Construction of Granular sub base by providing coarse graded material as per grading, spreading in uniform layers on the prepared surface, mixing at optimum moisture content and compacting with vibratory roller/mechanical earth rammer to achieve the desired density complete. Providing pre-construction anti-termite treatment (with preferred make chemical) generally as per IS 6313 (Part-II)-1981 guaranteed for ten years complete. The treatment shall comprise of following stages :-
a). Treatment around foundation, footing & columns :- Soil poisoning from the depth of 500mm below ground level around RCC/Brick foundations, columns, plinth beams, walls, etc. with chloropyrifos (1% concentration) @ 7.50 litres per sq.m. of vertical surface including rodding the earth at 150mm centre to centre close to the column/ beams/walls surfaces, spraying the chemicals so as to soak the soil right to the bottom complete including tamping back the soil into place after this operation.
b). Treatment around internal/external walls or plinth beams :- Soil poisoning from the ground level upto the level of filled up earth surface around junction of internal/external wall and floor with chloropyrifos (1% concentration) @ 7.50 litres/m². of vertical surface so as to establish continuity of the vertical chemical barrier on inner wall surfaces from ground level including making a small channel of size 30mm x 30mm, rodding the channel at 150mm centre to centre to pour the chemical, spraying the chemicals so as to soak the soil right to the bottom complete including tamping back the soil into place after this operation.
c). Treatment of soil below sub grade of floor :- Soil poisoning of the top surface of the filled earth within plinth wall with chloropyrifos @ 5.00 litres/m². of the surface including making hole 50 to 75 mm deep at 150mm centre to centre both ways.
d). Treatment of soil along external perimeter of building :- Soil poisoning along external perimeter of the building including making holes with iron rods, 300mm deep @ 150mm intervals filling these holes with chloropyrifos @ 7.50 litres/m². of the perimeter walls. In the event of filling being more than 300mm, the external perimeter treatment shall extend to the full depth of filling upto the ground level so as to ensure continuity of the chemical barrier.
Note: The amount @ 10% of security deposit deducted from the item shall be withheld by the department for a period of 10 years from the date of completion (as per service guarantee).
Providing & laying in position Cement concrete 1:3:6 using graded stone aggregate 40 mm max. size including consolidating, finishing, curing etc. complete excluding formwork all complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.
Providing & laying in position REINFORCED cement concrete of M-20 grade at all heights using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm max. size including machine mixing, consolidation, mechanical vibration, finishing, curing, cost of labour & machineries etc. complete as per specifications but excluding formwork, shuttering and steel reinforcement. Providing & laying in position Design Mix REINFORCED CEMENT CONRETE of M-25 grade at all heights using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size including machine mixing, weigh batching, mechanical vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing and cost of labour, machinery, and materials etc. complete as per specifications but excluding shuttering, formwork and steel reinforcement. (Minimum Cement content shall not be less than 387kg/cum of concrete.)

Providing and fixing reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete using TMT bars of preferred make having minimum yield strength of Fe 500 or higher grade as per IS:1786 at all levels including supplying, cutting, bending, fixing, tying in position with 1.6mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire etc. complete including cost of binding wire as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Note: 1 - The steel reinforcement bars shall be brought by the contractor at terms & conditions specified.TMT bars of preferred make shall only be permitted subject to furnishing of challans, valid test report issued by the manufacturer, pertaining to elongation,yield strength,Bend rebend test etc.
Note : 2 - Random testing of sample collected at site shall be arranged by the contractor at their own cost.One sample comprising of three specimens shall be collected for every 25MT of bars brought at site .The representive of department shall associate with the engineer of contractor at each stage right from sampling of testing . All charges ,transport, taxes etc shall be borne by the contractor.
Note : 3 - The contractor shall be solely respossible all the time for watch & ward of bars/binding wires etc at their own cost.
Note : 4 - 1.60mm dia . Soft drawn annealed BINDING WIRE required for the work will have to be procured by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment .
Note : 5 - Other conditions as stipulated in general condition, special conditions, additional conditions and specification shall also be applicable and no claim whatsoever on account of enforcing these provisions shall be entertained .
Cement concrete flooring (IPS) 40 mm thick with cement concrete of mix 1:1½:3 with graded stone aggregate of 10mm max. size, laid to proper level or slope in alternate bays, rammed and finished smooth including providing & fixing Aluminum dividing strips of size 25mm x 3mm thick, curing etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supplying & laying ROUGH FLAG STONE FLOORING of 30mm ± 5mm average thickness over a bed of 150mm thick murrum to proper slope including earthwork excavation and back filling with 150mm thick murrum, cutting the edges to proper lines and sunk pointing with cement mortar 1:3 including providing 15mm x 10mm groove longitudinally & crosswise, curing and disposing of unserviceable materials within 50m lead etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Brick work in cement mortar 1:6 using table moulded chimney bricks having a compressive strength not less than 40kg/cm² in superstructure at all levels including double scaffolding, raking out joints, curing etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Half Brick masonry using table moulded chimney bricks having a compressive strength not less than 40kg/cm² in partition walls in C.M. 1:4 at all levels, with stiffeners of reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 (100mm x 100mm) size at every 900mm height including double scaffolding, raking out joints, form work for stiffeners, curing etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Reinforcement will be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of schedule.
Non Slippery Ceramic tile flooring/dado using 6± 0.5 mm thick matt finished ceramic tiles of sizes as mentioned below, 1st quality of preferred make over 20mm thick cement mortar 1:3 bedding, close jointed and pointed with matching cement slurry using white cement pigment mixed with, finished to levels slope or plumb as required including 20mm thick cement mortar 1:3 bedding, making good the surface before bedding, cutting of tiles, curing, acid washing etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

