Repairs / maintenance of submersible pump set (1.5 HP) K.S.B make installed at Raya Lift Irrigation Station by way of disconnecting of all electric connections and then extracting out the submersible pump set (approximate 110 feet) with the help of chain pulley block or other mechanical source. After extracting out the submersible pump set, dismantling the pump / motor set and shifting it to workshop for repair. Job involves complete repair of pump by way of rebuilding the pump shaft and P/F of new Thrust Bearing, impellers, sleeves, bushes, suction strainer, O-ring, screw / nuts and bolts and washers in place of damaged one and gasket etc. Job also involves complete rewinding of 1.5 HP motor. Coupling the motor and pump after repair and testing it on No Load and then shifting it to the site of work. Lowering the submersible pump set with the help of column pipe one by one by fitting rubber gasket and nut bolts. After complete lowering check all electrical connections and testing the same on full load. Job includes cost of material, skilled labour charges and charges for all tools and tackles required for execution of job including to and fro carriage charges

Dismantling of air release valve installed at different RD`s from the flange coupling connecting it with 914 mm dia rising main after opening the top cover / locking arrangement of the door of the air release valve by opening/cutting of rusted nut/ bolts . Shifting of air release valve to workshop. De-scaling /cleaning/mud/foreign material deposited inside the body of the air release valve by scrubbers & emery paper. Repair to the cast iron body of the valve by way of welding with cast iron electrodes and then setting right the system of the air release valve with replacement of perished balls & damaged plates Shifting back of air release valve to site & fitment at a respective RD`s with the replacement of worn-out flange & valve gaskets . Strengthening of delivery line of 250mm dia of unit no.3,5 & 6 at LIS Raya. Strengthening of weakened/ leaked joints is done by removing the old and leaked welding by grinding so that a V-groove is formed in the joint. Then welding all around the periphery of joint with three layers in such a way that leak proof joint is made by using superior quality welding electrodes. If needed MS Plate of suitable size is welded to strengthen the joint. Welding works should be of standard quality. Finishing the welded joints and removing the unwanted deposits. Also plugging the holes in delivery lines at various spots by first grinding the spot and then filling the spot by welding. Again grinding the welded spots for finishing it to match the surface of delivery line. Replacing the old and rusted nuts and bolts with washers from the flanges and supporting straps of delivery line. Clearance of pump house, store and sub-divisional office premises by way of jungle cutting including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, bushes etc. not exceeding 30 cm in girth and disposal of all jungle bushes etc. after cutting outside the periphery of the cleared area as per site conditions including laying of aggregate material (Approx. 400 Cuft) within Sub Station premises, for ensuring smooth working and safety of workers from poisonous insect / snakes etc. at site and to avoid any accidental fires to bushes. Total area 5500 sq. m (approx.)
