REPAIR/REPLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF LT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, LT PANELS, LT CABLES AND CONNECTED ALLIED WORKS UNDER AGE E/M NO 1 OF GE (U) SECUNDERABAD

M&L for attending, repair and rectification of external LT/HT electric supply complaints on 11000/1100 Volts grade, under ground / over head system along with necessary T & P, safety devices as per site requirement for the following type of complaints complete all as specified and directed:-

Trimming/pruning and removing of tree branches or any other foreign objects from HT/LT over head conductor /Street light /Solar light area and clearing the OH Line of any type and size for one street light/one span of any length in 2 way /4 way/6 way conductor system. Notes: (i) Insulators of any type, connectors and ACSR conductor of any size required at site will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. (ii) The contractor is responsible for provision of Necessary T & P and safety equipments to complete the job. (iii) Quoted rate is deemed to inclusive of Replacement of Insulators, Joining the ACSR Conductor, Jumpering and stringing the ACSR conductor etc.

Replacement of faulty LT switch gear of any type and size fixed in panel board pole mounted boxes on walls or any other indicated places including provision of lugs/thimbles of suitable sizes. Note: - Switch gears will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule.

Replacement of blown out DO fuse, 11 KV grade of any capacity. Notes: (i) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of Fuse wire of required gauge and necessary T & P required at site. (ii) No additional payments will be admissible for replacement of fuse in same system with an hour. (iii) Set of 3 fuses will be considered as one job for payment purpose.

Dismantling of cross arms of Ms channel of angle setion for issue of schedule of credit

Taking down LT over head line ACSR Conductor from pole / insulator complete with guarding & cradlesall as specified and as directed .

Dismantling of steel poles/ concrete poles of an site an location for issue of schedule of credit

Notes for Item Nos 1.01 to 1.06 :- (a) The contractor will be allotted complaints at MES complaint cell on daily basis on all working days and sufficient resources will be deployed by him/her for completion of day to day complaints within 24 Hrs from the time of reporting. Any delay beyond above mentioned time limit without intimation of sufficient cause, penalties will be recovered twice of the quoted rate for each un-attended complaint. (b) A detailed log of complaints with completion/non-completion remarks from users/MES will be maintained by the contractor and the same will be updated on daily basis in consultation with Engineer-in-Charge or JE E&M as detailed. (c) The contractor will make suitable arrangement for emergency complaints and will notify authorised rep/Engineer-in-Charge about extraordinary circumstances for probable non-completion or delay in rectification of complaints beyond stated time limit set for disposal of complaint. In case of any dispute the decision of accepting officer will be final and binding in this regard. (d) The contractor will intimate MES authority well in advance if electric shutdown is required during rectification of complaints. (e) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation and other expenses required for the resource deployment at the complaint site around scattered Military station at Secunderabad. (f) The contractor will maintain location wise record of each spare utilized as per inventoy format given by AGE E/M, Secunderabd and the same shall be submitted to E/M No I store on daily basis.

Supply only the following materials as in repairs/replacements complete all as specified and directed. Note : Any modification/ alteration in existing panel which is required to fixing of MCCB is deemed to be included in unit rate

Dismantling LT steel tubuler pole of any height by taking out from PCC foundation complete and shifting to other location as directed including fixing the pole in true vertical position including excavation and earth work, PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as base concrete and PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in both foundation and coping of poles all as specified in SSR Part I-2009 and applying two coats of aluminium paint to pole surface complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix Power contactor coil of Power contactor of having capacity 360/400 Amps 4 pole 2NO +2NC complete all as specified and directed. Make:- L&T Cat part No. CS94195 or equivalent as approved by GE

Supply and fix Power contactor of having capacity 400 Amps 4 pole 2NO +2NC complete all as specified and directed. Make:- C&S Cat part No LC1 FDP3304AE or equivalent as approved by GE.

Supply and fix Power contactor of having capacity 400 Amps 4 pole 2NO +2NC complete all as specified and directed. Make:- L&T Cat part No. CS97025 or equivalent as approved by GE.

Supply and fix Power contactor of having capacity 360 Amps 4 pole 2NO +2NC complete all as specified and directed. Make:- L&T Cat part No. CS97024 or equivalent as approved by GE.

Supply, lay, commissioning and testing of cable jointing Kit for 1100 V grade cable for straight through heat shinkble joint with jointing material and accessories suitable for aluminum conductor cable of size upto 120 sqmm, 3.5 Core complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 08 here-in-before but suitable for aluminium conductor cable of size from 120 sqmm, 3.5 Core to 240 Sqmm, 3.5 Core

M&L for XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area laid in trenches / duct or fixed to wall / passing through pipe on pole with suitable size cable glands, crimping type cable lugs for stranded aluminum conductor of following sizes complete all as specified and directed :- Note: Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and cable protection items etc shall be measured and paid under respective items of BOQ.

M & L for testing earthing of installations, buildings, equipment etc and treating of earthings by pouring salt water and submit results sheet to AGE E/M No-I complete all as specified and directed. Note: Contractor has to arrange necessary tools required for the job

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth, for foundation of PCC/Steel pole, laying of cable in trenches etc and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 12 here in before but depth above 1.5 m & below 3 m

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soils complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L filling approved river sand in trenches for sand cushioning of laying of cables to the full width of excavated trench 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm above the cable, gently punned down, stretching and testing of cable on transformer yard etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Thickness of sand cushion after punning down shall be measured for payment.

