NOTE: 1.Evaluation will be done by excluding Provisional sum and GST Amount 2.GST is to be quoted @ rate of 18% 3.The bid price shall be net of Input Tax credit availed by the bidder i.e., base price shall not have any GST component in it. In effect, clause 171 of GST, that is, the Anti-Profiteering Rule shall be adhered to. A self-declaration from the bidder on clause 171, shall be attached with the invoice. The output GST paid by the bidder shall be reimbursed by CHENNAI METRO RAIL LIMITED on production of the documentary evidence Preamble to Bill of Quantities: 1) The Bill of Quantities should be read in conjunction with the conditions given in the General conditions of contract and Special conditions of contract and the rates should be quoted accordingly. 2) The quoted rate should be inclusive of all incidental and enabling charges such as scaffolding, man lift, ladder, roping System, lighting arrangements, etc., to carry out the works. No additional charge will be paid other than measurement. 3) Rates should be quoted considering the restricted working hours since the contractor shall be allowed to carry out the works only during the non-revenue hours if required. Works should be planned as per the block schedule finalised by the CMRL from time to time. 4) Quantities given in the Bill Of quantities are indicative only. All items shall be paid only against the actual quantities executed at the site. 5) The Value of Variation is limited to +/- 25 %. 6) The Quoted rates should be inclusive of all design & drawing, supply fabrication and installation at the site. Nothing shall be claimed extra in this regard. 7) No Separate payment for the supply of materials.

The Signage Should have Easy mechanism of removing the content/Information for inspection and Services, Including Supporting Arrangements. Signs suspended from station ceilings should be fixed at a height of 2500 mm to the bottom of the sign from the finished floor level, as illustrated. The signs are suspended using hollow steel pipes or tubes which shall house the power/data cable in a protective sleeve for illuminated signs/dynamic signs. Bushings are required to protect the power cable and for safety at every junction. The suspenders should offer height adjustable to take account of misaligned ceilings or beams to install the sign in a spirit level horizontal position. Signs in exposed areas subject to movement, such as swinging in high winds or when a train passes at speed, should be adequately designed to counter the imposed loads and deflections. Suspenders shall be made MS powder coated Round/ Square as per the approved design and drawings. Emergency Exit Modular Led Illuminated Wall /Face Mounted Sign

Supply and Installation of LED Illuminated Wall Mounted Emergency Exit Signages (Modular Type) with min 2Hours Battery Back up, as per the approved design and drawings, Guidelines and to the Satisfaction of the Employer, made in Plotter cut green vinyl pasted on the rigid translucent sign face. Internal illumination using energy efficient lighting system either with its own battery backup for minimum 2 hours or connected to uninterrupted power supply. All emergency signage control gear shall comprise an emergency lighting control unit complete with rectifier, charger and nickel cadmium batteries. The control unit shall be capable of operating the lamp during emergency condition for duration of at least 2 hours, with socket and plugs . Photo Luminascent Signage

Supplying and Fixing of Wall/Face Mounted Photo Luminescent Signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per the approved design, Drawing and location, technical specification, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the Employer, as per the approved design, Drawings and location. All Photoluminescent signs shall be procured from specialised agency providing signs with following specifications but not limited to: Water proof Non corrosive, Withstand temperatures from 300 C up to 650 C,Non reactive to Dilute Alkalis and Acids, Glow time in excess of 2 mcd/m2 after 60 minutes. UV-stable and weather-resistant for outdoor applications, Ability to absorb energy from almost any light source (sunlight, fluorescent, incandescent) and then to emit light when ambient darkness occurs. The light produced is yellow-green in colour and is highly visible, lasting up to 10 hours.- Wall mounted type signages. Supply and fixing Floor Sign Self adesive heavy duty pavement graphic material (heavy duty floor vinyl or equivalent) must be used for these markings where the designs/colours are encapsulated beneath a hardwearing translucent top layer, including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per the approved design, Drawing and location, technical specification, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of CMRL. LEDs of uniform intensity are used for longer visibility for display boards in open area where minimum visibility requirement is 50 meters. Supplying and fixing sign box 50 mm Extruded , Profiled Aluminium modular system suitable for the Totem with anodized finish of AO01250/AO 6037 complete. Sign box including channel supports are to be anodised coated to match the colour as per drawing/existing frame colour, document and guideline. Front facia & pictograms (graphics) to be made up of 4mm thick 040 acrylic decorated with 3M block out vinyl and approved colour 3M cast vinyl design electro cut and pasted on it, and necessary Electro cut, Block out vinyl on the inner face of Acrylic for allowing the lighting only on the Content . Internally illuminated by using LED module of with 140 degree viewing angle ( minimum warranty period of 50000 Hours). Sign box including channel supports are to be anodised coated to match the colour as per drawing/existing frame colour, document and guideline. Supply and Installation of single sided illuminated signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per relevant drawings, technical specification, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the Employer. 3 to 4 inch Sign box made from 3mm ACP. Sign box including channel supports. Front facia, pictograms and its graphics are to be made up of 3mm thick Translucent Acrylic sheet decorated with Router cut back side 3mm acrylic pasted on it. Internally illuminated by using LED module of approved brand with minimum 50000 hours usage period warranty is must for lighting, with 140 degree viewing angle. Back covering sheet should be 3mm thick ACP, shall be with IP 65 certified as per approved graphics and fabrication drawing. The signage shall have an easy mechanism of removing the content/information for inspection and access of the service. The overall sign face will be with ACP, required content will be router cut on the ACP surface, and necessary Vinyl and Translucent acrylic will be fixed on the inner side of the sign box to the ACP inner surface with necessary SMPS/LED Driver etc all complete, Wall Mounted type. Schedule - 2 : Modification of Existing boards & maintenance of Existing Signage Boards with Design