The contractor shall supply copy of Documentary evidence of purchase of steel, test certificates from the manufacturing firms and also testing from third party, if required to be arranged at no extra cost. 3. Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rate. 4. All holes will be made by drilling only. Gas cutting of holes will not be permitted. 5. Electrodes manufactured by preferred brand only shall be used.

Providing and fixing factory made 30 mm thick pre laminated PVC door shutter (conforming to IS: 4020) with PVC door Frame (Choukhat) of preferred make consisting of followings :
1. PVC door frame of size 50x47mm with wall thickness of 5mm, made out of extruded 5mm thick rigid PVC foam sheet, mitred ar corners and joined with 2nos. 150mm long brackets of 15x15 mm M.S. square tube, the vertical door frame profiles to be reinforced with 19x19 mm M.S. square tube of 19 gauge, rubber gasket weather seal to be provided through out the frame. The door frame to be fixed to the wall using M.S. screws of 65/100 mm size, complete as per manufacturer's specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
2. PVC door shutter consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes of 19 gauge thickness and of size 19 mm x 19 mm for styles and 15x15 mm for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall have a coat of steel primers of approved make and manufacturer, M.S. frame covered with 5 mm thick heat moulded PVC 'C' channel of size 30 mm thickness, 70 mm width out of which 50 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree angle on both side forming styles and 5 mm thick, 95 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree on the inner side to form top and bottom rail and 115 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 95 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered on both sides to form lock rail. Top, bottom and lock rails shall be provided both side of the panel. 10 mm (5 mm x 2 ) thick, 20 mm wide cross PVC sheet be provided as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail, panelling of 5 mm thick both side PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded/ sealed to the styles & rails with 7 mm (5 mm+2 mm) thick x 15 mm wide PVC sheet beading on inner side and joined together with solvent cement adhesive. An additional 5 mm thick PVC strip of 20 mm width is to be stuck on the interior side of the 'C' Channel using PVC solvent adhesive & including all fittings, fixtures & 4 nos. 100 mm long heavy duty S.S. hinges etc. complete as per manufacturer's specification & as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Raised & cut Cement pointing to stone work with cement mortar 1:3, including raking out joints, pointing neatly and finishing the joints as specified, curing, scaffolding etc. complete as per specification & as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying rubber moulded reflective type factory made chamfered edge Cement Concrete interlocking paver blocks of 80 mm thickness & preferred make in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc, of approved make of M-35 grade strength, of approved size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand. complete all as per specification & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- The cost of sand/metal churi shall be paid separately under relavant item.
Filling under floors with 6mm and down aggregate i.e, stone churi including spreading , watering, ramming, consolidating, finishing to levels etc. complete all as per specification & directed by Engineer-in-Charge
Providing and fixing best quality approved colour and shade MARBLE PARTITION slab 12 to 14 mm thick and of size 1000mm x 650mm, polished on both sides, machine cut edges with rounded exposed corners including fixing in wall after cahsing with cement mortar or adhesive in proper level and line etc. all complete as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
