Excavation in trenches, n. exc 1.5 Mtr wide and n. exc 1.5 Mtr in depth for foundation/laying of cable and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n. Exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified.

Removing of excavated soil to a distance n. Exc 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level n. Exc 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified.

Supply & spread unwashed dry river sand for sand cushioning for covering the under ground cable in trenches complete all as specified .(Note :- Punning thickness shall be measured.)

M&L for cable protection cover with sub Class`B` bricks old size laid dry, flat perpendicular across the cable in trenches complete all as specified.

Taking out Unsv U/G cable PVC insulated armoured PVC sheathed Al. Conductor,LT Cable of following sizes complete all as specified .

Taking down ACSR over head Aluminium conductor steel reinforced of any size all as specified and directed including stringing/ dismatling through RCC/Steel tubular poles, fixing on insulators, jumpering with aluminium binding wire including Cross arm & Insulator etc complete all as specified.

Supply, laying, testing & commissioning LT XLPE insulated armoured (heavy duty) electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade (ISI marked) & laid in trenches/pipes or fixed on pole complete all as specified of the following sizes:-

240 Sqmm 3.5 core

185 Sqmm 3.5 core

120 Sqmm 3.5 core

95 Sqmm 3.5 core

Taking out old u/s pipe of any size complete all as specified and directed.

S & F or laying galvanised steel tubing medium grade (ISI marked) for protection of under ground cable on poles/walls under road crossing of size 50mm bore complete specified .

S & F for laying galvanised steel tubing medium grade (ISI marked) for protection of under ground cable on poles/walls or under road crossing of size 100 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for renewal of Earthing complete with galvanised mild steel plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate electrode at a depth not less than 1.5m below normal ground level and including GI earth strip 32x6 mm bolted (with GI nuts, bolts & check nuts) and riveted to earth plate electrode at one end connected to metallic bodies of HT/LT equipment etc at the other and earth strip encased in and including 40mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings from top of earth plate electrode to body of equipment fixed with and including 25x6 mm flat iron clamps bolts, nuts and washers and including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI Pipe electrode complete all as specified and shown in elctrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I. the scope of work includes necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil. removal of soil upto 50 metre PCC pit with precast RCC cover, charcoal/salt funnel, CI frame etc complete all as specified. NOTE:(I) The concrete pit shall be made in PCC 1:2:4 type B-O, using 12.50 mm graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm thick precast cover slab of RCC(1:2:4), type B-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate with suitable MS handle in lieu of CI cover. Reinforcement in cover shall be of 8mm dia TMT bars @ 150mm c/c both ways. (ii) Item includes the cost of 7.5 metre GI pipe for protection of earth strip. Any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order (iii) Item includes cost of 7.5 metre earth lead strip .Any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order. Demolition of cement Concrete in ground floors and pavings not exc 15cm thick( below or above ground floors) complete all as specified .

M&L for driling hole in hard standing / road for laying of pipe for protection upto 100 mm dia of cable etc by adopting method of horizontal manual drilling (trenchless technology) without disturbing the top surface or cutting and making good the disturbed surface to the existing surface complete all as specified.

Supply and laying of GI tube light grade 40 mm bore complete all as specified.

Taking out and Supply & laying LT XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area of 16 sqmm 4 core sizes in trenches /passing through pipes/ on poles etc complele all as specified.

Taking down of old unserviceable copper / aluminium point wiring (light) with conduit complete including fitting & fixture such as switches, ceiling roses, light fitting etc removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions seperately) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable sub main wiring of any size complete all as specified.

M&L concealed point wiring complete with two runs of 2.5 sqmm, single core multi stranded copper conductor PVC insulated and unsheathed FRLS cable, 1100volts grade IS-694 marked drawn through and including rigid steel ERW conduit min 20mm dia ( stove enameled) heavy duty as per IS 9537 Part I and including all necessary flame proof , weather proof conduit accessories and fitting fixed to concealed in wall/ceiling with teflon tape sealed in all threaded joints in conduit and fittings for light points and including 2.5 sqmm single core multi stranded copper conductor PVC insulated and unsheathed FRLS cable 1100 volts grade earth continuity wire (connecting to earth dolly) & wiring shall be done as per STEC-7 for the following :-

Supply and fixing in replacement of factory made mild steel flame froof distribution boards, class LM-6 , protection class (IP-55) CMRI certified suitable for gas group IIA & IIB suitable for mounting MCB/RCCBs, DBs TP&N 4 way, 415 volts conforming to IS-2143 with minimum 200A rating copper bus bar Comprising of following :- (i) Lighting distribution panel (ii) Incoming: - MCB , 4P 63AMP - 01 Nos (iii) Outgoing :- MCB, 1P, 6AMP -12Nos (MCB - L&T/Schneider or equivalent make) with complete internal Bus bar & wiring up to terminals complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of switch flame proof rotary type with termination box in LM6, 16 Amps single pole, 250 volts epoxy painted complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of LED flameproof tube light fitting CMRI certified 1x20W LED tube light fixture complete with all accessories prewired and including connecting up with twin core twisted flexible copper conductor cable with suitable size complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing in replacement of LED flameproof tube light fitting CMRI certified 2x20W LED tube light fixture complete with all accessories prewired and including connecting up with twin core twisted flexible copper conductor cable with suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L sub main wiring with two runs of single core PVC insulated but unsheathed FRLS cable of 2.5 sqmm with multi stranded copper conductors, 1100 volts grade, IS-694 marked , drawn-through rigid steel ERW conduit (stove enameled) 20 mm dia heavy duty and including suitable size and fittings/accessories, concealed in wall and also including the one run of 2.5 sqmm earth continuity conductor of similar type cable complete all as specified . Note :- Two runs of single core of 2.5 sqmm, one run of 2.5 sqmm earth continuity conductors and one run of 20mm dia ERW conduit with accessories shall be measured as one unit run length.

Taking out of old GI unsv earthing from existing position , dismantling the same complete all as specified .

Material and labour for chemical earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 3 mm thick buried directly in ground(earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m deep below normal ground connected to and including copper earth strip 25 x 3 mm by means of copper bolts nuts check nuts and washer, returning & filling the pit with excavated soil mixing with charcoal 250 KG , Crystal salt 200KG , magnesium sulphate of 100 KG and vegetable soil all around the plate up to 350mm above from top edge of plate and balance portion filing with excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25mm thick, 25mm bore galvanised iron medium grade watering pipe up to top of plate, 50mm bore galvanisd iron light grade pipe for earth strip protection, including all excavation earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 for chamber of internal size 300mm x300 x 300mm with 120mm thick wall and 700 mm x 700mm x 150mm thick, bed concrete, RCC 1:2:4, type B1 for precast chamber cover 50mm thick, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM jali (weight not less than 4.00 Kg/sqm), funnel, with wire mesh, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Quoted rates shall be deemed to include for earth strip with protection pipe up to 7.5 M length

Taking out of old unsv GI strip and supply & fix copper strip of size 25 x 3 mm complete with insulator/saddle and fixing with screw /accessories for roof and down conductor complete all as specified and as directed
