SPECIAL REPAIR TO INTERNAL ROADS OF PUNJAB NIWAS AND MT AREA OF 5 DOGRA AT FAIZABAD

M&L for scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 Sqm and depth exc. 50mm but n. exc. 100mm and stacking complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), in single layer of 75mm thick each using granite, trap or basalt stone aggregate, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required using 8 to 10 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using binder (paving bitumen VG 30) with 4% by weight of total mix all as specified (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) all as specified in particular specifications. Note:- (i) The quoted rate shall be worked out on the basis of binder contents (bitumen VG-30) of 4% by weight of total mix. (ii) Work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by GE and less bitumen shall be deducted from the quoted rate.

M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-10 grade @ 5 Kg per Ten Sqm on black top surface and applying 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5% paving bitumen binder content VG-30 Grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: (i) Bituminous premixe asphaltic semi dense concrete work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by GE. (ii) The binder content specified is minimum. Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to Government. (iii) Premixing shall be done by using Hot Mix plant and laying shall be done by using mechanical paver. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning dirt, oil/ grease spots and foreign materials etc, from old/ new road surface and applying 2.5mm thick thermo plastic (retro reflective) road marking paint for marking white traffic lines, straight or curved, having clear and sharp edges over road surfaces by using thermo plastic paint applicator machine and necessary T&P, including cleaning of roads surfaces, heating the paints within temperature limits specified by the manufacturer, making proper arragement for traffic during operation etc. complete all as specified and directed. Make: Asian/ Nerolac/ Berger Paints. NOTE: Thermo plastic paint material shall consist homogeneously composed of pigment, resins and glass reflecto rizing beads in required proportion as per MORTH specification and conforming to relavent IS.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quions, arches, pillars, etc. but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B'bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius using old size bricks built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) (Nominal Mix) as in slabs supported on wall, beams etc or similar works, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste of form work to soffits of suspended slab such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landing and similar work not exceeding 200mm thick (horizontal or sloping) for rough finished surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick cement plaster on the fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement , complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying three coats of white wash on newly plastered surfaces of wall including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
