REPAIR/ MAINT OF INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RAW WATER PIPELINE AND CONNECTED ACCESSORIES AT RS AREA UNDER GE (NW) NAVY NAGAR, COLABA, MUMBAI

Material and labour for attending complaints pertaining to Raw Water/Treated Water supply system in external services up to 14th floor level, including tracing of defects, dismantling and refixing of fittings, tightening of joints, replacement of minor accessories, testing, commissioning and restoring the system to satisfactory working condition, complete in all respects as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- (a) Scaffolding, staging, ladders, safety equipment, or any other arrangements required for execution of work at height shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. The quoted rates shall be deemed to include the cost of all such provisions and no extra payment shall be admissible on this account. (b) The contractor shall provide and maintain a Complaint Register/Complaint Book. Complaint slips duly signed by the occupant/user shall be submitted to the Complaint Cell of STP/Water Supply Section on the next working day after rectification of the complaint. (c) The rates shall be deemed to include the cost of all minor fittings, consumables, fasteners, washers, gland packing, Teflon tape and other sundry materials required for rectification. However, pipes, valves, PVC connections and other major items shall be measured and paid separately under the relevant items of Schedule.

Cleaning of raw water overhead tanks of capacity up to 2000 litres in existing position by mechanized method, including cleaning of internal surfaces comprising floor, walls and roof by mechanical high-pressure water jetting and steel wire brushing to remove algae, sludge, dirt and other foreign matter completely; pumping out and removing dirty water, sludge and debris by high-pressure wet vacuum pump; disposing of spoil outside MES land; and affixing a sticker indicating the date of cleaning and due date of next cleaning, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Rates shall be deemed to include all labour, tools, tackles, safety equipment, consumables, pumping out residual water, disposal of spoil, and all incidental operations necessary for complete cleaning and restoration of the tank to serviceable condition.

M & L in repairs for CI or DI specials conforming to IS - 1538 or 9523, spigot /socket or flanged fitting I.e. bend, tee, collar, flanged/ socket /spigot, Tappers, flanges and tail pieces etc suitable for 100/150/200/250/300 mm bore CI/DI pipes (joints and joining material shall be measured and paid seperately)
