Talawada Dam Project

Construction of Talawada Dam Project on Mahi River having approximate gross capacity of 67 MCM on turnkey basis with maximum total submergence of 653 Ha land comprising of preparation of Construction drawings & design, obtaining approval of all construction drawings & design from the competent authority including construction of all civil, mechanical, and electrical works involved in the construction of Dam. The work includes survey of Head Work and Submergence with Fixing of Chainage cum Boundary Stone, geological investigations, hydrology approval, preparation, and submission of complete Land Acquisition (LA) cases to competent authority for land acquisition of dam seat and submergence area and perusing LA cases for award, forest clearance, environmental clearance, NHAI clearance, and all other clearances which are required for dam construction. Construction of permanent two lane CC road for dam approach from SH or NH road, All structures coming under submergence i.e. culverts, bridges, roads etc., Concrete Overflow block, Energy Dissipation arrangement, Non-over flow blocks earthen dam including river training and construction of coffer dam, provision of environmental sluice and Vertical/Radial gates with hoisting arrangements, automatic lifting beam, automatic operated Monorail hoist, Stop log arrangements, gantry crane with rails arrangement, RCC T beam Deck slab bridge with minimum 7.5 meter width and foot bridge etc. and hoist supporting structures with primer anti corrosive and painting necessary as per IS CODE for all component of steel structure involved in construction, including removal of defect for 60 months in defect liability period, model study of the project Construction, Planning & Design of control room, Guest House, staff room and chaukidar quarter Building with supply of generator and procurement, supply and erection of DG set with required capacity for operation of all gates with one stand by generator and maintenance of all components for five years after completion of the project, including dam break analysis, Emergency action plan(EAP) preparation, gate operation manual, instrumentation in dam for monitoring and any other work as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge as per details given in scope of work. The work also includes Watch and ward, Management, Operation and Maintenance (MOM) for the Period of 60 months after completion and further extendable for another 60 months, including 60 months of defect liability period running simultaneously.
