REPAIR OF CERTAIN ROAD, ROAD SIGN BOARDS AND ROAD FURNITURE AT SUKNA MIL STN UNDER GE SUKNA

Scarifying or picking of existing WBM/gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces of area n. exc 400 sqm and depth exc 50 mm and n.exc 100 mm including removing of debries etc from site to a distance n.exc 50 metres, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying 75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) (lime stone, sand stone, flint or Quartzite), spread, rolled with power roller 8 to12 tonnes & consolidated to gradient/camber required etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming /tack coat with cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) @ 3.50Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming /tack coat with cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) @ 2.50Kg/10 Sqm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam with 4% binder content (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix with self propelled mechanical paver, duly rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller and vibrating roller etc, complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt. approved Lab/ NABL approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.41 per Kg.

M&L for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5% binder content (paving bitumen of VG-30 grade) by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix with self propelled mechanical paver, the surfaces rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller and tandem vibrating roller etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt. approved Lab/ NABL approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing SDAC. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.41 per Kg . (iii) The thickeness of SDAC indicated above is the minimum thickness, Further, it is clarified that no payment for the addl. thickness in case required to be provided to achieve the desired levels, slope & making good the undulations etc, all as directed by the GE, shall be made.

All as per item No. 6 above but for 30mm consolidated thickness of semi dense asphaltic concrete.

M & L for thermoplastic road marking paint, white or golden yellow, conforming to BS-3262 applied on road/pavement as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc, exc 10 cm in width & of thickness not less than 2mm, with and including combination of retro-reflective glass beads 250-300 gm/ Sqm all as per manufacturer's instructions, using thermoplastic application unit etc, complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & Fix for reflective polycarbonate (Road Stud) of ABS confirming to INC code 67-3977 having load bearing capacity of 13.5 tonne (point load) of approx size 100 x 90 x 18mm high with reflectors on both sides, on road surfaces with and including epoxy/approved adhesive all as per manufacturer’s instructions complete including taking down old one all as specified and directed (Make :- 3M 290 series or equivalent of make Dark Eye as approved by GE).

Supply & Fixing High intensity reflective double sided sign boards of size 6'x4' fabricated with 2mm thick ACP (Aluminium composite plate) sheet [each face of ACP sheet shall be fully covered with micro prismatic retro reflective sheeting (high intensity) in approved colour including 25mm wide border of high intensity prismatic grade tape] duly framed with stainless steel pipe of 25mm bore (wall thickness 2.6mm) and also provided with posts of stainless steel tube 60mm bore (wall thickness 3.00mm) upto 2.8 metre height (2.35 metre above ground level and balance below ground level) covered with chromium plated cap at top, necessary fixing arrangement (nuts, bolts, rivets) with stainless steel frame to ACP board [posts shall be erected in 450mm x 450mm x 600mm cement concrete (1:2:4) type B2 block (with use & waste of necessaey form work for casting of PCC block) and also including necessary earthwork, for holding of road sign board] and writing as required, messages in any languges (English & Hindi) using symbol (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian), commas, index, hand arrow, dashes, stops etc (letter size n exc. 30cm high) using high quality /high intensity prismatic grade tape fixed on the sheet through hand squeeze roller applicator, all elements inclusive in quoted rates for entire completion of the job as per sample kept in GE office, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling / taking down of existing road sign boards of any discription including making good of damaged surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for repairs to potholes any depth, not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scouring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road aggregate, chippings etc), rolling with 8 to 12 Tonne Power Roller and making good to receive BM and/or semi dense asphaltic concrete etc, complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Topping of BM/Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete will be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ).

Material and Labour for repairs to pot holes, any depth, not exc 1.0 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to atleast 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS -I) @ 3.5 Kg per 10 sqm , putting in premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 25 mm consolidated thickness with 5% of binder content of paving bitumen VG - 30 grade by weight of total mix (premixed material prepared in hot mixed plant), pre- mixed material laid with self propelled mechanical paver, finished inlcuding rolling and compacting the surfaces to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and tandom vibrating roller etc, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) Rate deemed shall also be deemed to be included for making good of any undulation/damages in wearing surfaces, where semi dense asphaltic concrete to be laid. (b) Semi dense ashphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder content shall be provided as per design mix, contractor shall quote his rates considering the bitumen contents as 5%. Any variation in binder content shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs 41.00 per Kilogram of binder.

S&F in repair Solar Delineator (1000 x 47mm) made of polycarbonate and toughened aluminium alloy body, height 145mm, diameter 80mm, comprises of 4 super bright LEDs which give 360 degree viewing, Solar panel 2.5 Volts, 120mm (approx), 1.25V rechargeable battery 01 No., backup 12 hours of continuous lighting at night, Make Dhruv or equivalent of make 3M as approved by the GE, including taking down of old one, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of existing brick edging laid dry from road sides including necessary earth work, complete all as specified and direceted.

M & L for Continuous brick edging with width equal to the width of the brick, laid dry on end vertically with burnt clay bricks of sub class B including necessary earth work, complete all as specified and direceted.

All as per item No. 18 above but using serviceable bricks (after cleaning) retrieved from item No. 17 here-in-before.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description as in road side kerbs and in any other position not otherwise specially provided for including removal of demolished materials from site, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing Factory Fabricated precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) road side kerbs of size 450 x 300 x150/100 mm and/or 300 x 250 x 150/100mm, with plain faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throating and setting in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC type D-2, 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub-base of paver Blocks, foundation, filling & mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 60mm thick Factory Fabricated Machine pressed precast conctete interlocking paver blocks confirming to IS 15658-2006, M-35 Grade (size, shape and colour as approved by the GE) with grey cement and pigment, over & including 25mm thick sand cushioning, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying two coats of exterior emulsion weather coat paint over & including one coat of primer, also including preparation of exposed concrete surfaces of PCC Road side kerbs etc, complete all as specified and directed.