Supply and Lay reinforced precast concrete cable cover LV, Type I,flat, size 250x150x40 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded aggregate set in cement mortar 1:4 as in coping/pedestals of poles including necessary form work complete and applying two coats of white wash to exposed surface of coping/platform complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete for pole / stay / post etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L brick protection with common burnt brick sub class ‘B’ of size 230x115x75mm for cable protection complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for replacement of broken earth pit made out of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, 20 mm thick and earth pit cover made out of RCC 1:2:4 type B1, cover reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 100 mm center to centre both ways with hook made out of 8 mm dia bar, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and including reconnecting of earth lead of any type with new nuts, bolts and washers etc as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting the existing LT steel poles of 9.0 Mtr long including cross arms, clamps, street light junction boxes etc with 2 coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including throughly cleaning the existing surface, writing of pole numbers in yellow circle 15 cm with black paint on poles. Painting the poles up to 1.5 Mtr height with alternate bands 30 cm height (3 Nos black and 2 Nos Yellow) from ground level, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, errecting and fixing steel tubular swaged poles with cast iron base plate of size 300mm x 300mm x 6mm, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws for type 410 SP-31 (9.0 metres long) including painting with two coats of aluminum paint over one coat of redoxide primer on all exposed surfaces and tarring with black bituminous paints to embedded portion in PCC and providing 3 Nos of 30cm wide circular bands with black & yellow paint starting from plinth level at a gap of 30 cm in between 2 bands and numbering of poles, in yellow paint over black painted back ground at a height of 2m from bottom of pole with 5 cm large bold letters 2" (inch) wide complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, earth work, PCC in foundation and coping shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

M&L Pipe bracket for street light fitting made out of 40mm dia GI pipe, medium grade, tubing bend to shape, 1.5m long fixed to pole wall including provn of two sets of clamps made out of flat iron of size 40x6 mm including of provn of bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs surge protection of 10 KV suitable upto 100W LED light fittings suitable to operate on input voltage 440 AC, 50 Hz, complete all as specified and directed. Make: C&S / Havells/ Cromption cat part No 5RPSQ10KV/5KV-440 as approved by GE.

Supply & lay heavy duty PVC insulated multi stranded Aluminum conductor 3 core of size 2.5 Sqmm, 230 volts, 50 HZ complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & lay heavy duty PVC insulated multi stranded Aluminum conductor twin core of size 4.0 Sqmm, 230 volts, 50 HZ complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & lay heavy duty PVC insulated multi stranded Aluminum conductor twin core of size 6.0 Sqmm, 230 volts, 50 HZ complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & lay Galvanised Iron tubing 40mm bore, light grade in protection of cable at road crossing/hard standing/pole protection fixed with MS clamps of size 40 X 4 mm, nut bolts and washer as per site requirement including taking down old unserviceable pipes complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 31 above but GI tubing 50 mm bore.

M&L cutting of road/hard standing upto a size not exceeding 20 cm in width and not exceeding 60 cm in depth for laying of LT UG cable/protection pipe line making good the disturbed portion so as to match existing finishing with PCC 1:2:4 type B1/cement mortar in CM (1:2) complete all as specified and directed

Demolition of coping of pole as required for placing of cable protection pipe and making good the same by using PCC complete al as speccified and directed. Note: Quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive of PCC

Taking out and Relaying of LT cable of size 10sq mm to 120 Sqmm 2/3.5 core after carrying out necessary Repair such as joining with Epoxy joint and laid with sand Cushioning and brick protection and making connection By using Lugs all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. Note: Earth work, sand cushioning, brick protection, Lt Joints shall be measured and paid separately under Relevent Item.

Taking down old unsv Street light fittings in any position of any capacity, Repair of street light fittings by replacement of unsv spares and re-fixing the same in existing location. Note:- Spares for repair of street light fittings will be measured and paid under respective items.

Servicing of ACB 4 pole 415 Volt up to 1000 amps including tripping test complete all as specified and directed

Make : Cat Part No BLSLC 50W LED TRI 4M of BAJAJ or equivalent as approved by GE.

S& F in replacement of old unserviceable lugs after cutting the worn out /faulty cable end from LT pillar/panel box including necessary earth work for taking out the cable from loop line, returning, filling in and making cable lead by providing aluminum lugs including crimping with crimping tools in the existing LT cable 3.5 core upto 25 Sqmm including necessary connection complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairing of automatic operation of highmast lantren including all arrangements required including crane and replacement of all unserviceable spares of highmast lighting system of height 12 m to 16 meter . Note : Quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive of the following:- (i) crane as required for taking down of high mast pole including light without any damage to the mast, lantern and lights etc and refixing the same after repairing of the all problem on the same position (ii) Necessary disconnection and reconnection of electrical connection. (iii) Replacement of all unserviceable spare like High mast head, high mast ring , stainless steel wire, clamp, winch, transition plate, service door , Hook ring, nose plate, cabinet, gear, reel, transmission belt etc including servicing of gear box , filling of gear oil, greasing etc complete (quoted rates deemed to be inclusive of all spares required for proper functioning of lantern system except stainless steel wire, High mast head, high mast ring etc.

Supply only steel wire rope 6mm dia (7/19 construction) suitable for highmast system including u bolt complete all as directed

Taking down, transport to workshop , Re-winding of electric motor 3 phase installed at highmast pole of capacity upto 2.2/3 HP and refixing of the same including necessary arrangement complete all as directed
