. The land shall be taken on lease for one year from the date of LOI/PO/Written advice given by HPCL. Vendor shall submit the NOC ken from farmers to HPCL after restoring the site. It shall be contractor's responsibility to provide necessary irrigation needs thr gh tubes/hume pipes etc., in the field if required at the site. Contractor shall arrange for any replacements and repairs of the dam es caused to the farmer's equipment during the execution of the job.

Land on exit side for pipe — ntractor shall take 1100m x 12 m land strainght to HDD path on lease for pipe stringing at exit point. Vendor shall provide the irri tion needs through pipes to cross the 12m width of the land if required in the fields. All the fill up works, leveling works, appora way making, replacement/ repair for any damages to farmer's utilities during the exectution of the job and other necessary works in udes in the scope of the contractor. Contractor shall submit the NOC taken from farmers to HPCL after complete restoration of the fi ds. The land shall be taken on lease for one year from the date of LOI/PO/Written advice given by HPCL.An area of 1100m(length) X m(width) land straight to HDD path shall be taken for pipe stringing, pipe preparation, welding and for other necessary works on lea for one year from the date of LOI/PO/Written advice by HPCL. Provide Irrigation to fields through pipes and levelling works shall b done if necessary. Bidder shall collect the NOC from all the land owners after completion of the work and restoration of the site an submit it to HPCL. It shall be HDD Contractor's responsibility to make arrangements for additional land required for fabrication, co truction, storage, office, string preparation, and placement of rig, other construction equipment, launch-way and all other work are at no extra cost.

Tiein & Hookup with existing — okup with Existing VVSPL Mainline including:Excavation for exposing the existing pipeline at both ends to required length,providin necessary safety precautions, cold cutting of existing pipeline after pumping of water by HPCL, dewatering by vendor, beveling, tie- with new section at both ends, radiography, joint coating, backfilling, restoration toits original condition, etc. complete. Pump g of water shall be arranged by HPCL, Contractor to submit drawings showing the scheme of proposed hookup,prior to commencement of j indicating vertical, horizontal alignment at both ends of existing & newly laid section and obtain necessary approval for hook up.C plete in all respects.

Removal of existing Pipeline — TRIEVAL OF 18" DIA 7.1 TO 9.5 MM WT CARBON STEEL PIPELINE (PARTLY CEMENT COATED) INCLUDING BENDS, HANDLING, HAULING, TRANSPORTATION, OADING, UNLOADING & STACKING. Scope includes excavation, cutting, handling, hauling, loading, transportation, unloading, staking, a designated store yard at VVSPLRajahmundry booster station, back filling and restoration of site. NOC to be obtained from utility ow rs after restoration of site. Job includes equipment, machinery, consumables, temporary & enabling works.

AIR PIGGING CP-08 to RBS — r Pigging job involves Mobilization of 2 No. of Diesel Engine driven Air Compressor of a minimum Capacity of approx. 1150 CFM @ 20 K cm2 pressure or superior capacity, placement of the same in position at designated owner's premises for air pigging on 24hr basis in dling working conditions, including transportation, manpower, handling , loading, unloading, shifting, mobilization of suitable hose pes and its connection with air compressor and owner's pipeline including mobilization all necessary tools and tackles, supervision l complete as advised by Owner's Engineer in-charge, continuous operation of one compressor and second will be operated as per site quirements, launching of two number Bi-Di Pigs from IPS-01 on either side of water plug as per the standard procedure. Bi-Di pigs al g with spares suitable for air pigging shall be supplied by vendor. No additional payment will be made for PIGs. Scope of job includ supply of diesel for the compressors, deployment of Competent persons as air compressor operators on 12 hr shift basis for round th clock operation including services like Diesel top-up, condition Monitoring of Air Compressors etc. Job includes supply of all consu ble like Fuel etc. Hiring charges shall not be payable in case of mechanical break-down of air compressor for the period of break-do . Quoted rate to be on lump sum basis. Scope includes supply of manpower for carrying out Air pigging activity from CP-08 (rigger ma ower) along with general tools and tackles for carrying out activities like pigging, emptying of pipeline by air venting, temporary nnections (Mechanical/piping / Electrical) and any other services as required and as advised by Engineer in-Charge. Pig tracking wil be done by HPCL using PIDS. Contractor to ensure that CP- 08 to CP-09 section is fully emptied out by air pigging to facilitate pipel e cutting for line replacement. Contractor to quote for compressor continuous operation for maximum of 24 hours. Compressors operati beyond 24 hours will be paid as per additional hour’s line item to complete the Air Pigging of 49 KM section CP-08 to RBS. Air pigg g shall be done in 18" diameter and 49km long pipeline from CP-08 to RBS.

FAB AND TEST OF 6D LR — BRICATION, TESTING AND THIRD PARTY INSPECTION FOR HOT PULLED 6D BEND OF DEFLECTION ANGLE UPTO 45 DEG AS PER SPECIFICATION MADE OUT O OWNER FREE ISSUE LINE PIPE OF 18 INCH DIA AND upto 12.7 mm wall thickness 3 LPE/3 LPP COATED PIPE CONFORMING TO API 5L GRADE X 70 ER AS PER QUALIFIED BENDING PROCESS. Fabrication, testing and third party Inspection for Hot Pulled 6D Test Bend of deflection angle upto 4 deg. as per specification made out of Owner's free Issue Bare / 3 LPE/3LPP Coated Line Pipe conforming to 18" Dia & Wall Thick up to 0.5 mm conforming to API 5L Gr. X70 ERW for qualification of bending process. Work to be carried out at Owner’s approved manufacture s place. Transportation with all lifts& leads includes in the scope. Removing 3LPE/ 3LPP coating from owner issued pipe is under the sco of contractor.

Fabri tion and third party Inspection for 18" Dia 6D Radius Hot Pulled Bend as per specification made out of Owner's free Issue Bare / 3LP 3LPP Coated Line Pipe conforming to 18" Dia & upto 12.7 mm Wall Thickness API 5L Gr. X70 ERW. Bend deflection angle 45 Deg to 90 De Work to be carried out at Owner’s approved manufacturer’s place. Transportation with all lifts& leads includes in the scope. Removing 3 E/ 3LPP coating from owner issued pipe is under the scope of contractor.
