SPECIAL REPAIR TO EXISTING ROAD AT CQA(I) ESTATE AND TECH AREA RAIPUR DEHRADUN UNDER GE(I)(P)(FY) KANPUR.

M&L for preparation existing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor and gunny bags to remove all loose/dirts etc and applying evenly a primer/tack coat tack coat with bitumen emulsion at the rate 5 Kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of toal mix using paving bitumen (VG-30), rolled and compacted to required camber and gradent complete to uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed . Note: (i) The Mix shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver. (ii) Design mix for semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) shall be carried out through an authorised test lab and the cost of testing shall be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Cost of testing charges, materials and transportations etc shall be inclusive in the unit rate and no extra cost will be admissible on this account. (iv) The roads are to be repaired by using mechanical paver first time. There may be some unevenness in the existing road consolidated average thickness required shall be 30 mm .

M&L for repair to independent pot holes not exceeding 01 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads/path etc cutting around edges to at least 30mm in depth making good by applying tack coat with bituminous emulsion primer @ 5 kg per ten sqm, putting in premix BM well rammed & sealed with binder 9.8 kg@10sqm with0.09 Cum stone chipping 6.3mm size and again well rammed incl chipping of premix BM binder & chipping depth of pot hole exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75mm or Less) with 4% binder (paving bitumen VG-30) content by weight of total mix, laid and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Mix shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver. (ii) Cost of testing charges, materials and transportations etc shall be inclusive in the unit rate and no extra cost will be admissible on this account.

M&L for preparation of new/old road surfaces and applying thermoplastic reflective paint in marking of 2mm thick single coat as in centre line and edge line road marking of 150/100 mm width using ‘HOT MARK’ by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as blinder, glass beads titanium dioxide calcium carbonate inter filler, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be the table No 800.4 of MOST specification including spraying of glass beads etc all as per manufacture/s instructions and as directed by Engineer-in-charge/GE.

S&F Aluminium alloy body reflective solar road Studs of dimension 130 x 120 x 25mm with 3 Nos of solar power LED red each side complete all as directed and specified.
