Repair and Maintenance to GB Road - Kadamguda C road in the District of Malkangiri for the year 2025-26.

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable materials etc complete as per direction of EIC.

Cleaning the existing Black topped surface with removal of foreign materials with brooms or soft btrushes and finally dusting with old gunny bages and/or compressed air to receive bituminous etc complete as per direction of EIC.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam Grading No. -III (53-22.4 mm size) specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, crushable screening(morum and sand admixture) to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per Technical Specification Clause 405 of MoRD & as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion on prepaired sueface of granular base including cleaning the road surface and spraying primer @ 0.60kg / sqm using mechanical means as per clause 502 of MoSRT & H specification for road & bridge works etc complete as per direction of EIC..

Providing & applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressere distributer @0.20kg / sqm on the prepared bituminous / granular suerface cleaned with mechanical broom as per clause 503 of MoSRT & H specification for road & bridge works as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness using 0.27cum of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates using S-60/70 penetration grade bitumen to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508 of MoRD including cost, lead, lift royality and taxes of all materials required for the work by manual means etc. complete and as per direction of the Engineer -in- charge.

Providing 6 mm thick pre coated seal coating including cost, conveyance, royalty & taxes of all materials including hire & running charges of P.R .R etc complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Earth work in hard soil in embankment, roads, etc within 50m initial lead and 1.5m initial lift from approved borrow pit including rough dressing and breaking clods maximum 5cm to 7cm and laying in each layer not exceeding 23cm in depth upto required level including sectioning and cambering the earth work and conveyeance of all materials, T & P articles after compaction with PRR including hire and running charges of P.R.R etc. complete.

Providing granular sub-base in layers not eceeding 22.5 cm well watered and compaction to the required density in O.M.C with Vibrater roller. etc. complete including cost, carriage, royalty . as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Construction of un-reinforced plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M-30 (Grade), coarse & fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity & appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the form work as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed & plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction, expansion & construction joints sealant as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, curing compound (where specified) & water finishing to lines & grade as per drawing & Technical Specification as per direction of the E.I.C.

Earthwork in excavation for foundation of structures upto 3 m depth as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1104 includding setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material and as per direction of EIC.

Backfilling in Foundation Trenches with sand as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1108 & as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6 nominal mix) in levelling course below open foundation of Head walls as per drawings & Technical Specification Clause 1109 and as per direction of EIC.

Plain Cement Concrete M15) in levelling course below Foundation of Head walls as per drawings & Technical Specification Clause 1109 and as per direction of EIC.

Providing Gravel backing including cost, conveyance, royality etc complete as per direction of EIC

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7and as per direction of EIC
