REPAIRS TO ROLLING SHUTTERS, STEEL GATES OTM / MD ACCN BLDGS AND FENCING, NALLAH AND COMPOUND WALL AT SANKRUBAGH, MO, CORE AREA, NSRY, CHENDIYA, KADAMBA VANAM AT NAVAL BASE KARWAR.

M&L for providing and injecting emulsion for post construction anti termite treatment for soil under existing floors using chemical emulsion at the rate of one litre per hole, 300mm apart including drilling 12 mm dia holes and plugging the holes with cement mortar (1:2) etc to match with existing floors complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for taking down rolling shutters of the following sizes, including dismantling, replacing worn-out/unserviceable minor parts with new ones, cleaning, oiling/greasing, reassembling, refixing in position, adjusting alignment and testing to ensure smooth and proper functioning, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Replacement of parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Schedule ‘A’.

M&L for overhauling rolling shutter of the following sizes without taking down from position (by opening hood cover), including cleaning, oiling/greasing of moving parts for trouble-free operation, rectifying minor defects, refixing hood cover in position, adjusting/alignment and testing to ensure smooth functioning, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Replacement of parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Schedule ‘A’.

(b) Area exceeding 8 Sqm but not exceeding 12 Sqm each

(c) Area exceeding 12 Sqm but not exceeding 20 Sqm each

S&F steel rolling shutter with 1.25 mm thick laths, without ball bearing, complete as specified including top cover, anchoring rod, hasp and staple and one shop coat of primer, erected in position as indicated, gear operated type complete with bevel gear box and crank handle, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Suspension shaft and connecting rod shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item(s) of Schedule ‘A’.

S&F in repairs mild steel worn wheel and gear wheel fitted to suspension shaft of the rolling shutter and connecting rod respectively all as specified and directed. Note:- Suspension shaft and connecting rod shall be measured and paid for separately.

S&F in repairs Bevel gear box with crank handle fitted to connecting rod all as specified and directed. Note:- Connecting rod shall be measured and paid for separately

S&F in repairs 25mm dia mild steel connecting rod fitted to gear wheel and bevel gear all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs, fabricated lock plate of riveted construction made of mild steel sheet 3.15mm thick and 100mm width, reinforced with mild steel angle of size 40mmx40mmx6mm at bottom and top shall be interlocked with bottom most lath section of curtain all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs rolling shutter lath sections made from cold rolled steel strips 1.20 mm thick, with interlocking curls at both edges and deep central corrugation with bridge depth not less than 12 mm, each lath section to be continuous single piece without any welding joint, complete all as specified and directed.

Description same all as per item No.09 above but 0.9mm thick lath

S&F in repairs Mild steel clips riveted at either ends and fitted on ends of lath section all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Mild steel flat iron 40mmx6mm as in stiffeners in hood cover and stopper to arrest lock plate including necessary welding etc all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Mild steel guide channel of size 65mm depth, 25mm width and 3.15mm thick including fixing of cleats or supports (not exceeding 750mm c/c) for attachment to the wall or column by means of bolts or screws all as specified and directed.

All as per items No.13 herein before but guide channel of size 75mm depth , 25mm width and 3.15mm thick

S&F in repairs mild steel bracket plate 3.15 mm thick, area not exceeding 0.15 sq m in any shape, fixed to wall with holdfast made of MS angle 40 × 40 × 6 mm, minimum 200 mm length from edge of bracket plate, embedded in PCC 1:2:4 (Type B-1) bed block of size 250 × 200 × 200 mm, and fitted with guide channel by means of 20 mm square bar of suitable length, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per items No.15 herein before but bracket plate of 6mm thick and area exceeding 0.15 sqm & not exceeding 0.25 sqm.

S&F in repairs Suspension shaft made out of mild steel pipe confirming to IS-1161-1968, medium class 40mm dia all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 17 here in before 50mm dia.

S&F in repairs Mild steel cranked handle suitable for gear operated type rolling shutter all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs “0 0” gauge helical wire or flat spiral spring fixed with suspension shaft all as specified an directed.

S&F in repairs “0” gauge helical wire or flat spiral spring fixed with suspension shaft all as specified an directed.

S&F in repairs suspension shaft cage formed out of 35mmx6mm flat iron all as specified and directed.

S&F repairs Mild steel sheet 1.00mm thick as in hood cover of any shape with flat iron stiffeners at both edges and fixed to the bracket plate all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs safety lever locks mild steel with 4 levers for rolling shutters all as specified and directed.

Taking down steel gate each leaf area exc 1.5 Sqm but n exc 4 Sqm with bed blocks, pintle hinges & hold fasts, rectifying the defects such as straightening, welding etc and refixing in position with provision of bed blocks, new/old pintle hinges and hold fasts as required and all as directed. Note : welding, bed blocks, pintle hinges and hold fasts shall be measured and paid for separately.

S&F in repairs mild steel 0.63mm thick plain black sheet in steel gates, cut to size, punched, including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to steel frame with plain 40mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. complete all as specified and directed

M&L for welding in repairs n.exc 2.5 cm in length and thickness of metal to be welded exc 6mm but not exceeding 9mm all as specified and directed

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of old treated steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for mild steel structural framed work confirming to Fe410-W (Gde-E-250) quality-A as in door or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc, complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering, ladder, doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging, also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and directed

M&L for taking down motorised aluminium rolling shutter of opening area exceeding 20 sq m and not exceeding 30 sq m, including hood cover/housing, octagonal tube, end caps, side guide rails, motor and connected accessories, and overhauling/servicing complete including cleaning, oiling/greasing and replacement of unserviceable minor parts as required, reassembling and refixing in original position after rectification of defects, adjusting/alignment and testing to ensure smooth operation to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Aluminium laths shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item(s) of Schedule ‘A’.

S&F in repairs aluminium rolling shutter lath sections made from rolled aluminium strips 1.00 mm thick, double-walled interlocking with curls at both edges, 65 mm wide, with deep central corrugation having bridge depth not less than 12 mm, each lath section to be continuous single piece without any welding joint, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling electric motor 0.50 HP, single phase, 230 V of any make from top of rolling shutter, opening the motor, removing/cutting out burnt winding, rewinding with super enamelled copper winding wire of suitable gauge to match existing winding, including insulating/varnishing, drying, reassembling, refixing in original position, connecting to rolling shutter with proper alignment and testing, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of cement plaster from brick or stone wall surfaces of any description including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surfaces, mixed with integral waterproofing compound @ 1% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions, whichever is higher, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Supply only integral waterproofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only approved water proofing compound all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted plastered wall surfaces of any description, including brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping off smoke, soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts, treating oil and greasy spots, and applying one coat acrylic emulsion exterior grade weather-proof paint, including necessary scaffolding up to 3.50 m height and safety measures, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed

Supply only Chain link MS galvanised fencing, any size or type

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire all as specified and directed.

M&L for MS flat fixed to Post/Vertical members including securing bolts for chain link fencing etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel round bars 10mm dia and over for securing chain link fencing cut to length bent to shape required including bolting etc complete confirming to FE 290 Gde E-165 all as specified and directed

Dismantling of stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlars facings, dressed stonework etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for walling of random rubble masonry uncoursed, well bounded, bedded and solidly hearted built in Cement Mortar 1:6 all as specified and directed.

M&L for walling of random rubble, masonry uncoursed, well bounded, bedded and solidly hearted built in Cement Mortar 1:6 but except stones all as specified and directed.

M&L for flush pointing to block in random rubble masonry as in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.
