Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of Galvanized MSERW Flanged/ Butt Welded pipes including cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO 3183-2012 Grade L210 or X or A / L290 or X 42 as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 4m - 6m, The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as per table below conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nut and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick as per IS: 2712-1965 & 95% butt welded joint by considering minimum three layers The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers on outer face + one layer on inner face to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipes should be conformed to IS: 5822-1994 (earth work in trenches, MS flanges and butt welded joint to be measured and paid for seprately) . The pipe shall have zinc coating as per IS:4736 in factory latest with upto date ammendements complete in all respect and including DPT test for joints & manual/ mechnical handling of pipes. The laying of pipe shall confirm to BIS-5822 (with latest ammendments uptodate), including all kind of specials such as bends of all degree to be made from parent tube, short pieces, tail pieces all made from parent tube & complete in all respect within all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. The starting current of the motor shall be limited to not more than 4.5 to 5 times of full load current. Energy efficiency level of the motors should be minimum IE2. All electrical equipments such as starter, ICTP switches, MCB , bus bar chamber , MCB, panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter, voltmeter , Hour run meter should be of electronic type and fully automated base on SCADA. The pump set should include water level gurds, errection clamp, cable clips, depth gauge NRV and sluice valve (cast iron PN 1.6 Leader/ Kirloskar & flanged GMS/GMSERW for lowering of column pipe. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge . The rates are for complete Job to run the mechinery in proper working and should meet with requrements . The pumping machinery shall be fully automated ( SCADA based ) with VFD panel alongwith motor PLC system on eathernet flow meter, level switches and pump interface complete in all respect and shall be capable of starting and switching of as per the requrement of water and factors like water levels in T/Well/ Sump and storage reservoir , time, power availability to be monitored/ operated from pump house , Sub Divisional office and Divisional office. The maintenance of the automation will be done by the contractor for three year within the same cost . ( Data Sheet No.2)

The power of electric motor/ motors should be at least (+) 10% in Excess of the meximum power required by the pump/ pumps in the opration range of (+) 10% and (- ) 15% of the duty point head. All eletrical equipments such as starter , ICTP Switches MCB, Bash bar chamber , MCB, panel board including lamps, Amp meter , volt meter. Hour run meter should be of eletronic type and fully automated based on SCDA . The pump set should include water level guards , errection clamp , cable clips, depth gauge NRV and sluice valve (cast iron PN 1.6 Leader/ Kirloskar & flanged GMS/GMSERW for lowering of column pipe. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge . The rates are for complete Job to run the mechinery in proper working and should meet with requrements . Energy efficiency level of the motor should be minimum IE2 . The pumping machinery shall be fully automated ( SCADA based ) with VFD panel alongwith motor PLC system on eathernet flow meter, level switches and pump interface complete in all respect and shall be capable of starting and switching of as per the requrement of water and factors like water levels in T/Well/ Sump and storage reservoir , time, power availability to be monitored/ operated from pump house , Sub Divisional office and Divisional office. The maintenance of the automation will be done by the contractor for three year within the same cost . ( Data Sheet No. 1)

Supplying and packing of gravel, consisting of hard quartz or other suitable material with an average specific gravity of not less than 2.5,not containing more than 2% by weight of thin flat of elangated pieces, shall be of sub rounded to rounded grains with minimum angular features of size 2-3.35 mm shall be free from impurities such as shafe,shale,mica,felspar,clay,sand,dirt loam,baematte and organic material as pe IS 4097-1967 with upto date , amendments, if any, around intake of tubewell with minium thickness of shroud around screen generally 100 mm to the entire depth of the bore as per 2800(Part-I ) 1991 with upto date amendments, if any, with in all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per direction of the Engineer -in- Charge.
Development of tubewell by back washing method, with air compressor of minimum 750 CFM capacity, pumping pipe of 200 mm size and air line of minimum 65 mm size or with other suitable method,till the well is thoroughly developed as per clause 4.2 of IS 11189-1985, with upto date anebdnebts, if any, complete in all respects as per direction of the Engnieer -in- Charge.
Development of tubewell by continous over pumping method,with VT pump/ submersible pumps of suitable capacity not less than double the discharge established by the compressor method/ design discharge, untill the well is sand free as per IS-11189-1985 up -to- date amendments, if any, complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer -in- Charge .The draw down and discharge to be established by running the VT / Submersible pump continously for 8 hours in the presence of officer not less than the rank of Assistant Engineer.
Testing the verticality of the tubewell as per clause 4.3 of IS 2800 ( Part-II) 1979 with upto date amendments, if any, using plumb or plunger 6 mm smaller in dia within the inside diameter of the well casing.The results of the verticality test shall be recorded on proforma shown in Appendix A of IS 2800 (Part-II) 1979 with up-to-date ammendments, if any, as appended with the tender documents and handed over complete in all respect as the directions of the Engineer -in- Charge.
Dismentalling of Rig or other allied accesssories after completion of job within all leads & lifts, complete in all respects as per the directions of the Engineer -in- Charge.
Handing over of the tubewell in complete shape as per appendex "B" of clause 7 of IS 2800 (Part-II) -1979 with upto date ammendmentes if any, as appended with the tender documents, in laminated form , in triplicate, complete in all respect as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
