RRS, GRASS CUTTING TO SIDE OF RUNWAY , LINE MARKING, PAINTING OF RUNWAY IN TECH AREA AT AF STN GORAKHPUR UNDER GE(AF) GORAKHPUR.

Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5 M deep and getting out in soft /loose soil.

Excavating over areas, exc 1.5 M deep but not exceeding 3.0 mtr and getting out in soft /loose soil.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers, n exc 25cm thick in hard dense soil. Total depth of filling upto a depth of 2.80mtr. Note:-1 Ramming and compaction shall be carried out with vibratory compactors to each layer of filling to the entire satisfaction of Engineer- in -Charge. Note:-2 The earth shall be filled in craters during the exercise carried out by AF authorities. Note:-3 Earth spread around the caters shall be used for filling in the craters and ramming the same as specified in note No.1

Removing excavated material obtained from crater to a distance exc. 1.50 KM but n exc. 5.0 KM n. exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point and depositing where directed.

M & L for 200 mm spread thickness granular sub-base using crushed or broken graded stone aggregates, of grading II as approved by GE in two layers of 100 mm spread thickness, each layer spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber as required complete all as specified and directed. Note : To achieve grading -II for stone aggregates the mixed proporation are as under given. (i) Stone aggregate 40 mm size 50% (ii) Stone aggregate 10 mm size 35% (iii) Stone dust 15% Materail : As per MORTH table 401.2.1 the material to be used for the work shall be natural sand , crushed gravel , crushed stone , crushed slag or combinaation there of depending upon the grading required .Use of material like brick metal ,kankar and crushed concrete shall be permitted in the lower sub-base. The material shall be free from organic or other deleterious constituents and shall confirm to grading given in table 400-1 and physical requirement given in Table 400-2 Grading II preferably be used in granular sub- base for this work . M&L for 200 mm thick (Compacted thickness) WMM laid in 2 layers of 100 mm each layer, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber as required including necessary lateral support and form work, if required using crushed stone, coarse aggregate of maximum size 40 mm of grading as specified type igneous rock such as /trap/basalt etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- 1 The materials reach to destination with in three hours as and when ordered . The quoted rates deemed to be included such provision. Note:- 2 If the contractor failed to deliver the above materials within time limit as specified. M&L Preparing WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt , M & L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat paving bitumen with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sq metre etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 150mm Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete (DAC-1) in three layers 50mm each consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. The approximate proportion of graded aggregate by weight of total mix, to be blended to obtained desired premix asphaltic concrete has been given here. . (i). 20 mm graded stone aggregate 27 %( approximate) (ii). 10 mm graded stone aggrgate 17% ( appriximate) (iii). 6 mm graded stone aggregate 15% ( approximate). (iv). Stone dust 39 % (approximate) (v).Cement 2% ( approximate ) (vi). Paving bitumen VG-30 /PMB-40 ( as available on near by hot mix plant (5.5% ( Approximate) Note:- 1 The materials reach to destination with in three hours as and when ordered .
