Hardness Test Calibration Block

Special Eligibility Criteria

   (1) Bidder should be manufacturer of Hardness test calibration block or authorized dealer/distributor/Agent of manufacturer of Hardness test calibration block. (2) In case Bidder is manufacturer, documentary evidence viz. Valid UDYAM certificate, valid ISO certification or any other valid certificate to be uploaded by Bidder indicating that Bidder is manufacturer of Hardness test calibration block failing which offer shall be summarily passed over. (3) In case Bidder is authorized dealer/distributor/Agent of manufacturer, then Bidder should upload tender specific authorization letter from manufacturer & also upload documentary evidence viz. Valid UDYAM certificate, Valid: NSIC certificate, valid ISO certification or any other valid certificate that manufacturer which has authorized the bidder is actually a manufacturer of Hardness test calibration block, failing which offer shall be summarily passed over. (4) Manufacturer must have experience of manufacturing Hardness test calibration block and has supplied Hardness test calibration block directly or through their authorized dealer/distributor/Agent to IR Zonal Railways/IR PU/PSU / Central Govt./State Govt./RINL within last 5 years from the date of opening tenders, documentary evidence viz LOA/PO copy with receipt note/receipt challan /completion report must be uploaded along with offer, failing which offer shall be summarily passed over. (5) Following documents must be provided along with supply of material: i) Purchase proof from Manufacturer in case Bidder is participating on behalf of Manufacturer. ii) The bidder must submit undertaking that the supplied items are similar to Hardness test calibration block as per specification (as per annexure 'A') attached with tender. iii) Calibration certificate from Govt. approved agency or NABL approved laboratory. iv) Manufacturer's GC & TC

Commercial-Compliance

   The tendered item(s) fall(s) within the ambit of clause 3(a) of Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, No.: P- 45021/2/2017-PP(BE-II) dated:16.09.2020 issued by DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. This implies that there is sufficient local capacity and competition in supply of the tendered item(s) of required quality, and therefore public procurement of the item is restricted to Class-I local suppliers only (having local content equal to or more than 50% as defined under the Para 2 of the above order) and the vendor(s), who do not qualify to be class I local supplier(s), is/are not allowed to bid in this tender and their offer shall not be considered for any ordering. In case any vendor, who does not qualify to be class-I local supplier for the tendered item, but participates in the tender, it does so at its own risk and cost and Railways shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the vendor.

   Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.
