Servicing of DG sets by carryout inspection / checking of cylinder assembly, piston system, piping system, cylinder liners, radiator function and cleaning thoroughly with cleaning agents, repair any mechanical and electrical fault etc. including replacement of defect / unserviceable spare parts with new one (if any) complete all as directed for the following capacities of DG sets located at different locations: - (i) 1010 KVA DG sets model Cummins at New CHSC - 6 nos. Note for item nos 01 to 04: - (a) Spares parts (if any) shall be measured and paid separately under item nos.20 to 31 & 25 to 37 of BOQ as “Supply only”. (b) The cost of labour & T & P required for servicing of DG Sets shall be deemed to be included in unit quoted rates of this item. The contractor is responsible to provide 24x7 call back service and repair facility through skilled, competent and well experienced technician. No DG Set will be left unserviceable more than 4 hrs. If DG set found unserviceable for more than 04 hrs from the time it was reported to the contractor during the term of this contract recovery @ Rs.1000.00 per such Non-functional DG Set per day will be imposed and will be recovered from the amount due to the contractor. Regarding this the decision of Accepting Officer shall be final and binding. (c) All dismantled old unserviceable items, except those listed in schedule of credit, retrieved from any DG set shall be deposited to MES store yard.

M&L for writing SM/MES Number on DG set of approved synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and appropriate size of letters complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down the unserviceable turbo charger assembly after disconnecting the mechanical connections from DG Set of capacity 1010 KVA of any make / type opening and thoroughly checking to carrying out repairs to the turbo charger assembly and replacing the turbo charger repair kit and mirror spares as required including calibrating, servicing and assembling and re-fixing back the turbo charger assembly to its original position and testing complete all as specified and directed

M&L for design, supplying, installing, test and commissioning of free standing floor mounted, dust and vermin proof LT Panel of suitable size for outdoor installation factory made both front and rear side double door system, fabricated with 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet for load bearing members and 2 mm thick for doors and covers and shall be painted with epoxy powder paint by means of electro static gun after rigorous pre treatment comprising of cold phosphating process on all internal and external surfaces after due preparation of surfaces. The panel shall consist of 600 ,Amps rating TPN bus bars of high conductivity aluminium alloy and shall be provided with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves, with 600 mm depth of the panel.