Supply and fixing of 3M block out vinyl of approved colour 3M cast vinyl design electro cut and pasted on existing Acrylic décor. The Work includes removal of Existing Vinyl and cleaning the surface before pasting new Vinyl -Vertical line Map

4mm Thick Acrylic with Blockout Vinyl. Replacing the Existing by Supply and fixing of Front facia & pictograms (graphics) to be made up of 4mm thick 040 acrylic decorated with 3M block out vinyl of approved colour 3M cast vinyl design electro cut and pasted on 4mm thick Acrylic. The work includes cost of removing of Damaged existing Acrylic and Pictogram and Replacing with new one. For Payment the size of Board will be measured.

Supply and fixing of 3M HP Printed vinyl with Matt Lamination over existing ACP/Acrylic/wall/tile of approved colour and Design by CMRL. The Work includes removal of Existing Vinyl and cleaning the surface before pasting new Vinyl- Heavy duty vinyl for permanent use

Supply and fixing of Printed vinyl with Matt Lamination over existing ACP/Acrylic/wall/tile of approved colour and Design by CMRL. The Work includes removal of Existing Vinyl and cleaning the surface before pasting new Vinyl- for Temporary use.

Fixing of LED Modules includes all accessories, SMPS for LED illumination. necessary arrangements have to be done by contractor for removing and refixing in the location. (Illuminated area /sqm are same for single side and Double side signages)

SMPS Replacing the faulty SMSP by Supply and fixing of approved brand IP65 rated SMPS in Existing Sign Boards. The Work includes cost of Removing, Replacement of SMPS and refixing of Signage Board of any Size and any height.

Electro Cut Acrylic letters Replacement of fallen/ damaged 8mm thick Acrylic electro cut letters on existing Sign board by replacing with new one of required Size at any height. For payment maximum height and width of individual letter will be measured.

Clip on Frame. Replacement of damaged Clip-on Frame System by Supply and fixing of approved colour Clip on frame with necessary fixing arrangements.

Updating of Station destination as wimco nagar with train timings in the existing LED display in the existing totem signages

Conversion of Non illuminated Signage by providing Suitable approved Retroreflective Signage. The scope of work includes Supply and fixing of approved colour 3M Retro Reflective vinyl, removal and cleaning works of existing vinyl’s as identified and approved by CMRL

3M Frosted Sticker Supply and Fixing of 3M foster sticker with design electro cut and pasted on Glass doors. The work may include removal of existing sticker.

Plain Acrylic Sheet. Supply and Fixing of Clear glossy finished 2mm Acrylic Sheet on information board Signages with decorative mirror screws

3M Sun film Supply and fixing of 3M glass sun film on glass of approved brand and colour. The work may include removal of existing Sticker.

Relocation of existing Suspended-Both Illuminated and Non-Illuminated, Wall Mounted-Both Illuminated and Non Illuminated; and fixing in Suitable area of the Station, inclusive of all material excluding Signage

Strengthening of existing signage structure and fixing, to avoid damages in terms of additional welding and hardware

Removal of damaged existing hardware and replacing, refixing with Firm fixing by new hardware/frames etc for wall mounted signages.
