Dismantling of existing damaged/unserviceble Sign board of any size and description fixed in any position from shoulders of Runway/links and stacking and removing from site and making good to disturbed area complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of Sign boards of any size and position from shoulders of runway/ links with supporting structure described as under:- (a) Sheet & Frame :- UV protected sheet 3mm thick, Air pocket, 100% UV resistance for 1000 hrs, weathering tests or tensile strength as per ASTM 653 and very low flammability as per IS-6746, Appx"N" 1994 temperature resistance (-) 40 degree centigrade to (+) 80 degree centigrade and able to with stand wind to wind face of 150 kg/hr fixed on non-metalic frame/ UPVC square tube frame having minimum strength 4000 kg sqcm, impact strength of 139 kg/sqcm and frame mounted to 1.80 to 2.00 mm thick GFRP case or GI tubing light grade 40 mm dia 2 Nos, 1.20 m length each complete all as specified and directed. (b)Sign boards:- Retro reflective sheeting class C, 3m Diamond Grade 3 (DG3) confirming to ASTMD 4956.09 type -XI with pressure sensitive adesive fixed to UPVC sheet & frame as per manufactures instruction. Size and shape of signs/numbers/indications & letters etc, complete all as specified and directed. (c)Sign boards fixing :-PCC 1:2:4 Type B-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in pit of size 45 x 45 x 60 cm & including excavation/earthwork in any type of soil , returning filling and removal of surplus soil etc, out side runway/links complete all as specified and directed.Make:-VIBGYOR INDUSTRIES/SINOR/ELECTO SYSTEM/NASU/POSH DECOR/VARDHMAN

Cleaning & removal of soil/silt, shurbs & other waste from the drain and the surface throughly for free flow of rain water complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removal of drain cleaning material to a distance exceeding 1.50 Km but not exceeding 5.00 Km and depositing out of MOD area where at a level not exceeding 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for shifting of existing RCC slab cover (Size not exceeding 1.20m x 0.30m x 0.15m) placed over drain and replacing the same over existing drain again after cleaning the drain (Cleaning will be paid under relevent item of this DCS) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for preparation of existing painted/unpainted surfaces on Runway, Dispersal & Links (painting lines, dashes, arrows, threshold, touchdown point, designation letters etc) of pavements with compressed air blower 50 to 90 PSI, coir, wire brushes to remove all loose dirt, dust, grease spots or any foreign materials etc, over 10 cm in width or girth and applying a coat of water based (water thinable) acrylic road marking paint (Black/white/golden yellow)) the approved shade and pattern with black colour, border strips on either sides of other colours marking, complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(i) The Black strips on either side of other colour paint line, arrows letter, dashes shall be measured combined width wise for the purpose of calculating the area of painting. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of masking tape to protect pavement surface for spilled out of paint and removal & disposal of the same from MOD land. (iii) Site availability shall be as per User's /site requirement. (iv) Rate including from any aircraft coming and stoppage of work in a day. (v) Painting to be carried out three times or more as per requirement in a year (measurement will be carried out each time sepraterly) Make:- BERGER /ASIAN /NEROLAC /ICI INDIA DULUX/SHALIMAR

M & L for preparation of existing painted/unpainted surfaces on Runway, Dispersal & Links (painting lines, dashes, arrows, threshold, touchdown point, designation letters etc) of pavements with compressed air blower 50 to 90 PSI by removing old paint using paint removers or burning off by blow lamps and cleaning with scraper sand applying two coats of water based water based (water thinable) acrylic road marking paint (Black/white/golden yellow)) the approved shade and pattern with black colour, border strips on either sides of other colours marking, complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(i) The Black strips on either side of other colour paint line, arrows letter, dashes shall be measured combined width wise for the purpose of calculating the area of painting. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of masking tape to protect pavement surface for spilled out of paint and removal & disposal of the same from MOD land. (iii) Site availability shall be as per User's /site requirement. (iv) Rate including from any aircraft coming and stoppage of work in a day. Make:- BERGER /ASIAN /NEROLAC /ICI INDIA DULUX/SHALIMAR

M & L for preparation of existing treated/ untreated surface of pavements with wire ; coir brushes’ Compressed air blower , to remove all loose dust, dirt, grease spots etc and applying a coat of lime white wash complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in -charge.

M & L for grass cutting upto zero level along the pavement shoulders by Mechanically/manually and removed grass in low laying area with in Technical area complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note 01:- Phase wise details of approx quantity of grass cutting (to be measured at site) are as followed. (a) Phase I:- From the date of commencement of work to next 03 month -66000 Sqm (b) Phase II:- From the date of completion of phase I to next 03 month -66000 Sqm (c) Phase III:-From the date of completion of phase II to next 03 month -66000 Sqm (d) Phase IV:- From the date of completion of phase III to next 02 month -41000.00 Sqm Note 02 :- Since the work is a safety requirement for Air Field. The entire Quantity is to be executed in the above mentioned period otherwise twice the rate per square meter quoted by the contractor will be recovered from contractor if less quantity executed under the entire phase wise period of work. Note 03:- Four labour are required with petrol grass cutting machine in every day of the contract period except sunday/Holiday.

SCHEDULE 'A' PART-II (Schedule of credit) Credit amount of Rs (Refer schedule of credit) for retrieved material mentioned in Sch 'A' Part-II of Tender documents in PDF form will be deducted offline during acceptance of tender of lowest bidder.
