Taking out existing roof treatment of any description including plaster cement concrete etc rubbing with water including 20mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:3 on roof slab mixed with WPC 3% by weight of cement including finishing fair and even all as specified and directed. Note :- WPC shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L priming the surface with one coat of cold applied bituminous primer @ 0.40 ltr/Sqm conforming to IS : 3384 & apply a layer of APP based polymeric membrane 3mm thick (min) weighing 3kg/Sqm reinforced with polyster non woven febric (weighing not less than 150 gms/Sqm) applied by torch application having side over lap 75 mm and at the end 100 mm including sealing the joints. Note :- Membrane shall be taken to a height of min 60 cm and inserted in a groove on parapet wall where required/ downward facia . The work shall be deemed to be included in the item rate. (Make of APP Membrane : Tikidan/IWL)

M&L providing 50mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in padding on roof. Roof padding shall be laid in two layers of 25mm thick each chicken wire mesh shall be placed between two layers of PCC padding. The surface of padding shall be finished even and smooth without using extra cement. False groove shall be made on top of padding complete all as specified and directed. (Note : The quoted rates are deemed to be included of chicken wire mesh).

M&L scrapping, chiseling with brush hand hammering scrubbing by electric tools, mechnical means etc and clear the concrete surface with blower and disposal of all unserviceable material upto a distance of 500m to 1 km and dispose of same in proper layer including taking down existing treatment of any type all as specified and directed.

M&L rendering 20mm thick in polymer cement mortar 1:3 prepared with Master Proof IWP-1 by the weight of cement on concret and other surfaces including finshing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. M/s Choksey, STP Chemicals or equivalent liquid of Fosroc/ SIKA / Pidilite or as approved by GE. Note :- Exact qty and application process of chemical is strictly as per manufacture's guidelines.

M&L waterproofing treatment by water proofing liquid after proper cleaning of the new surface free of dust and applying the first coat (By brush only) @ 4-4.5 Sqmt/Litre allowing it to dry for 24 hrs and applying the second coat over it on horizonal and vertical surface all as specified and directed. Note:Application shall be carried out through authorised applicator of manufacturer only and as per guidelines of Manufacturer strictly. Each stage shall be passed by Eng-in-charge before laying further coat. Make: Dr Fixit roof seal, M/s Choksey, FOSROC or equivalent approved by E-in-C's Branch.

Supply only integeral water proofing compound.

Disconnecting & dewatering of PVC over head tank, scrubbing the inner suraces, cleaning & removing all scales, dirt etc from mouth of circulating pipes, washing the tanks with fresh water and disinfecting the same by flushing with liquid chlorine or any other equivalent chemical, reconnecting & refixing in position after cleaning for tank capacity 500/1000 Ltrs including marking with white paint and stencil all as required & directed. Note: (i) Cleaning shall be doen through wash out pipe by marking suitable arrangement to teh outlet pipe such as cutting of the pipe providing short piece of pipe fitting and union coupling etc where washout pipe are not existing. The dirt shall not be allowed to enter the water supply system. (ii) The quoted rates are deemed to include items incorporates use of any material for completing above task to the satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repair 20mm bore ball brass valve high pressure with polythene float and nut confirming to IS screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 25mm bore Gun metal gate valve with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed complete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying two coats of “Epoxy zinc rich primer” as protective coat to expose surface of old and new reinforcement over 10 mm dia as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Nitozinc primer of FOSROC/Friazinc R of SIKA/ or equivalent in PIDILITE

M&L rough cast plaster on exterior walls applying the under coat of cement and sand morrtar 1:3 not less than 10mm thick and while it is still in plastic state the roughcast mixture consisting of crushed stone or fine gravel aggregate (size between 6 to 12mm ) mixed with coarse sand and cement in the raio of 1:1:1 shall be applied and finished even. The mix of cement and sand shall made slightly wetter than normal for rendering to ensure that larger aggregate are thoroughly covered complete all as specified and directed.

Note : Sanding of surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500 - 2700 rpm, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer.

M&L complete removal of existing treatment on wall/ roof projections including facia, cornices etc by scrapping with mechanical sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) with sanding pad of appropriate grit to make surface clean,free from dust, loose paint etc by skilled labour complete all as specified and directed at any height incuding necessary scaffolding.

M&L waterproof/weather proof cement based putty @ 1 Kg (undiluted) per sqm of average thickness 1mm over the new plastered /old painted wall after scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth complete and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 grit or above to make the surface free from dust etc. by skilled labour as per following steps:- Step 1) Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer instructions and mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute. Step 2) Apply the first coat the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application having flow speed of max 6 ltrs per minutes with a maximum pressure 3300 PSI. Step 3) Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface.

M&L applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed at any height incuding necessary scaffolding over new/complete removal surfaces. Note :- (i) Primer and emulsion application to be carried out through air less spray machine (Only mechanical application allowed except in paint application on bands/chajja/building edges/borders/ projections where contrasting color as specified and directed is to be applied). (ii) Sanding of surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500 - 2700 rpm, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer. Proper masking to be carried out before primer and paint application).

M&L one coat of acrylic water based exterior grade primer @0.9 ltr (undiluted)/10 sq mtrs diluted with water in 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete all as specified and directed at any height incuding necessary scaffolding.

M&L two coats of water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additive & Color stay Technology, Excellent Dirt Pick up resistance with low VOC less than 50 gram/ litre as per the LEEDS specifications, Anti Algal properties in two coats @ 1.79 ltr (undiluted)/ 10 sqm diluted with water as per manufacturer instructions applied over priming coat with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI.Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in both the coats of paint after complete removal of existing surface/plastered surfaces.complete all as directed. Make - Nerolac Excel Top guard (10 years product warranty) / Asian Paints Ultima Protek (10 years product warranty)/ Berger weather coat long life 10 (10 years product warranty) at any height incuding necessary scaffolding.

M&L two coats of smooth interior acrylic emulsion with rich matt finish having VOC less than 50 grams per ltr complying LEEDS criteria @1 ltrs(unndiluted) /10 sq mtrs diluted with water in 2:1 ratio applied over priming coat with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI.Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in both the coats of paint after complete removal of existing surface/plastered surfaces as per manufacturer instructions complete all as directed at any height incuding necessary scaffolding. Note : -Sanding of surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500 - 2700 rpm, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer. Proper masking to be carried out before primer and paint application).

M&L obliterating old writing of any description, not exc 0.1 sqm with paint to match existing works complete all as specified and directed.

Notes for item No 54.00 to 61.00:- (a) The work pertaining to smart periodical services shall be executed by authorized applicator through manufacturer of which the materials i.e Paint, Distemper, Putty etc. is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by GE. (b) Cost of scaffolding etc of building shall be included in the quoted rate. (c) The contractor shall upload MOU letter with any one of manufacturer and also with their authorised applicator mentioned in the tender alongwith their bid in cover-I failing which his bid will be rejected. Authorised applicator shall have valid authorisation letter from the manufacturer (Minimum regional HQs) and shall have been issued not less than 30 days from the date of commencement of the work.The authorisation letter needs to be valid for the complete period of execution of the painting work. (d) After preparation of the surface, Engr-in-Charge shall approve the same before applying primer and finishing coats. (e) Building wise stage passing register shall be maintained and shall be signed by Engr-in-Charge and contractor. (f) The equipments to be used in the work shall be certified by the manufacturer with whom the MOU been entered into. (g) Contractor shall submit approved company generated 05 years warranty card at the time of submission of RAR & Final Bill.
